A Study on a Spiral Charge for Charge Simulation Method (전하 중첩법용 Spiral 전하에 관한 검토)

  • This paper investigates characteristics of spiral charge for charge simulation method to calculate electric fields of spiral conductor bundles with spiral rods in 765 kV transmission line. We finds the simulating spiral charge as constant charge density give less potential calculation error than sinusoidal charge density. When a spiral rod is simulated as spiral charge, we also knows two spiral charge can simulate spiral rod best.

  • In nonlinear optics, the properties of nonlinear optical responses such as polarization and nonlinear analysis of the nonlinear surfaces were investigated using the jellium model by optical second harmonic generation. The nonlinear response of the Al metal surfaces were calculated using TDLDA. Band structure, lattice constant and bulk modulus of the Al metal were investigated.   • The conducting currents of polypropylene film was measured a function with electric fields at temperature of 25,35,45( C). It appears that there are four regions of conducting currents, depending upon the strength of the applied electric field` ohmic region based on ionic conduction, Poole-Frenkel region, Schottky region and negative resistance region. Several information of dielectric constant and potential barrier height were obtained.

  • Three of the most important factors governing liquid transmission inunsaturated soils are field-saturated hydraulic conductivity, Kfs matric flux potential , ${\Phi}$m and sorptivity, S. The Guelph Permeameter is an in-hole constant-head permeameter, employing the Mariotte Principle. The study was carried out to investiate the characteristics of the water hsed average infiltration coefficient measured by the Guelph Permeameter at the Backokpo watershed in the Han river and at the Bandong watershed in the Keum river.

  • An axially marching numerical method is developed for the simulation of the internal waves produced by translation of a submersed vehicle in a density-stratified ocean. The method provides for the direct solution of the primitive variables [$\upsilon,\;p,\;\rho$] for the nonlinear and steady state three-dimensional Euler's equation with a non-constant density term in the vehicle-fixed cartesian co-ordinate system. By utilizing a known potential flow around the vehicle for an estimate of the axial velocity gradient, the present parabolic algorithm local upstreamwise disturbances and axial velocity variation.

  • Motivated essentially by their potential for applications in a wide range of mathematical and physical problems, the log-sine and log-cosine integrals have been evaluated, in the existing literature on the subject, in many different ways. The main object of this paper is to present explicit evaluations of some families of log-sine and log-cosine integrals by making use of the familiar Beta function.

  • We investigated the field emission of single carbon nanotube including the anode effect by calculating the tunneling probability of an electron. The experimental results from this study were in agreement with our theoretical calculations. The constant enhancement factor was calculated using an approximation of the potential barrier.

Simple Harmonic Oscillation of Ferromagnetic Vortex Core

  • Here we report a theoretical description of ferromagnetic vortex dynamics. Based on Thiele's formulation of the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation, the motion of the vortex core could be described by a function of the vortex core position. Under a parabolic potential generated in the circular magnetic patterns, the vortex core showed a circular rotation-namely the gyrotropic motion, which could be described by a 2-dimensional simple harmonic oscillator. The gyrotropic frequency and apparent damping constant were predicted and compared with the values obtained micromagnetic calculation.

  • The object of the present paper is to characterize Sasakian 3-manifolds admitting a gradient Ricci-Yamabe soliton. It is shown that a Sasakian 3-manifold M with constant scalar curvature admitting a proper gradient Ricci-Yamabe soliton is Einstein and locally isometric to a unit sphere. Also, the potential vector field is an infinitesimal automorphism of the contact metric structure. In addition, if M is complete, then it is compact.
