This study aims to identify leadership behaviors and expected competencies of supervisors that had a positive or negative impact on the performance of employees in a remote work environment. For the purpose of the study, 19 office employees with more than one-year work experience were interviewed, and the critical incident technique (CIT) was used to verify themes. The results of this study are as follows. First, the frequency of comments on leadership behavior of supervisors that positively affect work performance of employees in a remote work environment was high in the order of task-oriented, relationship-oriented, and change-oriented leadership behavior, and it was classified into 10 actions. Second, the frequency of comments on leadership behavior of supervisors that negatively affect work performance of employees in remote work environment was high in the order of task-oriented, relationship-oriented, and change-oriented leadership behavior, and it was classified into 9 behaviors. Further, the expected competencies of supervisors were classified into 13 categories in a remote work environment. Based on this research conclusions were drawn and suggestions were made for further studies.
This study was conducted to gather basic data on the tasks and roles of nutrition teachers by analyzing the changes inwork importance, performance frequency, and organizational environment after dietitians were transposed to nutrition teachers. E-mail surveys were sent to 100 newly assigned nutrition teachers who previously served as dietitians in Gyeonggi province. A total of 72 teachers responded to the survey. The respondents were asked the importance and frequency of 9 work-related duties performed as a dietitian and nutrition teacher, respectively. They were also surveyed regarding their satisfaction perceptions for 5 organizational changes. The majority of respondents were 36 to 40 years old (48.6%) and had 10$\sim$20 years of work experience (58.3%). Significant differences were found for work importance after changing to the role of nutrition teacher (p<0.001). In addition, work performance frequency differences were found for the categories of nutrition education, nutrition counseling, and dietary guidance. These results were attributable to the differences in work importance and performance frequency by now being a nutrition teacher rather than a dietitian. The respondents had increased satisfaction levels after changing from dietitian to nutrition teacher (p<0.001) in terms of 'pride for change in work', 'satisfaction level for pay', and 'satisfaction level for change in the organizational environment'. In order for nutrition teachers to have effective work performance, 'personal capabilities' and 'school manager support' should be coordinated. Overall, the results of this study suggest that effective training programs should be developed for nutrition teachers they can effectively complete newly assigned work tasks.

Objective: The Job Demand & Resources model suggests work characteristics are related to mental well-being and work engagement. Previous work describes the development of a combined construct 'engaged well-being at work' (EWB). To what extent changes in measures of this construct are responsive to changes in job demands and resources or associated with changes in job-related attitudes has not been established. Methods: Longitudinal employee-level data from three waves (German Linked Personnel Panel) were used. Logistic and linear fixed effects regression analyses explored longitudinal associations between changes in EWB for participants over a three-year period with changes in job demands and resources and job-related attitudes (job commitment, satisfaction, and turnover intentions). Results: While job resources were associated with increased odds for a change into a healthier and/or more engaged category of EWB, job demands reduced them. Job resources were more strongly related to higher EWB (ORrange = 1.22 - 1.61) than job demands (ORrange = 0.79 - 0.96). Especially psychological job demands showed negative associations with improved EWB (OR = 0.79). A change from the least desirable category 'disengaged strain' to any other category of EWB was associated with greater odds by up to 20.6 % for increased commitment and job satisfaction and lower odds for turnover intentions. Discussion: Improving work characteristics, especially job resources, could increase employees' EWB, emphasizing the importance of job characteristics for a healthy workplace. Because EWB seems to be associated with job attitudes, an improvement of this indicator would be relevant for employees and employers.

Through smart work using by smart technologies, many organizations wish to change traditional working styles. Lots of organizations, however, wish to do work with smartness through adoption of smart work technologies, those are not sure whether smart work will be successful or not till now. Viewpoints of members concerning efficiency and effectiveness from smart work who operate the organizations may be different. Therefore, hopefully, this research tried to investigate whether differences among members of organizations by empirical and exploratory approach. Totally, 118 questionnaires had been collected and performed test of mean difference between groups. As a result, some items such as working place, working methods, flexible time and tension of smartwork showed significant differences among groups and non-leader and leader groups. And, furthermore, from this research I believe that we can have a few insights for successful smart working environment in organizations. For successful smart work, organizations have to try to overcome or minimize differences among members of organization.

