In the point of view, this study aims to examine the life of remarriaged old people after divorce and bereavement. therefore, the purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of married couple's relationship and remarriage in old age and help old people who want to be abused about their remarriage as a coping response of lire for widowhood in old aged. the subject were 14 old people who married over 53 years old bereavement and divorce residing in Chonju, Chonbuk and they had indepth interviews. 1. Most of subject would married with help of matchmaker under the consent a children and relative 2. The main motivation of remarriage was lone lies, however, for men being taken care and for women economic security were also important. 3. Premarriage experience seemed to help spouse adjustment between couples. 4. They matintained close relationship with there biological children. 5. There show a tendency to the bereavement woman remarriage life was happier than divorce woman. 6. When one of the couple had regular income, little economic conflict was there. In most case, wifes were younger than husband and economic stability after husband's death was their main concern and when the husband didn't show definite will to inherit asset to his wife, conflict got bigger.

The combined effects of Ulmi Cortex and some anti-cancer drugs on the proliferation of HeLa cells, Hep G2 cells and S 180 cells were estimated by MTT calorimetric assay. The n-BuOH fraction(UBF) of Ulmi Cortex inhibited the proliferation of HeLa cell at $10^{-3}\;g/ml$, Hep G2 cell at $10^{-5}\;g/ml$ and S 180 cell at $10^{-3}\;g/ml$. The inhibitory effects of mitomycin C(MMC), cisplatin(CPT) and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), respectively, on Hep G2 cell was increased by the UBF. The UBF did not influence the proliferation of Balb/c 3T3 cells at concentrations of $10^{-6}$ to $10^{-4}\;g/ml$, but increased the proliferation of T cells at concentrations of $10^{-5}$ to $10^{-4}\;g/ml$. The UBF did not influence the number of leukocyte, and on the thymus weight of mice. The UBF increased the number of total-peritoreal cells of mice. In conclusion, the results suggest that the UBF have anti-cancer activity without the side effect, such as leukopenia and immunosuppresion, and increase the inhibitory activity of the anti-cancer drugs on Hep G2 cells.

More than 300 specimens of higher fungi were collected in Mt. Jiri National Park areas from June, 1984 to September, 1985. These higher fungi were identified. As the resulting, Clitocybe flaccida (Fr.) Kummer, Tricoloma sejuctum (Fr.) $Qu\acute{e}l.$, Melanoleuca melaleuca (Fr.) Murr., Amanita rubrovolvata Imai, Rhodophyllus lazulinus (Fr.) ,$Qu\acute{e}l.$ Paxillus involutus (Fr.) Fr., and Lactarius campholatus Fr. were new to be Korea.

Water, waste, electric and gas facilities are urban based facilities that needed in our life and are often located in underground. Therefore, underground facilities are more difficult to manage efficiently than ground facilities. It is needed to carry out survey/probe into underground facilities and to build database in order to prevent city-misfortunes being occurred because of negligent management and in order to minimize budget-waste and a traffic jam according to repetition of road excavation constructions. Also, the development of application system is required to manage efficiently underground facility. Chonju city has launched underground water supply facility computerizing project as a part of National Geographic Information System project until December 1998 and executed survey/probe into 402.89 km water supply that is 80 mm up inside central town area 39.6 $km^2$. Also, chonju city built database into 537 km water supply that is 80 mm below based on water supply card without other survey/probe works. Also, existing work process each department is changed into GIS applied work process and underground water supply facility management system is developed by its work process basis. Water supply underground facility management system that is developed is composed of sub-system like base-map management, water supply inspect, water supply management and water supply inquiry, construction work management, administration management and map management. This research presents the procedure and method of underground water supply facility survey/probe and problem being occurred during survey/probe procedure and also show the functions of each sub-systems composing underground water supply facility management system.

By using the tool for finding influential cases in regrssion, we investigate teh properties of three types of diagonal elements of the hat matrix in central designs. From thses results, we determine the experimental points at axes ad teh number of replicates as the center and the otherpoints so that the experimental points give approximatly same influences to estimatoe teh response surface.

Apexes of basidia in Rhodophyllus muraii var. albus are divided into four sections or depressed in the center. A spore is formed by inflation of the apex of the sterigma. The apex of the sterigma is swollen and changed from a papilla through a peinsform and a club into a globeform. Six spots of globose spore are regularly or irregularly depressed with hilum axes. Finally the spores come cuboid.

The species of the genus Entoloma recorded in Korea until now are arranged with Korean Entoloma monography. It was made with modified keys of classification of Hesler and Noordeloos. On the basis of it, the genus Entoloma of Korea is classified into 7 subgenera, 10 sections, and 80 species.

The purpose of this study is to research the residents' subjective opinion the apartment noise. To attain this purpose. we investigated 182 residents' responses at “Da” apartment in Chonju. . Analysis showed the following results. The residents which are living in the building next to the road strongly felt the external traffic noise. The residents living on the first to fifth above the sixth to fifteenth also are suffering from the internal noise. Generally speaking. the apartment residents' life are considerably disturbing with noises. Especially this disturbance was serious in summer.

The goal of this article is to study the performances of various empirical Bayes simultaneous interval estimates for all pairwise comparisons. The considered empirical Bayes interval estimaters are those based on unbiased estimate, a hierarchical Bayes estimate and a constrained hierarchical Bayes estimate. Simulation results for small sample cases are given and an illustrative example is also provided.

Matlis posed the following question in 1958: if N is a direct summand of a direct sum M of indecomposable injectives, then is N itself a direct sum of indecomposable innjectives\ulcorner It will be proved that the Matlis problem has an affirmative answer when M is a multiplication module, and that a weaker condition then that of M being a multiplication module can be given to module M when M is a countable direct sum of indecomposable injectives.
