Due to the rapid development of digital technnology and informantion communication, in the IEC 61850 based substation automation system, the innovative paradigm shift is expected and also required in many substation-related jobs, especially in the device function test area Accordingly a common testing model which can simplify the complex contents of the SAS performance test performed by test engineers has been identified, that can overcome limitations of engineers' own testing knowledge and experience. Testing models and its design system for the comprehensive performance test of the Substation Automation System is developed and the result of the study is reported in this paper.

최근 멀티미디어 산업의 빠른 성장 및 기술의 발전으로 VOD, Teleshopping 등 멀티미디어 서비스를 지원하는 DAVIC 시스템을 개발하려는 노력이 폭넓게 이루어지고 있는 상황이다. 따라서 DAVIC 시스템에 대한 적합성 시험 기술의 확보는 국내 멀티미디어 관련 제품의 국제화에 필수적인 요소가 될 것이다. DAVIC의 핵심이라 할 수 있는 DSM-CC는 시스템의 세션 및 전달계층의 연결설정 및 해제를 담당하는 S3 정보흐름을 위해 DSM-CC U-N을 채택하고 있으며 사용자 어플리케이션 제어를 담당하는 S2 정보흐름을 위해 DSM-CC U-U를 채택하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 메시지 시퀀스가 없는 DSM-CC U_U의 적합성 시험을 위해 시나리오 기반의 적합성 시험 구조와 방법을 제안한다.

본 논문에서는 지상파 DMB(Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting, T-DMB) 데이터 서비스 중 하나인 방송웹사이트(Broadcast Web Site, BWS) 서비스에 대한 송수신 정합 시험 도구를 개발하였다. 먼저 지상파 DMB BWS 서비스를 위한 송신 측 및 수신 측 정합 시험 방법론을 수립하였다. 시험 도구는 BWS 비트스트림 분석기, BWS 참조 복호 모듈(소프트웨어) 그리고 BWS 시험 비트스트림 등의 세 가지로 구성된다. 송신 측 시험을 위해 BWS 비트스트림 분석기를 개발하였으며, 수신 측 시험을 위해 BWS 참조 복호 모듈을 개발하고 BWS 시험 비트스트림을 제작하였다. 이 시험 비트스트림의 적합성을 검증하는 데 본 논문에서 개발한 비트스트림 분석기가 실제로 사용되었다. 동일한 시험 비트스트림을 시험 대상 BWS 복호 모듈과 참조 복호 모듈에 동시에 입력하고, 이 두 모듈의 결과를 비교함으로써 수신 측 시험을 수행한다. 본 논문에서 개발한 시험 도구들은 MOT 프로토콜, HTML, PNG, MNG, JPEG, Ecma 스트립트 등 BWS에 포함된 모든 프로토콜 및 텍스트/이미지 규격에 대한 시험을 포함한다.

Bluetooth technology(BT) is a standard for short distance wireless communication and widely used to connect and control various electronic and telecommunication devices without wires, where CSR8670 chip is generally adopted. These BT devices are required to comply with BT specification and the equipments for conformance test are also important. However, the existing BT testing methods have inconvenience in that they are mostly time-consuming procedure due to not only repetitive execution for each evaluation element but also error-prone nature of manual experiments. This paper proposes an automated BT communication test method using CSR8670 chip, which solves the problems related to manual testing methods. The proposed method can reduce the development period of BT products and guarantee the quality improvement owing to the exact system error detection capability.

OSI 모델에 입각한 기능확인 위주의 종래의 단순한 프로토콜 시험기법은 성능시험, 적합성시험, 상호접속시험으로 세분화되고 대상 프로토콜도 일대일, 일대다수(Point-to -multipoint)로 확장되었다. 본 논문에서는 시험항목 생성부분과 시험결과 분석기능을 공통 플랫폼으로 하고 시험 대상 프로토콜의 성격과 시험목적에 따라서 모듈화된 시험수행기부분을 선택적으로 변경하는 다기능 프로토콜 시험시스템을 제시하였다. 본 논문은 다기능 시험시스템 설계에 입각한 예로서 망루팅 프로토콜 시험시스템, 트랜스포트 프로토롤 시험시스템의 구조를 보인다.

IEC 61850 based substation automation system mainly consists of human machine interface and a various of IEDs in charge of protective and control functions of the substation. Both of them should require the performance verification of IEC 61850 communication services because their communication relation is the same as client and server throughout the digital network. This paper shows a research result on the testing method of basic communication interface of the IEC 61850 based client, which was implemented by the analysis of real communication between HMI and IED of IEC 61850 based substation automation system and refereed to IED IEC 61850 conformance test procedures.

