Purpose: This study aims to identify the relationship between nursing students' social anxiety and communication ability, and in particular, to determine the mediating effect of self-efficacy. Methods: A total of 187 nursing students enrolled at four universities in Korea completed surveys between August and September 2020. The measurements included the Global Interpersonal Communication Competence Scale, self-efficacy scales, and interaction anxiousness scales. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, an independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, multiple regression following the Baron and Kenny method, and bootstrapping for mediation. Results: Communication ability was significantly negatively correlated with social anxiety (r=-.61, p<.001) and significantly positively correlated with self-efficacy (r=.77, p<.001). Furthermore, self-efficacy had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between social anxiety and communication ability. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that communication ability can be improved if individual characteristics such as social anxiety and self-efficacy are considered. Therefore, when developing communication ability improvement programs for nursing students in the future, it is considered important to actively consider these personal characteristics.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to construct and test a structural model of nursing students' performing communication skills. Methods: The data collection was conducted from October 13 to October 20, 2020. The participants were 286 students from nursing colleges located in three cities. The data analysis method was a covariance structure analysis with using IBM SPSS statistics version 23.0 and AMOS 21.0 statistical programs. Results: The hypothetical model showed a proper fit with the data: root mean square error of approximation=.08, standardized root mean square residual=.06, adjusted goodness of fit=.85, normed fit index=.91, and comparative fit index=.94. The model fit indices were normed to fit index=2.96. Statistically significant explanatory variables for the performing communication skills of nursing students were peer support, emotional intelligence, ethical sensitivity, and communication self-efficacy. The variables accounted for 66.1% of the performing communication skills of nursing students. Conclusion: Based on the above results, it appears necessary to develop strategies for improving the performing communication skills of nursing students, and having positive effects on health outcomes of the subjects by considering the variables of peer support, emotional intelligence, ethical sensitivity, and communication self-efficacy. Such strategies could potentially have positive effects on the health outcomes of the patients.

China's intangible cultural heritage at the national level amounts to more than 1,500 species, and it is also the country with the largest number of items on UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage list, so the intangible cultural heritage of the country and mankind is very much treasured and cared for. However, with the development of the times, many intangible cultural heritages are facing a dilemma due to the problem of a single form of communication. However, at the same time, the efficient and convenient way of information visualization provides innovative ideas and new opportunities for the visual communication of Chinese intangible cultural heritage. This paper examines the formal characteristics of infographic visual expression on the theoretical basis of books and related papers and analyzes the application cases and advantages of infographics in the communication of Chinese intangible cultural heritage in the context of the present era. It aims to explore a fast and novel visual presentation method for the communication of Chinese intangible cultural heritage through infographic design methods, to promote the inheritance and development of Chinese intangible cultural heritage in the new era.

In this study, an adapted Turbo Coding Algorithm for reducing communication error of a fire detection system for marine vessels, especially image transmission via power lone. Because it is necessary that this system communicate larger and faster than previous method, this study carried out enhancement a decoding speed by adaptation CRC with Turbo Code Algorithm, improvement of metric method, and reduction of decoding delay by using of Center-to-Top method. And the results are as follows: (1) Confirmed that a Turbo Code is so useful methods for reducing communication error in lots of noise environments. (2)Proposed technology in this study speed increasing method of Turbo Coding Algorithm proves 2 times faster than normal Turbo Code and communication error reducing as well in the board made by VHDL software & chips ALTERA company.

Objectives: This study addressed the relationship among communication skill, job satisfaction, and mental health level. Methods: The participants in this study were 222 public health center staff members at 9 community public health centers located in Seoul city and Gyeonggi province. Descriptive analysis, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression were used for statistical analysis of the data. Results: The main findings are as follows: First, communication skill and job satisfaction showed a significant positive correlation with mental health level. Secondly, some components of mental health level generally showed positive correlations with communication skill and job satisfaction. Third, multiple regression showed that 22% of the variance in the mental health level was explained. Conclusions: Based on these results of this study, we suggested that specialized programs should be established to help in development of social arbitration for public health center staff.

해저광케이블은 대양을 횡단하는 국제통신의 대부분을 처리하고 있는 중요한 정보통신 전달매체이다. 하지만 이러한 해저광케이블 고장 발생시 막대한 수리 비용은 물론, 국제적 국가 신뢰도 추락, 통신 소통의 두절로 많은 어려움과 손실을 초래한다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 해저케이블 안정성을 위한 방안을 도출하고자 국내외 해저광케이블 현황 및 고장원인을 분석한 후 고장 예방을 위한 기법과 해저시설 사용자간 보호 규정 마련을 제시하고자 한다.

In this paper, we presetn the WWW (world-wide-web) base dtelePACS, which uses the communication network as asymmetric satellite data communication system (ASDCS). Web-based telePACS is imple-mented with JAVA language. Through the internet, web-based TelePACS can make it possible for remote hospital or doctor to access PACS data and information easily and cheaply. The ASDCS uses receive-only satellite links for data delivery and PSTN (Public switched telephone Network) modem or N-ISDN (narrow band integrate services digital network) for communication. The satellite communication linking shows the very high-seed performance such as 10-30 times faster than the modem linking.To solve the speed limits of internet, JPEG and wavelet compression methods were adapted in WWW-based TelePACS and were evaluated by PSNR (peak signal-to-noise ratio) and by radiological experts that 10:1 or less JPEG and wavelet compression may be acceptable for diagnostic purposes. Consequently, we get the conslusion that our system is suitable for tele-radiology and telemedicine world widely.

Purpose: This study was to investigate the effects of a family nursing practicum using role play on emotional intelligence, communication ability, and family nursing performance of nursing students. Methods: Role play training was provided to nursing students who took a community health nursing practicum (family nursing practicum). During the course for 2 weeks, participants were given role play practice for four times and a final test using role play at the end of the course. Data were collected from 52 nursing students before and after the family nurse practicum who agreed to participate in this study. Results: The scores of emotional intelligence, communication ability, and family nursing performance at post test were enhanced significantly compared to the scores at pre test. Conclusion: Nursing educators in family nursing can consider role play to improve emotional intelligence and communication ability as well as family nursing performance.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate factors that influence maturity fears in elementary school girls. Methods: The participants were 118 3rd and 4th grade students from 3 elementary schools in 3 cities in Korea. Data were collected using questionnaires which included measurement scales for the relative variables and demographic data. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchial regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results: The significant predictors of maturity fears were weight, father-child communication, frequency of maturity communication with father, and close relation with mother. Conclusion: For effective management of maturity fears in elementary school girls, programs including weight control, functional communication with father and supportive nurturance of mother should be developed.

At present, the fabrication of optical filter for optical communication mostly depends on handwork, and only a few companies are propelling semi-automatic systems compounded with automatic and hand-operated methods. The measurement evaluation of optical filters is not commonly useful, so it causes difficulties in the producing field. And the packaging process becomes a very unstable process because the filters are judged from the results that they are not measured and immediately packaged during that process. In this situation, the automatic assembly system of optical filter for communication is extremely important and has begun to make its appearance as the most necessary technology for developing optical communication component with high-functionality. In this paper, we constructed systems of assembly and performance evaluation for micro optical collimator. And by using that, we designed a system capable of performance evaluation and assembly of film filter of about 30 $\mu\textrm{m}$ thickness as well as optical filter for common communication.
