The main purpose of this study is to examine the effect of doctors' patient-centered communication on patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes, and the mediating effect of patient participation between doctors' patient-centered communication and patient satisfaction, between doctors' patient-centered communication and treatment outcomes. For the purpose of this study's goal, the 339 samples for this empirical study were collected from general hospital outpatient in C. The results of this study are as follows, First, except prohibition factor there are positive effect careful listening factor, consideration factor on patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes. Second, there are positive effects of careful listening factor, consideration factor on emotional factor and informational factor, but there are no significant effect of prohibition factor on three factors of patient. Third, There are partial mediating effects of patient participation between doctors' patient-centered communication and patient satisfaction, between doctors' patient-centered communication and treatment outcomes. Last, based on the results of this study, we suggested implications for heighten the alternatives of patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes.

This study analyzed the differences of the sex-role attitude, communication, and marital satisfaction according to a demographic factors as well as analyzed the relationship of the effects on sex-role attitude(sex-role awareness, sex-capacity awareness), communication(close relationship, exclusive relationship, passive relationship), and marital satisfaction of elderly couples. The survey was conducted from June 20 to July 30, 2012 among the elderly couples aged 60 or older in the Gyeonggi-do areas, and 378 responses were used in the data analysis. The statistical analysis methods were frequency analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and hierarchical regression analysis. As a results, there were partially differences in the sex-role attitude, communication, and marital satisfaction. The sex-role awareness and sex-capacity awareness had a positive impact on close relationship and passive relationship of the communication. But the sex-capacity awareness had a negative impact on exclusive relationship of the communication. In addition, The sex-role awareness and close relationship had a positive impact on marital satisfaction, but exclusive relationship and passive relationship had a negative impact on marital satisfaction of elderly couples.

The purpose of this study is to examine how the causal relationships between independent variables, marital communication decision making participation and family life satisfaction of elderly in couple household. The survey was conducted from May 26 to July 21, 2003. Total 394(male: 186, female: 208) samples were used for the analysis. Using SPSS/PC WIN program, data were analyzed by frequencies, percentages, mean, standard deviation, Cronbach'a, Pearson's correlation, t-test, and multiple regression. The major findings were as follows: 1) The findings showed that there were high level of the communication between the elderly males and females. In the decision making participation the finding showed that both elderly males and females generally made joint decisions with no gender differences. The elderly males and females reported overall family life satisfaction; and the elderly males were more likely satisfied with their family lives than the elderly females. 2) The path analysis on family life satisfaction presented that several variables had direct/indirect effects on family life satisfaction through communication and decision making participation. Among the moderate variables, communication agreement and communication openness had significant effects on family life satisfaction. Specifically, the elderly men were more likely satisfied when they participated in decision making on leisure: the elderly women were more likely satisfied when they participated in decision making on family life.

This study is a descriptive research study to determine the mediating effect of anxiety in the relationship between patient care communication and patient satisfaction among hospitalized patients. Data was collected using self-administered questionnaires from October to December 2021. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multiple regression using the SPSS 24.0 program, and the effectiveness of the mediation effect was tested using the Sobel test. As a result of the study, there was a positive correlation between patient care communication and patient satisfaction, and a negative correlation between patient care communication and anxiety. And there was also a negative correlation between patient satisfaction and anxiety. In the relationship between patient care communication and patient satisfaction, anxiety had a partial mediating effect (z=2.93, p<.001), with an explanatory power of 38.4%. In order to improve patient satisfaction based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop a program that can improve nurses' patient care communication capabilities and reduce patients' anxiety.

This study discusses on the influential factors of satisfaction in communication by focusing on the political communication phenomenon that is revealed in our society. The acts of political communication and its communication satisfaction are examined by exploring individuals' political inclination and their media usage which are the main influential factors of political communication. An interview survey was conducted on a thousand adults over the age of nineteen who are residing in sixteen cities and provinces nationwide. As a result, a high rate of online media usage was observed among people with progressive political inclination. It showed that the political communication acts of 'writing/communicating' which indicates ons actively posting their personal opinions, has a positive influence on communication satisfaction. On the other hand, the usage of offline media was dominant over people with conservative and neutral political inclination. A passive act of 'reading/watching,' which is to observe other people's opinions, was shown by most of the interviewees. Therefore, it was able to discuss that in order for a harmonious flow of political communication among our society, the understanding of citizens' political characteristic must be preceded and the differentiated political communication using media must be raised accordingly.

