치위생과 학생의 감성지능 및 자아탄력성과 임상실습 스트레스와의 관련성 (Relationships among emotional intelligence, ego resilience, stress in clinical practice of dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between emotional intelligence, ego resilience and stress in clinical practice of dental hygiene students. Methods: The data were analyzed by the frequency analysis, t-test, one way ANOVA, and Duncan post-hoc analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis using SPSS 21.0. The subjects were 278 dental hygiene students in a college in Gyeongsangnam-do from June 20 to 30, 2016. Results: Self-emotional appraisal $5.13{\pm}0.94$, Ego resilience $2.69{\pm}0.38$, practice education environment $3.45{\pm}0.65$ were above average. ego resilience was significantly different according to satisfaction with dental hygiene students as a grade, satisfaction in clinical practice. Stress in clinical practice was significantly different according to grade, duration of clinical practice, satisfaction with dental hygiene students as a grade, satisfaction in clinical practice, main tutor in clinical practice. Conclusions: It is necessary to develop the program that can help increase the emotional intelligence, ego resilience, and apply such program to the curricula.

임상간호사의 업무스트레스와 간호업무수행 (Work Stress and Nursing Performance of Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the work stress and nursing performance of clinical nurses' and to identify relationship between work stress and nursing performance. Method: This descriptive study queried 316 clinical nurses, selected by convenient sampling from four hospitals. Demographic characteristics, work stress and Nursing performance were measured. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA were performed to identify relationship between work stress and nursing performance on SPSS WIN 10.0. Result: The study subjects reported that the younger they were, the higher work stress they experienced and the lower nursing performance they behaviored. Also, the longer they worked as a nurse, the lower work stress they experienced and the higher nursing performance they hehaviored. The nurses working at ICU experienced more work stress. The nurses working at pediatric ward reported higher nursing performance. The married nurses' nursing performance was higher than unmarried nurses'. There was significant negative correlation between work stress and nursing performance among nurses. Conclusion: These results suggest that the nurse who experience higher work stress couldn't perform optimistic leveled nursing performance. Strategic planning for nursing administer and avoidance of work stress were discussed.

임상간호사의 자기효능감, 영적안녕 및 직무스트레스와의 관계 (The Relationships among Self-Efficacy, Spiritual Well-Being, and Job Stress in Clinical Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was to identify the extent of and the relationships among self-efficacy, spiritual well-being, and job stress in clinical nurses. Methods: The subjects were 201 clinical nurses from three different general hospitals in B city. Data were collected from May 26 to August 9, 2012 and analyzed by using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Sheff$\acute{e}$ test, and Partial correlation coefficients. Results: The mean scores of self-efficacy, spiritual well-being, and job stress were moderate, 3.50, 3.58, and 3.44 respectively. There were statistically significant relationships between marital status, influence of religion, the number of night shifts per month, motives for choosing nursing as a career, job satisfaction and self-efficacy. Spiritual well-being was found to be significantly related to all participants' general characteristics, and job stress was significantly related to marital status and type of religion. There was a significantly weak positive correlation between self-efficacy and spiritual well-being, and a weak negative correlation between self-efficacy and job stress. There was no significant correlation between job stress and spiritual well-being. Conclusion: This study suggests that effective strategies to foster spiritual well-being is needed to enhance clinical nurses' self-efficacy, which should equip clinical nurses to better deal with job stress in their work places.

간호대학생의 COVID-19에 대한 지식, 불안, 간호전문직관이 임상실습 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of COVID-19 Knowledge, Anxiety, and Nursing Professionalism on Clinical Practicum Stress among Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study sought to identify the levels of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) knowledge, anxiety, nursing professionalism, and clinical practicum stress, and the factors influencing this stress in nursing students. Methods: A cross-sectional and descriptive study was conducted with the participation of 140 junior and senior nursing students recruited from three nursing colleges in Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do. Data analysis was performed using independent t-tests, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 26.0 program. Results: The study arrived at a mean score of 63.18±13.89 for clinical practicum stress, which showed a significant difference based on the perceived health status and reasons for admission to nursing school. Anxiety and professionalism exhibited a noteworthy correlation with clinical practicum stress. The significant predictors of clinical practicum stress among nursing students were perceived health status (β=.39, p<.001), anxiety (β=.25, p=.033), and the reasons for admission to nursing school (β=.17, p=.012). The total explanatory power of these variables was 23.0% (F=6.28, p<.001). Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to provide effective education to promote nursing professionalism during a pandemic. It is also necessary to develop and include various programs in the curriculum that strategically intervene to prevent anxiety in pre-service nurses. This would reduce the stress in the clinical practice of nursing students when faced with new infectious diseases in the future.

