Thioltransferase, also known as glutaredoxin, is an enzyme that catalyzes the reduction of a variety of disulfide compounds. In Schizosaccharomyces pombe, two thioltransferases were reported and the cDNA of one of the thioltransferases (thioltransferase-1) was cloned. Using a Northern blot assay, we investigated the thioltransferase transcription in response to various stress conditions. When the culture was shifted to a high temperature, the thioltransferases transcription was not significantly changed compared to the unshifted $30^{\circ}C$ culture. Treatment of zinc chloride to exponentially-growing cells remarkably increased the thioltransferase transcription, whereas the treatment of mercury chloride greatly reduced the transcription. Treatment of hydrogen peroxide and cadmium chloride caused no significant effects on the transcription of the thioltransferase. These results suggest that the transcription of thioltransferase-1 in S. pombe is induced in response to metal stress that is caused by zinc chloride, but not in response to heat stress or oxidative stress that is caused by hydrogen peroxide.

The work was initiated to investigate the electrokinetic properties of a MF membrane using streaming potential measurement when oil emulsion was separated. The original and the surface modified PP membrane were examined by using flux and streaming potentials for the characterization of fouling phenomena of the PP membrane. The membrane surface was modified by a radiation grafting technique. The streaming potentials of the PP membranes were varied the charge distribution modifying by changing the pH, ionic strength, and concentrations the surfactants in oil emulsion. The shiftness to the more positive values of isoelectric point of the PP membrane was significant especially in the presence of surfactants or the surface modification.

초등학교 어린이들의 글쓰기 자료를 수집하여 분석한 결과 각 학년마다 공통적으로 오류를 범하는 글자가 있었다. 수업시간 또는 수업 후에 개개의 어린이들에게 맞춤법지도를 하고 올바른 한글 사용법을 가르쳐야 하겠지만 여건상 모든 어린이들을 상대로 지도한다는 것은 사실상 어렵다. 따라서 공통적으로 오류를 범하는 글자를 조사하고 올바른 표현법으로 수정하여 학습자료로 제작하면 맞춤법 지도에 특별한 시간을 할애하지 않더라도 학습자 개개인이 개별학습용으로 사용할 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 웹을 이용하여 올바른 한글 맞춤법에 대하여 인터넷과 컴퓨터라는 공간에서 시간과 공간의 제약을 받지 않고 상호작용이 가능하도록 구현하여 한글맞춤법 학습활동이 자기 주도적으로 이루어지도록 하는데 있으며 나아가 올바르게 한글을 사용하도록 태도를 형성하는데 있다.

수요자 중심의 학급 경영 시스템의 설계를 통하여 학급 경영의 장을 확대하여 시간과 공간을 초월한 효율적인 학급 경영을 가능하게 하고, 학부모와의 원활한 의사소통의 기회를 제공함으로써 상호 신뢰를 기반으로 한 협력 체제를 도모하여 효율적인 학급 경영을 이끌어낼 수 있는 홈을 설계하고 구현하였다. 또한 각 게시판에 관한 전체 권한을 어린이들에게 부여하여 잘못된 글자나 과격한 표현, 적절하지 못한 표현을 수정하도록 하고, 게시판에 대한 책임 의식을 높여 학급경영시스템에 자발적인 참여를 유도하도록 하여 교사 개인이 운영하는 시스템이 아닌 학급의 구성원인 어린이들과 함께 만들어 가는 시스템을 구현하고자 하였다.

정보 통신 기술과 인터넷의 발전으로 정보통신기술교육은 기 중요성을 더해가고 있으며, 정보통신기술 운영 지침에 의하여 2001년부터 시작하여 2003년에는 초등학교 6학년까지 모든 학생에게 정보통신기술 교육을 하도록 하고 있으나, 교육을 직접 담당하고 있는 교사들의 호응 없이는 그 효과를 기대할 수 없다. 이에 본 논문에서는 충청북도 교사들의 정의통신기술 운영지침 내용의 인지 정도는 어떠한지, 재량활동 시간을 이용한 정보통신기술 소양교육의 운영 실태는 어떠한지 설문을 통하여 그 실태를 파악하여 문제점을 제시하고, 해결방안을 마련할 토대를 마련하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the life satisfaction, to analyze the differences of the life satisfaction according to personal factor of university students, and to analyze relationship between adjustment to life and life satisfaction. The questionnaires were administered to 549 university students in Chongju city to measure the demographic information, the life satisfaction, and adjustment to life. As statistical analysis, frequencies, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and factor analysis were used. The results were as follows: 1. The life satisfaction was classified into two factors; subjective satisfaction and other person's view of satisfaction. 2. The university students showed negative attitudes toward the life satisfaction. 3. There was significant difference between males and females. Compare to female students, male students responded more positively to the life satisfaction. 4. There were partially significant differences according to personal factors of students on the life satisfaction. 5. There were significant correlations between each variable of adjustments to life and life satisfaction.

This paper has been studied an improvement of receive sensitivity for RF module of Industrial Scientific Medical(ISM) Band. In the paper, Also this paper handles receive sensitivity progress of RF module in ISM band. how to improve receive sensitivity adds to Surface Acoustic Wave(SAW) filter, Low Noise Filter(LNA), etc and insulates receiver and transmitter. And then the circuit is inspected by the effective range test of receiver and transmitter. And this Paper was designed that micro-controler controls the part of RF by software.

This paper describes a multi-functional EEG (electroencephalogram) software. The software manages the patient's EEG data systematically and analyzes the signal and display the parameters on a PC monitor in real-time. Since the software provides various parameters simultaneously, user can observe patients multilaterally. Reference patterns of CSA and DSA can be captured and displayed on top of the monitor. And user can mark events of surgical operation or patient's conditions, so it is possible to jump to the points of events directly, when reviewing the recorded file afterwards. Many convenient functions are equipped and these are operated by mouse clicks.

A family of some capability indices { $C_{p}$(.alpha.,.beta.); .alpha..geq.0, .beta..geq.0}, containing the indices $C_{p}$, $C_{{pk}}$, $C_{{pm}}$, and $C_{{pmk}}$, has been defined by Vannman(1993) for the case of two-sided specification interval. By varying the parameters of the family various capability indices with suitable properties are obtained. We derive tha asymptotic distribution of the family { $C_{p}$(.alpha.,.beta.); .alpha..geq.0,.beta..geq.0} under general proper conditions. It is also shown that the bootstrap approximation to the distribution of the estimator $C_{p}$(.alpha., .beta.) is vaild for almost all sample sequences. These asymptotic distributions would be used in constructing some bootstrap confidence intervals.tervals.

The effect of pH and the substrate concentration on the sensing ability of the chicken peroxidase enzyme electrode was examined quanititatively. Using the new Michaelis-Menten equation, to which pH concept was introduced, enabled to calculate all kinds of dissociation constant related to chicken peroxidase and subsequently to determine the optimum pH of the sensor.