Purpose - Once individuals in an organization don't comprehend with each other's culture and their interaction context differ, there is a bigger danger of poor communication in the organizations. Therefore, people must have a sufficiently comparable interpretation of data, communicative acts and the office itself. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between organizational culture and employee communication. Research design, Data, and methodology - The present researcher used categorization matrix development to review data for content. Additionally, the present researcher coded the data to correspond with the identified categories. The role of the categorization matrix is to ensure that the categories hardly represent the concepts and thus validating the findings of the study. Result - The findings from prior resources shows that the role of organizational culture on employee communication satisfaction is a pertinent issue that must be addressed and analyzed to help organizations make the desired profits and productivity. This study provides five solutions between organizational culture and employee communication satisfaction. Conclusion - This study concludes that every employee performs well where they think they are being appreciated and their efforts are rewarded. On the other hand, different organizations have instilled different organizational cultures to ensure they promote the level of satisfaction of their employees in order to yield them an improved employee performance and overall organizational performance.

The marketing literature suggests that personal relationships between customers and service providers influence consumers' evaluation of goods and services. In this paper, we investigate the effects of service providers' conversation types (non-physical communication) on customers' evaluation and satisfaction in conversation with service providers. The empirical results show that the non-physical communication affect consumers' satisfaction in communication with service providers. This implies that the non-physical communication could be considered as a strategic tool when corporations need to differentiate their services from competitors to gain an advantage in competition.

This study examined the variables that influence middle school students' level of life satisfaction and tested a hypothetical structural equation model relating the variables to middle school students' level of life satisfaction. The subjects were 2,829 (1,411 boys and 1,418 girls) pupils who participated in the Korean Survey on the Familial Consciousness of Youth and Parents (KSYC-Familial Consciousness) in 2010. Data were analyzed through frequency, percentages, Pearson's correlations using SPSS 18.0 and structural equation modeling with AMOS 7.0. The findings are as follows. The proposed model, as revised, demonstrated the effectiveness of an analysis of the structural equation model and illustrated that all three variables (fathers' parenting behavior, communication with fathers, self-concept) indicated a direct or indirect influence on middle school students' level of life satisfaction. Fathers' parenting behavior had the greatest total effect on middle school students' life satisfaction. Fathers' parenting behavior, communication with fathers and self-concept explained 59% of the total variance of middle school students' life satisfaction. The implications for future studies are also discussed.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the influence of positive interactions between the low-income female householders and children on the mothers'psychological well-being and quality of life. The major findings are as following: First, there were high level of life satisfaction and low level of depression among the low-income female householders who perceived high level of children's emotional support. The difference from the existence of the low-income female householder\`s husband was not found in the life satisfaction and depression. After controling for the low-income female householder's health, the differences were maintained. Second, the low-income female householders who communicated with their children open-heartedly felt higher level of life satisfaction and lower level of depression than those who had less communication with their children. The difference from the existence of the low-income female householder's husband was not found in the life satisfaction and depression. After controlling for the low-income female householder\`s educational level and health, the differences were maintained. finally, the low-income female householders felt higher level of life satisfaction and lower level of depression when they listened to their children closely, and were satisfied with mother-child communication.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare communication competence, nursing professionalism, work environment and job satisfaction between outpatient nurses and ward nurses, and to identify the correlation among variables. Methods: The participants were 90 outpatient nurses and 98 ward nurses at the two general hospitals. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2-test$, independent t-test and Pearson's correlation coefficient. Results: There were statistically significant differences between two groups in nursing professionalism, possibilities for development, commitment to the workplace, social support from colleagues, social community at work and job satisfaction, outpatient nurses showed higher level than ward nurses except commitment to the workplace. The work environment variables and nurses' job satisfaction were mostly correlated. Job satisfaction showed significant negatively correlated with quantitative demands, emotional demands and role conflicts in both groups nurses. Conclusion: These findings showed that nursing work environments were the most important factor for job satisfaction of both group nurses. Therefore, it is necessary to put efforts in improving nursing work environment and to develop diverse strategies for human resource management.
