The Interaction is an important factor in classroom. Existing interaction analysis method has been analysed between teacher and students only language-centered. In this paper, we developed an ICT based interaction analysis system to analyse interaction of ICT including language-centered and analysed interaction of class through FIACS and ICT-FIACS. This system consists of ten kinds of classification items and analysis indexes. In order to comparative analyse between ICT-FIACS and FIACS, we analysed interaction of ICT in six grade classroom at elementary school. In result of analysis, ICT utilization index (63.62%), teachers of ICT utilization index (57.71%) and students of ICT utilization (42.29%) were analysed. Through this system, interaction of ICT can be analysed as well as language-centered interaction in ICT based Classroom.

In this study, we suggest the standards for future mathematics classroom from environment, teachers, and students aspects. Future mathematics classroom should have the three environmental standards that perform responsible roles and appropriate functions of physical resources and classroom space. In the teacher standards' domain, we presented as a total of eight kinds. Concretely, we proposed the four standards for improvement of mathematical teacher's instructional expertise and the four standards for improvement of abilities of learners. The students standards consist of 4 domain a such as 3 standards of mathematical investigation and problem solving, 3 standards of cooperation and communication, 1 standard of utilization and operation of mathematical technologies and learning support systems, 2 standard of digital ethics and citizenship. Also, we developed the mathematical convergence instruction model and reported the results of its application after the lessons conducted in the classroom equipped with advanced environmental and technologies. We presented the convergence instruction model and scenarios focused on thoughts and actions of teachers and students in the future mathematics classroom.

The newly revised mathematics curriculum in 2009 mentioned the mathematics specified classroom. All schools in the secondary school will implement Mathmatics Subject Class System by 2014. Expecing to extend the mathematics specified classroom to the elementary school, this study explores the direction how to configurate and use it. On the ground of previous research on mathematics laboratory and mathematics subject class system, this study makes questionnaire and survey recognition and opinions about mathematics room in the elementary school with elementary school teachers. Based on the result of analysis of questionnaire, this study suggests math cultural experience room, room for mathematical recreation, mathematics specified classroom as the main functions of elementary mathematics room, and utilization of mathematics room to perform such functions. This study provides suggestions about elementary mathematics room differentiated from mathematics subject class system in the secondary school.

This study aims at revealing utilization planning by surveying and analyzing unused classrooms of primary schools' facilities between Japan and Korean. Focused on high and multi-functionization, rather qualitative aspect than quantitative. Various and positive utilization planning of unused classrooms are needed. In Japan, unused classrooms of primary schools have already appeared in urban and rural area together. However it has been presented the effective utilization of these facilities even though many schools have tried using those. With these circumstances, Educational Authorities in Japan have researched the utilization methods of these facilities to use as supporting facilities for school education, management and opening to regional communities. Also, they are promoting to refer each school to a guide handbook for unused classrooms. Therefore, this study with some cases between Japan and Korean should be valuable data for effective use and planning of our cases.

This study was carried out to investigate consciousness of users about management of multipurpose space introduced in open planned elementary school after the year of 1990's. Thirteen open planned elementary schools were participated through questionnaire and interviews. As the results, the positive response was maintained a superior position in the need of multipurpose space and changes of classroom management. Independence type in the arrangement of multipurpose space and the additional corridor type having extra moving line in comparison with the extensional corridor type were remarkably preferred, respectively. The consciousness of utilization about multipurpose space was comparatively low in a type having traffic line in surroundings of classroom compared to a type having entrance or a type having roundabout corridor. Finally, the group accepting changes positively showed high need to solve urgent problems about management of classroom.

The purpose of this study is to present a block type smart classroom model for comprehensive supply of educational contents, classroom environment and ICT technology in African countries where educational infrastructure is weak. It will provide a contextual solution that integrates learning management, power management, and classroom environment management systems, and will be a convergence model that can optimize economic and non-economic conditions for different African countries. It can be expected to enhance utilization as it is a differentiated model from existing classrooms with a single container, as well as independent research and development centered on services, content, and solutions. Through this integrated research process, we can overcome the spatial and functional limitations appearing in single container classrooms and build a flexible space for advanced e-learning technology. The depth and scope of the follow-up study can be carried by investigating the performance and models that are in line with the educational and infrastructure conditions of the various regions.

The revised mathematics education curriculum in 2007 decided to introduce mathematics workbooks to the textbook system, which were supplemental textbooks to support mathematics teachers' teaching and students' learning in level-based classroom. This study is to find the field status whether the middle school mathematics workbooks are currently used in the school to be in line with the original intention and purpose and to discuss the improvement direction and effective utilization idea which modification and amendment shall be made for the effective utilization in the field. To achieve the goal of this study, the inquiry survey was made from 75 middle school teachers of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade in the middle schools where the moving classing for each level(or class in each level)has been performed with provision of the questionnaire sheet for the understanding of the teachers for the utilization status of the mathematics workbook to solve such study task.

In this paper, we describe two exploratory examples in the use of Augmented Reality (AR) for geographical visualization regarding refinement of visual content in geography textbooks and learning motivation of geography students. Currently, teaching and learning materials with AR technology and their utilization in the geography classroom have become a new topic in geographical research themes, and this trend has increased. Adequate development and utilization of geographical materials is an important starting point for smart education research in geography. This paper describes the system and software, and the implication of marker AR applications for teaching and learning geography in the classroom. For the AR applications to be utilized in geography education, two marker based AR examples, virtual globe and visualization of topographical features, are presented and their utilization aspects are discussed. Finally, from the discussion stated in this paper, it can be inferred that AR is useful for exploring geographical materials, and marker based AR will contribute to progress in spatial science and geographical education research.

This study is a literature study that analyzes empirical case study of Flipped learning application which has emerged as a method of future university education in Korea. The purpose of the study is to explore the use of digital media by learners in the Flipped learning applied courses in domestic universities considering current digital-based media environment. For this purpose, we analyzed the measurement variables and statistical significance of the preceding studies and analyzed the media utilization. The most important measurement variables were 'learning achievement' and 'class satisfaction', which were measures of effectiveness on the Flipped learning classes. All studies analyzed used media, but most studies focused on verifying the effectiveness of classroom classes, resulting in separate media utilization measurements in one study and statistically meaningful results for the 'video learning recognition' variable. The qualitative measurement related to the use of media for each study was presented as a separate analysis result. In the future, in order for effective follow-up studies on application of Flipped learning and digital media utilization, there are five main issues that need to be studied, which are securing the necessary treatment period for accurate effect measurement, etc.

The study is focused on making space of the abolished primary school for college dormitory in rural area which has regional type nearby city. We, firstly, analysed regional conditions and then surveyed various data for space conditions of dormitory. By surveying exterior space and interior renovation, and analysing the actual conditions of dormitory, we propose design factors and model of using facilities of the abolished primary school. So, the purpose of it is to suggest making space and a model of dormitory utilization of abolished school in regional type nearby city. It is a spacial case of re-using facilities of abolished school in rural area, but we expect that abolished school make an offer another type of using facilities.
