This study was conducted to analyze the metaverse usage behavior of college students through in-depth interviews and to explore the characteristics of the major metaverse platforms with a focus on keywords. This study derived elements such as metaverse participation activities, real-world order, metaverse system, presence, and self-expression from previous research. This study examined how college students who use the metaverse perceive these variables. We present the following research results: First, the college students who participated in the study showed interest in content with many interactive elements on the metaverse platform and appeared to participate more actively in such content. Second, college students cited the ability to engage in economic activities in the metaverse as their greatest strength. It was expected that social norms applied in the real world would also be applied in the metaverse. Third, the Metaverse system, such as the Metaverse UI, UX, and servers, was found to be a factor that needs to meet users' expectations and hinders immersion. In this study, the characteristics of the metaverse platform were analyzed, focusing on essential keywords from in-depth interviews. The analysis results are as follows: It was expressed with keywords such as Zepeto has 'avatar' and 'personality expression,' Ifland has 'free decoration' and 'communication convenience,' Gathertown has 'movement convenience' and 'video chat.' Roblox has 'game-based' and 'dynamic.'
One of the benefits of the internet-assisted instruction is that it can improve L2 Learners' motivation to express themselves in English. The purpose of this paper is to investigate an effective approach to British-American fiction learning in Korean universities, which can emphasize communicative strategies drawing on video-conferencing system, a chat system(CUSeeMe), and an e-mail system. Students are passive participants who cannot assert their creativity in the traditional teaching method of British-American fiction, which mainly relies upon reading and translation far from literature lessons. In CCDL(Cross-cultural distance learning) class, students can play active roles in asserting their own ideas and assuming considerable responsibility for making a presentation in English. A professor can play a role as a coordinator in supporting the students' activities and in winding up the class. The main significance of this article lies in providing a paradigm for CCDL class beyond the limitation of the traditional teaching method of British-American fiction in Korea and futhermore in exploring the eclectic integration of the traditional one and CCDL.
This study seeks to prove three points through the research. The first point is to examine the changes of international attitudes with actual experiences using synchronous international distance learning. The second point is to examine the effectiveness of a synchronous international distance system. And the final point is to compare international attitudes among middle school and undergraduate school students in Korea and Japan. The study used the DVTS for audio and video communication tools and automatic translating chat as a text communication tool. This combination of communication tools was very effective for students from both countries to communicate for international collaborative learning activities. The study found several interesting patterns of attitude change from the results of the study. For whole category analysis, there are positive changes in four categories of international attitudes: consciousness to foreign countries, consideration for other's viewpoints, motivation for international education, and recognition for the counterpart country. However, there was no change in the nationality category.

As 'Science Inquiry Experiment' is newly introduced in the high school curriculum, where inquiry and experiment oriented education is insufficient, this study aims to analyze teacher's practice of 'Science Inquiry Experiment' in depth and identify contradictions during its process in the perspective of Cultural Historical Activity Theory. The research participant is teacher SHIN who is exclusively responsible for Science Inquiry Experiment. Starting with reflection on the practice of Science Inquiry Experiment class conducted in the first semester, interviews with participants, participatory observation and local materials were used during the 2nd semester's Science Inquiry Experiment class. A descriptive analysis of the teacher SHIN's practice of Science Inquiry Experiment was carried out and the contradictions in the activity system of the teacher SHIN were identified. The result reveals that in the overall practice of teaching Integrated Science and Science Inquiry Experiment, there were contradictions between teacher SHIN's recognition about cooperation(subject) and shared responsibility with other teachers(division of labor), and between teacher SHIN's recognition about the subjects(subject) and contrasting contents in teacher training courses(community). In the practice of teaching Science Inquiry Experiment, there were specific contradictions between teacher SHIN's recognition about the subject(subject) and time of job assignment(rule), between experimental activities(object) and experimental tools(tool), and between purpose of the subject(object) and directions about assessment(rule). These contradictions directly or indirectly influence the practice of teaching Science Inquiry Experiment. There needs to be support for constructing an activity system capable of supporting and promoting teachers' practice of Science Inquiry Experiment, and we made several suggestions to resolve the problems.
Design of web site must include community considerations alongside technical design aspects. The main purposes of this study are to identify the community criteria for evaluating web site and to examine how business web sites include the community factors. To identify the evaluation criteria, the author reviewed recent literatures and made a table showing a summary result(see Table 1). appendix shows a sample form NASDAQ(n=82) and KOSDAQ(n=59) which were evaluated. Reportedly it says that 45% teenagers in the United State exchange the SMS with their friends during television watching. In other word TV viewing moulds the social community between audiences. In terms of social television it is all about interaction or communication technology relevant to TV watching as well as social behaviour. PECOLE (Peer-to-Peer Collaborative Environment) is a P2P-based multimedia distributed collaborative environment supporting a collaborative workspace which is composed of a variety of collaborative applications such as multi-chat, video conferencing, screen sharing and etc. Unfortunately, due to the PECOLE's simple group management, it is impossible to perform collaboration activities while joining multiple groups. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of PECOLE+ which is an extension of PECOLE. PECOLE+ resolves the drawback of PECOLE by providing the Group Management Service and the Workspace Management Service. The Group Management Service provides functionalities such as creating groups, joining multiple groups, and searching groups, and etc. The Workspace Management Service provides each group with an associated workspace, supporting the execution of collaborative applications over the workspace. In addition, any collaborative applications with the provided plug-in interfaces can be executed over the workspace as a PECOLE+ collaborative application.

Recently, various AI chatbots based on large language models have been released. Chatbots have the advantage of providing users with quick and easy information through interactive prompts, making them useful in various fields such as question answering, writing, and programming. However, a vulnerability in chatbots called "prompt injection attacks" has been proposed. This attack involves injecting instructions into the chatbot to violate predefined guidelines. Such attacks can be critical as they may lead to the leakage of confidential information within large language models or trigger other malicious activities. However, the vulnerability of Korean prompts has not been adequately validated. Therefore, in this paper, we aim to generate malicious Korean prompts and perform attacks on the popular chatbot to analyze their feasibility. To achieve this, we propose a system that automatically generates malicious Korean prompts by analyzing existing prompt injection attacks. Specifically, we focus on generating malicious prompts that induce harmful expressions from large language models and validate their effectiveness in practice.