본 논문에서는 ATM 통신프로토콜을 위한 자동시험시스템인 ACTS(ATM Conformance Test System)의 개발과 적용을 소개한다. ACTS는 ITU-T 또는 ATM Forum의 ATM 사용자-망 접속표준을 준용하는 ATM 단말과 망장비의 프로토콜적합성을 확인하는데 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 ACTS 개발에 사용된 방법을 소개한 뒤, ACTS를 실제 ATM 단말과 장비에 적용한 사례들을 소개한다. ACTS의 적용을 통하여 시험대상 장비들이 지닌 프로토콜구현상의 문제점을 파악하였고, 문제에 대한 원인분석을 수행하였다. 또한 이러한 문제점들이 상호운용에 미치는 장애를 예측함으로써, ACTS를 상호운용하는 ATM 장비를 확보하기 위한 유용한 도구로 사용할 수 있음을 보인다.Abstract This paper presents development and application of ACTS(ATM Conformance Test System), an automated test system for ATM protocols. ACTS is a test system that checks conformance of ATM terminal and network equipment implementing either ITU-T or ATM Forum user-network interface. This paper, after presenting the methodology and process used for developing ACTS, conducts case studies of its applications to real ATM equipment. By applying ACTS, we were able to detect numerous problems in protocol implementations of ATM equipment and analyse causes of the problems, thereby demonstrating the efficacy of ACTS as an efficient automated testing tool. Furthermore, by predicting the potential effects of the problems on interoperability, we show how ACTS can be used as a useful tool for ensuring interoperable ATM equipment.

The O-RAN Alliance is responsible for defining the technical and testing specifications of open radio access networks, aiming for openness, virtualization, and intelligence in these networks. Recently, the application of Korea Open Testing and Integration Center (OTIC) to this alliance has been approved, enabling the issuance of O-RAN certificates and badges. An OTIC plays a crucial role as a testing facility in performing conformance verification and interoperability tests for O-RAN functions and interfaces. In addition, it enables end-to-end system verification adhering to O-RAN principles and processes. These activities can substantially contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of domestic O-RAN products and activating the corresponding ecosystem. We comprehensively describe the O-RAN certification and badging processes. Additionally, we analyze end-to-end test cases that are essential for the proper deployment and operation of 5G systems including O-RANs.

The Single TTCN has been broadly used to describe the ATS(Abstract Test Suite) for the protocol confronance testing. But if the single TTCN is used to test the multi-party protocol with the non-deterministic factors, then huge amount of test notations are needed and also it is hard to understand the ATS. Therefore, the concurrent TTCN was proposed to solve these problems and the study in progress. In this paper, we did investigate and compare the characteristics of esisting single TTCN with those of the concurrent TTCN. In order to develop the ATS of the Q.2971 which is B-ISDN call/connection control protocol, the testing model was defined and the concurrent factors were extracted according to that model. As a result, we could verify the usefulness of the confcurrent TTCN.

본 논문은 형식 기술 기법 중의 하나인 LOTOS 명세로부터 적합성 시험 시퀀스를 자동 생성하는 방법을 기술한다. 전체적인 시스템 구현을 위해 현재까지 연구된 여러가지 알고리즘들을 응용하여 적용하였고, 또 Rural Chinese Postman tour 개념을 개선한 후 적용하였다. 통신 프로토콜에 대한 LOTOS 명세로부터 CAESAR 도구의 Petri-net을 통한 시뮬레이션 기능을 이용하여 해당상태 천이 그래프를 생성하고, 얻어진 상태 천이 그래프에 대해 적합성 시험 시퀀스를 생성하기 위해 주어진 그래프의 각 상태에 대한 유일한 시퀀스인 UE sequence(Unique Event sequence)를 정의하였다. 또한 이러한 UE 시퀀스가 존재하지 않는 상태에 대해서는 부분 UE sequence(Partial UE sequence) 및 signature를 정의하였고, 또 이러한 특성 시퀀스에 대한 경험적 연구 결과를 정리하였다. 한편, 최적의 시험 시퀀스 생성을 위해 얻어진 특성 시퀀스들을 Rural Chinese Postman tour 개념에 적용하는 방법론에 대해서도 제시하였다. 또 생성된 적합성 시험 시퀀스의 오류 판단 영역 예측 방법 및 과정과 결과에 대해서도 기술하였고, 얻어진 시험 시퀀스를 표준 시험 표준기법인 TTCN으로의 변화 방법론도 제시하였다. 마지막으로 제안된 생성방법론에 대한 프로토타입은 실제 통신 프로토콜에 적용하기 위해 실질적인 많은 부분을 고려하면서 실행시험 스우트 생성을 위해 구현되었고, 이 프로토타입은 지능망이나 PCS 또는 ATM 프로토콜을 위한 적합성 시험 목적으로 사용될 수 있다.
