During thirty years, deterministic chaos has moved center stage in many areas of applied mathematics. One important stimulus for this, particularly in the early 1970s, was work on nonlinear aspects of the dynamics of plant and animal populations. There are many situations, at least to a crude first approximation, by a simple first-order difference equation. Past studies have shown that such equations, even though simple and deterministic, can exhibit a surprising array of dynamical behavior, from stable points, to a bifurcating hierarchy of stable cycles, to apparently random fluctuations. But higher-order spectral analyses of such behavior are usually not considered. Higher-order spectra of a signal contain important information that is not present in its power spectrum. So, if we find the spectral pattern and get information from it, it will be able to be used effectively in so many fields. Hence, this paper uses auto bicoherence and bicoherence residue which are sort of bispectrum. Applying these to behavior of logistic difference equation, which is typical chaotic signal, the phenomenon of phase coupling and the appearance of frequency band can be analyzed. Such information means that bispectral analysis is useful to detect nonlinearity of signal.

In this paper, we propose a dynamic mathematical model of love involving various external forces, in order to analyze the chaotic phenomena in a love model based on Romeo and Juliet. In addition, we investigate the nonlinear phenomena in a love model with external forces using time series and phase portraits. In order to describe nonlinear phenomena precisely using time series and phase portraits, we vary the type of external force, using models such as a sine wave, chopping wave, and square wave. We also apply various different parameters in the Romeo and Juliet model to acquire chaotic dynamics.

This paper deals with the problem of the global stabilization for a class of tension leg platform (TLP) nonlinear control systems. Problem and objective: Based on the relaxed method, the chaotic system can be stabilized by regulating appropriately the parameters of dither. Scope and method: If the frequency of dither is high enough, the trajectory of the closed-loop dithered chaotic system and that of its corresponding model-the closed-loop fuzzy relaxed system can be made as close as desired. Results and conclusion: The behavior of the closed-loop dithered chaotic system can be rigorously predicted by establishing that of the closed-loop fuzzy relaxed system.
Many chaos-based encryption methods have been presented and discussed in the last two decades, but very few of them are suitable to secure transmission on noisy channels or respect the standard of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This paper tackles the problem and presents a novel chaos-based cryptosystem for secure transmitted images. The proposed cryptosystem overcomes the drawbacks of existing chaotic algorithms such as the Socek, Xiang, Yang, and Wong methods. It takes advantage of the increasingly complex behavior of perturbed chaotic signals. The perturbing orbit technique improves the dynamic statistical properties of generated chaotic sequences, permits the proposed algorithm reaching higher performance, and avoids the problem of error propagation. Finally, many standard tools, such as NIST tests, are used to quantify the security level of the proposed cryptosystem, and experimental results prove that the suggested cryptosystem has a high security level, lower correlation coefficients, and improved entropy.
The complex 2-dimensional movements of fish during an annual migration circuit were generated and simulated by a chaotic model of fish movement, which was expanded from a small-scale movement model. Fish migration was modeled as a neural network including stimuli, central decision-making, and output responses as variables. The input stimuli included physical stimuli (temperature, salinity, turbidity, flow), biotic factors (prey, predators, life cycle) and landmarks or navigational aids (sun, moon, weather), values of which were all normalized as ratios. By varying the amplitude and period coefficients of the klinokinesis index using chaotic equations, model results (i.e., spatial orientation patterns of migration through time) were represented as fish feeding, spawning, overwintering, and sheltering. Simulations using this model generated 2-dimesional annual movements of sea bream migration in the southern and western seas of the Korean Peninsula. This model of object-oriented and large-scale fish migration produced complicated and sensitive migratory movements by varying both the klinokinesis coefficients (e.g., the amplitude and period of the physiological month) and the angular variables within chaotic equations.

The purpose of this paper was the determination of the relationship between the chaotic charateristics and various levels of brain activities. Assuming that EEG(eletroencephalogram), which is generated by a nonlinear electiecal behavior of billions of neurons in the brain, has chaotic characteristics, it was confirmed by frequency spectrum analysis, log frequency spectrum analysis, correlation dimension analysis and Lyapunov exponents analysis. Chaotic characteristics are related to the degree of brain activity. The slope of log frequency spectrum increased and the correlation dimension decreased with respect to the brain activities, while the lagrest Lyapunov exponent has some rough correlation.
The physiological systems have nonlinear complex phenomena. Expecially, the flow of capillary blood vessel has a nonlinear dynamic system. Thus, this study analyzes nonlinear characteristics of the flow of capillary blood vessel in physiological systems using chaotic tools(phase space reconstruction, correlation dimension, largest lyapunov exponent). Experimental data have been acquired from examining 10 rabbits. The results of chaotic analysis showed a decreasing largest lyapunov exponent and correlation dimension according to increasement glocose index. And we also know the chaotic behavior.

In this paper, a computer simulation of the Lornz discrete chaotic system is described. The chotic behavior closely matches the results predicted by numerical simulations. Using the concept of discrete synchronized chaotic systems, the possibility of a secure communication is proved by simulating the Lorenz system in both the transmitter and receiver. In the proposed approach, at first, a chaotic modulating signal is multiplied with the message, and these are transmitted with adding a chaotic modulating signals, and then at the receiver, the chaotic modulating signal is regenerated and divided from the receiver signal. Varying a smapling time interval to calibrate the robustness of the Lorenz discrete synchronized chaotic system as a nonlinear state estimator, we measured the performance of the Lorenz discrete syncrhonized chaotic system by comparing the synchronization error and the error between transmitted signal and received signal.
Organic solar cells utilized natural polymers to convert solar energy to electricity. The demands for green energy production and less disposal of toxic materials make them one of the interesting candidates for replacing conventional solar cells. However, the different aspects of their properties including mechanical strength and stability are not well recognized. Therefore, in the present study, we aim to explore the chaotic responses of these organic solar cells. In doing so, a specific type of organic solar cell constructed from layers of material with different thicknesses is considered to obtain vibrational and chaotic responses under different boundaries and initial conditions. A square plate structure is examined with first-order shear deformation theory to acquire the displacement field in the laminated structure. The bounding between different layers is considered to be perfect with no sliding and separation. On the other hand, nonlocal elasticity theory is engaged in incorporating the structural effects of the organic material into calculations. Hamilton's principle is adopted to obtain governing equations with regard to boundary conditions and mechanical loadings. The extracted equations of motion were solved using the perturbation method and differential quadrature approach. The results demonstrated the significant effect of relative glass layer thickness on the chaotic behavior of the structure with higher relative thickness leading to less chaotic responses. Moreover, a comprehensive parameter study is presented to examine the effects of nonlocality and relative thicknesses on the natural frequency of square organic solar cell structure.

This paper presents a implementation of a chaotic Lorenz system for data secure communication applications. Here we have used PIC18F family-based microcontroller to generate the chaotic signal, and simulated waveform patterns confirm that the chaotic behavior of the microcontroller based discrete time chaotic Lorenz system. There are three R-2R ladder type A/D converters have been implemented for conversion of direct microcontroller digital output into analog waveform, utilizing this specific microcontroller relevant to this experiment work, microcontroller ports B, C and D have been utilized for its time waveform outputs X, Y and Z respectively. XC8 compiler used for the compilation of the program. MATLAB and PROTEUS software platforms are used for simulation. Finally, chaotic time wave forms, 2D chaotic attractors were obtained and secure communication analog waveforms were also verified by experimental measurement.
