A robust test is proposed for the problem of testing the parallelism of several regression lines against ordered alternatives. The proposed test statistic is based on a linear combination of one-step pairwise GM-estimators. We compare the performance of the proposed test with that of the other tests through a Monte Carlo simulation. The results of the simulation study show that the proposed test has stable levels, good empirical powers in various circumstances, and particularly higher empirical powers under the presence of extreme outliers or leverage points.

The Japanese marine industries have made great contribution not only to the Japanese shipbuilding industry but also to the shipbuilding industry of many countries, Marine industries cover many products and one of the major area is propulsion engines. The present paper deals with the casualties of bulk carriers, many of which resulted in catastrophic and fatal consequencies - losses of ships and lives. In fact the fatality and the alarming statistics of bulk carrier casualty have ling been criticized since 1980's by several seafarers. In the paper, the features of hull structure and operation of bulk carrier are, firstly, examined and, then, casualties and major causes are speculated, Secondly, the issues of circumstances around shipping and naval architectural circles related to the casualties are raised and discussed. Finally, it highlights the need and the way for a higher safety standard for the shipping industy.

This paper embodies the agent based cinder monitoring system which supports PDA(Personal Digital Assistant). Monitoring system automatically manages data by using data managing agents such as a state managing agent, a location managing agent, a badness managing agent, a circumstances managing agent, etc, and uses a massive data processing agent to manage massive data. The development of agent based data monitoring system for the stable cinder reuse will be an epoch-making method to develop the process mechanized or manual-labored that widely spreads into the real-time automated process.

Some people think that the Internet is a tool of making the current market as a perfect competition market and that the business model of selling products or services is not attractive. But research of this issue propose that the Internet give us new challenge of business. A complete open manifold with nonnegative curvature is diffeomorphic to the normal bundle of the soul, and the projection map is a Riemannian submersion. Under certain circumstances, we prove that a harmonic map from a compact manifold followed by the projection is again harmonic. Therefore we obtain a harmonic map onto the soul when there is a harmonic map into an open manifold.

A new algorithm classifying ECG Arrhythmia signals using Back-propagation network is proposed. The base-line of ECG signal is detected by high pass filter and probability density function then input data are normalized for learning and classifying. In addition, ECG data are scanned to classify Arrhythmia signal which is hard to find R-wave. A two-layer perceptron with one hidden layer along with error back-propagation learning rule is utilized as an artificial neural network. The proposed algorithm shows outstanding performance under circumstances of amplitude variation, baseline wander and noise contamination.
