  • In the present paper we introduce a new subclass of analytic functions in the unit disc defined by convolution $(f_{\mu})^{(-1)}*f(z)$; where $$f_{\mu}=(1-{\mu})z_2F_1(a,b;c;z)+{\mu}z(z_2F_1(a,b;c;z))^{\prime}$$. Several interesting properties of the class and integral preserving properties of the subclasses are also considered.

  • The class $R_{\gamma-1,p}(A,B,\alpha)$ for $-1 \leq B < A \leq 1,\gamma > (B -1)p+(A_B)(p-\alpha)/1-B$ and $0 \leq \alpha < p$ consisting of p-valently analytic functions in the open unit disc is defined with the help of convolution technique. We study containment property, integral transforms and a sufficient condition for an analytic function to be in $R_{\gamma-1,p}(A,B,\alpha)$.

  • In the present paper, a new analytic function valued integral operator is introduced which is defined on n-copies of a subset of the class of normalized analytic functions on the unit disc of the complex plane. This operator, which is denoted here by $\mathfrak{J}^{{\alpha}_i,{\beta}_i}(f_1,{\ldots},f_n)$, unifies and generalizes several integral operators studied earlier. Interesting sufficient conditions are derived for the univalent starlikeness of $\mathfrak{J}^{{\alpha}_i,{\beta}_i}(f_1,{\ldots},f_n)$.

  • A scheduler for a class of Factory Automation (FA) systems is suggested. The technique of Timed Petri Nets is used to model FA systems and, a new concept called Unit Timed Petri Nets is proposed to schedule the system. The scheduler consists of two parts, scheduling rules and input jobs. Since flexibility should be an indispensable ingredient of the scheduler for FA systems, the method using Timed Petri Nets is adopted to represent scheduling rules in a simple and systematic manner and the scheduler is implemented with the PROLOG language. The proposed scheduler is applied to the realistic problem of flow shop.

  • The object of this paper to construct a new class $$A^m_{{\mu},{\lambda},{\delta}}({\alpha},{\beta},{\gamma},t,{\Psi})$$ of bi-univalent functions of complex order defined in the open unit disc. The second and the third coefficients of the Taylor-Maclaurin series for functions in the new subclass are determined. Several special consequences of the results are also indicated.

  • In this paper we shall consider function p(z) analytic in the open unit circle D and the solutions y(z) of the differential equation y"(Z) + p(z)y(z) = 0. (1.1) The ratio f(z) = u(z)/v(z) of any two independent solutions u(z) and v(z) of (1.1) will be function f(z), meromorphic in D with only simple poles, and such that f'(z) (equation omitted) 0. We shall say that a meromorphic function which satisfies these two condition belongs to the restricted class.(omitted)

  • We evaluate the sum of certain class of generalized hypergeometric series of unit argument. Summation formulas, contiguous to Watson's, Whipple's, Lavoie's and Choi's theorems in the theory of the generalized hypergeometric series, are obtained. Certain limiting cases of these results are given.

  • In this paper we introduce a class $h^{-\infty}_{\Phi}(\mathbb{B})$ of weighted spaces of harmonic functions in the unit ball $\mathbb{B}$ of $\mathbb{R}^n$. We dene weakly sufficient sets in this space and give an explicit construction of countable sets of such a type. Various examples of weight functions are also discussed.