간호대학생의 취업스트레스에 미치는 영향요인 (The Factors Influencing Employment Stress of Nursing Students)

  • 간호대학생들의 임상실습 스트레스 및 전공만족도, 취업스트레스 간의 관계를 파악하고 취업스트레스에 미치는 영향을 확인하여, 간호 대학생들의 스트레스를 감소시키는 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 서술적 조사연구로서 2014년 8월부터 12월까지 연구목적을 이해하고 참여에 동의한 자로 설문조사에 응답한 대전, 진주, 나주 지역에 소재하고 있는 간호학과에 재학중인 간호학과 학생 388명을 대상으로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 및 결론: 간호대학생의 취업스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인은 임상실습 스트레스 및 전공만족도, 경제적 상태이었고 설명력은 23.8%이었다. 그러므로 간호대학생의 임상실습 스트레스를 감소하기 위한 사전 실습환경 적응 교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용이 필요하고 취업률이 높은 간호학과이더라도 원하는 병원의 취업이 쉽지 않고 병원 취업이 결정되어도 국가고시 합격이라는 부담감이 있는 간호학생을 대상으로 한 상담 등의 관리 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

한방 임상연구 실무자들의 직무 및 스트레스에 관한 연구 (A Study on Job and Stress of Staffs in Clinical Research of Oriental Medicine)

  • 1. Objectives: In this research, job and stress of the staffs who is working on clinical trial of oriental medicine involved in the project of Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine (KIOM) was identified. And an efficient way to enhance the working ability of clinical trial of oriental medicine was developed by recognizing the relationship of job satisfaction, organizational commitment and job performance with their stress. 2. Methods: A survey was conducted on 18 staffs in 12 hospitals who is working in the project of The construction of constitutional information collecting system for the scientification of Sasang Constitution. The collected data was analyzed with computer software of SPSS 17.0 3. Results: The research results are as follows: 1. The staffs of clinical trial of oriental medicine responded that they want to receive the rewards for their work with a salary, and they felt that through clinical demonstration followed by SOP and front face photograph are the most difficult works in clinical trial of oriental medicine. 2. Permanent workers showed higher organizational commitment than temporary workers in the relationship of job satisfaction, organizational commitment and job performance with general characteristics(p=0.026). 3. In the relationship of job stress with general characteristics, the workers who are higher than college graduates had dissatisfaction in salary with the highest frequency(p=.004), and the workers whose monthly salary is higher than 2 millions won showed the lowest job stress(p=.021). 4. In the relationship of job satisfaction, organizational commitment and job performance with job stress, as job apprehension stress is increased, job performance is dramatically decreased(p=.027). And as improper salary stress is increased, job satisfaction and organizational commitment is dramatically decreased (p=.018, p=.050). 4. Conclusions: It was clearly evidenced that job satisfaction, organizational commitment and job performance is closely related with stress of the staffs who is working on clinical trial of oriental medicine. And it is highly recommended that the improvement of working condition and the decrease of job stress can enhance the working ability of them.

간호대학생의 의사소통능력, 우울 및 임상실습 스트레스와의 관계 (Relationship of Communication Skill, Depression, and Clinical Practice Stress of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호 대학생의 의사소통능력, 우울과 임상실습 스트레스를 파악하고, 임상실습 스트레스와의 관련요인을 분석하고자 시도되었다. 대상자는 B시에 소재한 간호 대학생 208명이며, 자료수집기간은 2017년 9월 1일부터 2017년 9월 30일까지였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 21을 이용하여 기술통계, t-tset, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, Stepwise multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 간호 대학생이 경험하는 의사소통능력은 5점 만점의 평균평점 3.74점이며, 우울은 4점 만점의 평균평점이 2.36점이며, 임상실습 스트레스는 5점 만점의 평균평점 2.88점으로 나타났다. 대상자의 제 특성에 따른 임상실습 스트레스 정도는 성별 (p=.002), 나이 (p=.048), 학년 (p=.001), 대학만족도 (p<.001), 전공만족도 (p=.002), 희망진로(p=.002), 실습만족도 (p<.001)에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 대상자의 의사소통능력과 임상실습 스트레스는 역 상관관계를 보였고 (r=-.17, p=.016), 우울과 임상실습 스트레스는 상관관계를 보였으며 (r=.37, p<.001), 임상실습 스트레스에 유의한 영향을 주는 요인은 우울, 실습 만족도, 학년, 성별이었고, 전체 26.9%의 설명력을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 그 결과, 간호 대학생의 임상 실습스트레스를 최소화하기 위하여 우울을 예방하고 완화하며 의사소통능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 중재 프로그램 개발이 필요하다고 사료된다.

