Multi shell graphite coated Ag nano particles with core/shell structure were successfully synthesized by pulsed wire evaporation (PWE) method. Ar and $CH_4$ (10 vol.%) gases were mixed in chamber, which played a role of carrier gas and reaction gas, respectively. Graphite layers on the surface of silver nano particles were coated indiscretely. However, the graphite layers are detached, when the particles are heated up to $250^{\circ}C$ in the air atmosphere. In contrast, the graphite coated layer was stable under Ar and $N_2$ atmosphere, though the core/shell structured particles were heated up to $800^{\circ}C$. The presence of graphite coated layer prevent agglomeration of nanoparticles during heat treatment. The dispersion stability of the carbon coated Ag nanoparticles was higher than those of pure Ag nanoparticles.

This paper challenges the fabrication of a thin film energy storage device on a flexible polymer substrate specifically by replacing most commonly used metal foil current collectors with coated current collectors. Mass-manufacturable spray-coating technology enables the fabrication of two different half-cell electric double layer capacitors (EDLC) with a spray-coated silver paste current collector and a Ni foil current collector. The larger specific capacitances of the half-cell EDLC with the spray-coated silver current collector are obtained as 103.86 F/g and 76.8 F/g for scan rates of 10 mV/s and 500 mV/s, respectively. Further, even though the half-cell EDLC with the spray-coated current collector is heavier than that with the Ni foil current collector, smaller Warburg impedance and contact resistance are characterized from Nyquist plots. For the applied voltages ranging from -0.5 V to 0.5 V, the spray-coated thin film energy storage device exhibits a better performance.
Recently High Temperature Superconductor(HTS) Tape is limelight of the applied superconducting machines. Mainly used superconducting tape are BSCCO tape and YBCO coated tape. These superconducting tape are applied such as SMES, superconducting generator and MAGLEV. Actually superconductor tape's experimental gauge is short. For this reason, experiment was conducted. Firstly length of 50cm BSCCO, YBCO Coated conductor@Cu and YBCO coated conductor@sus are prepared. and flow the over-current. Secondly, BSCCO and Coated conductor connected with lenth of 25cm and flow the over-current. Coupled line of HTS tape was compared with single line of HTS tape and these overcurrent characteristics was investigated.
YBCO coated conductor, also called the 2nd generation high temperature superconducting wire, consists of oxide multi-layer hetero-epitaxial thin films. Pulsed laser deposition (PLD) is one of many film deposition methods used to make coated conductor, and is the one known to be the best to make superconducting layer so far. As a part of the effort to make long length coated conductor, the optimum deposition condition of YBCO film on single crystal substrate (SrTiO3) was investigated using PLD. Substrate temperature, oxygen partial pressure, and laser fluence were varied to find the best combination to grow high quality YBCO film.
This paper investigated into process characteristics of AlTiN coated layers for machining to the direction of upper and lower in plastic mold material (KP-4) with the cemented carbide ball endmill with the diameter of 8mm coated AlTiN layers (1~4) step by step using machining center. The material used in experiments was KP-4 that was machined by three types of inclined angles; $15^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$ and $45^{\circ}$ As estimated mechanical properties of AlTiN coated layers, it was shown the most result in the condition of three layered coating that the coating that the coating depth, the hardness of the coated layer and the surface roughness of the coated layer were $13{\mu}m$, Hv 3027.3 and $0.042{\mu}m$, respectively. The cutting component was better at the condition of upper direction than that of lower direction in all experimental conditions and indicated to be less which the bigger angle of the material was increased the effective diameter of the tool.
Ethylcellulose-PEG 4000 film coated on core tablets was investigated as a potential drug delivery system for the controlled release of chlorpheniramine maleate (CPM). The kinetic analysis of the release data indicated that CPM release followed a diffusion-controlled model, where the quantity released per unit area is proportional to the square root of time. The effect of the film composition, CPM concentration, plasticizer concentration and CPM solubility on the release characteristics were examined. The release rate constant increased as CPM concentration increased. It also increased as the PEG 4000 content in the film increased above 10%(w/w), however, it decreased as the PEG 4000 content increased in the concentration range below 10%(w/w). The release rate constant was not affected by the coated weight on the core tablet. The film-coated tablets which contain CPM only in the coated film layer seemed to be a potential oral drug delivery system for the controlled release of CPM.
For mechanical and electrical stability and environment protection, Cu and stainless steel stabilizer is laminated to Ag layer to produce a composite neutral-axis(N-A) architecture in which the YBCO layer is centered between the oxide buffered metallic substrate and stabilizer strip lamination. this architecture allows the wire to meet operational requirements including stresses at cryogenic temperature, winding tensions, mechanical bending requirements thermal and electrical stability under fault conditions. we have experimentally studied mechanical properties of laminated stainless steel stabilizer on YBCO coated conductors. we have laminated YBCO coated conductors by continuous dipping soldering process. we have investigated lamination interface between solder and stabilizer, YBCO coated conductor. we evaluated bonding properties tensile / shear bonding strength, peeling strength laminated YBCO coated conductors.

Eutectic reactions of five kinds of Cr-coated Zr alloy cladding with different base materials (Zr-Nb-Sn alloy or Zr-Nb alloy), different coating thicknesses (6~22.5 mm), and different coating materials (Cr single layer or Cr/CrN bilayer) were studied using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). The DSC experiments demonstrated that the onset temperatures of the Cr single layer coated specimens were almost identical to ~1308 ℃, regardless of base materials or coating thicknesses. This study demonstrated that the Cr/CrN bilayer coated Zr-Nb-Sn alloy has a slightly (~10 ℃) higher eutectic onset temperature compared to the single Cr-coated specimen. The eutectic region characterized by post-eutectic microstructure proportionally increases with coating thickness. The post-eutectic characterization with different holding times at high temperature (1310-1330 ℃) reveals that progression of Zr-Cr eutectic requires time, and it dramatically changed with exposure time and temperature. The practical value of the time gain in non-instantaneous eutectic formation in terms of safety margin, however, seems to be limited.