The purpose of this study was to explore factors influencing on work values of female college students focusing on parental effect to enhance their participation in labor market. The respondents were asked to answer a questionnaire, and the collected 400 data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0. The results showed that the students and their parents had more leisure-oriented and extrinsic work values than labor-oriented and intrinsic work values. The labor-oriented and intrinsic work values appeared to be high in the group with experience of part time jobs, with high educated father or with middle household income. The influencing factors on college students' work values were parental work values, gender consciousness, self-efficacy and major. The results from this study suggest that parents of college students should be educated to change their work values.
The most common conception of a work of art is as a unique object. In conservation the prevalent notion of authenticity is based on physical integrity, this guides judgements about loss. For the majority of traditional art objects, minimising change to the physical work means minimising loss, where loss is understood as compromising the (physical) integrity of a unique object, and this forms the focus of conservation. Fundamental to conservators' approach to the conservation of contemporary art is the notion that the artist's intent should guide conservators' practice. Since most of the artists creating installation art are living, it is possible to interview them about the details of the installation, attitudes to changing technology, parameters of acceptable change and their views about what aspects of the installation are essential to preserve. Conservation is no longer focused on intervening to repair the art object but has become concerned with documentation and determining what change is acceptable and managing those changes. In order to accurately install works in the future it is necessary to broaden our focus to include elements of an installation that affect the viewer's experience. This might mean documenting the space, the acoustics, the balance of the different channels of sound, the light levels and the way one enters and leaves the installation. These are as important as the more tangible or material elements in the conservation of the work. It is also necessary to work with industry and specialists outside the field of conservation to develop new skills to preserve and manage new types of objects in our care. We can also document the less tangible details of an installation such as the light levels, the character of the sound etc. This is a new area of conservation and as a profession our understanding and knowledge will deepen with time. All of these strategies work together to help to limit the risk of not being able to accurately install these works in the future. Deciding what can be changed and how to best care for any element of an installation will depend on its meaning and role. For both contemporary and traditional objects such decisions are documented by conservators and although the focus of the conservator may have moved away from the material object, the approach is still rooted in traditional notions of collection care.
This study is an attempt to analyze the physical load by the type of the nursing tasks at the neurosurgical ICU nurses through the quantitative analysis of the working postures by the type of the nursing tasks with the OWAS(Ovako Working Postures Analysis System). Data collection was conducted through the video recording of the 13 nurses working at the neurosurgical ICU. For the analysis of the work postures by the type of the nursing tasks, and were interviewed regarding the subjective degree of the difficulties with the work postures related to the tasks. Collected data was analyzed through the WinOWAS program. The results were as follows : AC3 or AC4 tasks among the 18 nursing tasks types are "occupied bed making and change of the patient gown", "back massage", "suction", "elimination management", "change of position", "adjustment of bed", "helping the patient to move","measurement of CVP"and "measurement of urine volume". It appears that these tasks are harmful to the musculoskeletal system and the improvement or change of the work is required. The results stated above indicate that improper working postures during the nursing tasks influence the musculoskeletal system. Therefore, making use of assistant devices for the improvement of the working environment at the nursing tasks, based on human technological diagnoses, is required regarding the duty types with massive work pressure known to be harmful to the musculoskeletal system among those performed by the nurses. And there is a need of the education about the employment and maintenance of the vocational back pain prevention.
In my study, I analysed and criticised the change of applied works based on a design drawing of a private forest road in Chungchengnam province from 1990 to 2003. The aim of this study is to obtain the fundamental resources for establishment the green forest road which is environment friendly. Working expenses of forest road was gradually increased by a business year. In particular, the working expenses dramatically increased in 1999-2000. In change rate of cost of construction by works, earth work rate of the cost of constructions was declined: from 25.4% in 1990-1999, to 18.5% in 2000-2003. However, the total cost of the construction of slope protection work and structural work increased. Nevertheless the rate of the cost of constructions are not increased where as the earth work rate of the cost of constructions were reduced. The rate of the price construction materials and the cost of construction was the main causes which was led by the extension of the standard requirement of applied work and the increase of the materials of applied work. In other word, materials of structural work and slope protection work increased. If the increase of the cost of construction has seem through the increase of contractual materials and extension of the standard requirement would led to weak competitiveness of forest road. Therefore, diverse method of constructions need to apply and a new method should be developed.
The methods for estimating the change of free energy in dissipative particle dynamics (DPD) are discussed on the basis of fluctuation theorems. Fluctuation theorems are tactics to evaluate free energy changes from non-equilibrium work distributions and have several forms, as proposed by Jarzynski, Crooks, and Bennett. The validity of these methods however, has been shown merely with the molecular dynamics or Langevin dynamics. In this study, the appropriate forms of fluctuation theorems for dissipative particle dynamics, which has similar structure to that of Langevin dynamics, are suggested using Liouville's theorem, and they are proved equivalent to original fluctuation theorems. Work distribution functions, which are probability distribution functions of works exerted on the system within the systematic change, are the basics of fluctuation theorems and their shapes are turned out to be dependent on the phase space trajectory of the change of the system. The reliability of Jarzynski and Crooks methods is highly dependent on the number of simulations to measure works and the shapes of the work distribution functions. Bennett method, however, can evaluate free energy changes even when Jarzynski and Crooks methods fail to do so.

High-speed machining is a very useful tool and one of the most effective rapid manufacturing processes. This study sought to produce various high-speed machining materials with excellent quality and dimensional accuracy. However, high-speed machining is not suitable for microscale thin-walled structures because the structure stiffness lacks the ability to resist the cutting force. This paper proposes a new method that is able to rapidly produce very thin-walled structures. This method consists of high-speed machining followed by filling. A strong work-holding force results from the solidification of the filling materials. Low-melting point metal alloys are used to minimize the thermal effects during phase changes and to hold the arbitrarily shaped thin-walled structures quickly during the high-speed machining. We demonstrate some applications, such as thin-walled cylinders and hemispherical shells, to verify the usefulness of this method and compare the analyzed dimensional accuracy of typical parts of the structures.