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상실습 스트레스, 임상실습만족도, 임상수행능력과 간호전문직의 연관성을 파악하고 이들 변수간의 관계를 파악하는 서술적 상관관계 연구로써, 4년제 간호 대학생 240명 대상으로 하여 수행하였다. 임상수행능력(F=1.888, p=.048)과 간호전문직관(F=1.976, p=.046)의 경우 전공만족정도에 따라서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이를 사후 검정한 결과 전공에 만족한다는 집단이 보통인 집단, 불만족하는 집단보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 간호전문직관의 경우 전공에 만족한다는 집단이 불만족하는 집단보다 높은 것으로 나타났으며 임상실습스트레스는 간호전문직관에 영향을 미치는 변수였고,41%로 설명되었다. 본 연구에서는 간호대학생의 임상실습 스트레스, 임상실습만족도, 임상수행능력과 간호전문직관의 정도를 분석한 결과에 따르면 간호전문직에 유의한 영향을 주는 요인임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이에 따라 임상실습 중에 경험하는 스트레스정도가 임상실습의 수행능력에도 영향을 미치는데, 스트레스를 받으면서 임상실습에 임하는 것은 중요한 실습을 하기 어려울 뿐만 아니라 실수를 범할 수 있고, 실수로 인하여 임상실습의 스트레스가 또다시 발생하게 된다. 따라서 앞으로 간호 대학생의 임상실습 스트레스를 감소시킬 수 있는 중재프로그램을 개발이 필요함을 알 수 있다.

병원형태별 치과위생사가 임상실습 과정 중 실습생으로부터 경험하게 되는 스트레스 요인에 관한 연구 (A study on stress factors in dental hygienists caused by students in clinical practice by pattern of hospital)

  • Objectives : The research was performed to be used as basic data for dental hygienists' job satisfaction during clinical practice, and planning and operating effective clinical practice by analyzing stress factors in dental hygienists and the extent of stress caused by students in clinical practice. Methods : The research was aimed at dental hygienists working at college dental hospitals, dental clinic of general hospitals, dental hospitals and dental clinics located in Seoul and Gyeonggi province where clinical practices were conducted for dental hygiene students. For analysis, collected data was analyzed by using SPSS 20.0. Results : Results derived from analysis on characteristic difference by pattern of hospital were observed that there was a significant difference in job satisfaction by pattern of hospital. Results from analysis on correlation among stress factors were observed that there was correlation between behavior and attitude, interpersonal relationships, role and activity, ideal and value, and treatment fields. Results derived from analysis on the effect of stress factors on the job satisfaction were observed that role and activity (p=.002<.01), ideal and value (p=.019<.05), and treatment fields (p=.032<.05) affected the job satisfaction, while behavior and attitude (p=.386>.05), and interpersonal relationships ((p=.421>.05) did not affect the job satisfaction. A stress factor, role and activity (${\beta}$=.350) affected the job satisfaction the most, followed by ideal and value (${\beta}$=.242), and treatment fields (${\beta}$=-.185). For the explanation ability, the stress factors accounted for 20.5% of the job satisfaction. Conclusions : In conclusion, most of the dental hygienists are satisfied with students' clinical practice by pattern of hospital. Positive correlation was shown between stress factors. Behavior and attitude and ideal and value are high in stress in college dental hospitals, role and activity and treatment fields are high in stress in dental hospital, and interpersonal relationships are high in stress in dental clinics.

한국 간호대학생의 스트레스 측정도구 개발 (Development of a Stress Scale for Korean Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a stress measurement scale for Korean nursing students. Methods: Sixty preliminary items were selected by classifying 229 basic items extracted via literature review and Q-sorting method. In order to verify the reliability and validity of the preliminary instrument, data were collected from 617 nursing students in 2 colleges of nursing in Korea. Results: As a result of the item analysis, 58 items were selected. They consisted of 2 types of stress which were college-based stress (38 items) and clinical-based stress (20 items). Ten factors in college-based stress and four factors in clinical-based stress were extracted by factor analysis, and each had a total variance of 63.01%, and 64.93%. Cronbach's Alpha of those 58 items were .937 in college-based stress and .922 in clinical-based stress, which was high. Conclusion: This paper is meaningful in a way that it has developed a tool capable of measuring stress for nursing students, which reflects the characteristics of our country. It is recommended for further study to re-verify the relevance and stability of this measurement.
