친환경 임도포장공법 개발을 위한 기초연구 (Basic Study on Development of Forest Road Pavement Using Eco-Friendly Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 친환경고화재와 자연토, 물을 혼합하여 포설한 후 다짐장비를 이용하여 지반을 고결시키는 임도포장공법에 대한 기초연구를 수행하였다. 포장체의 목표강도는 2.0MPa로 설정하였고 고화재의 혼합비, 자연토의 종류, 양생기간별로 공시체를 제작하여 일축압축강도특성과 내구성을 평가하였다. 일축압축강도시험은 동일한 혼합비의 시멘트를 혼합한 공시체와 친환경고화재를 혼합한 공시체를 제작하여 강도를 비교하였으며, 내구성 평가를 위한 시험은 표면마모시험, 유수저항성 시험 등을 수행하였다. 또한, 임도의 특성상 탐방객들도 이용이 가능하므로 보행만족도를 평가하기 위하여 쇠구슬과 골프공을 이용한 SB, GB시험을 수행하였다.

연약지반내 DCM 개량체의 특성이 지하차도의 안정성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of DCM Column Properties in Softground on Stabilities of Underground Roadways)

  • 연약지반에 지하차도의 기초로서 심층혼합처리공법을 적용하였다. 개량체는 실내배합실험으로 구한 배합비와 강도기준을 만족하는 치환율을 적용하였다. 개량체와 지반의 강성비 및 타설중심거리를 변화시키며 개량체와 지반에 발생한 응력 및 변위를 분석하였으며 지하차도의 부등침하에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 구조물의 침하기준과 부등침하를 만족하는 치환율은 10~35%이다. 강성비를 변화시킨 결과 강성비차가 30이상인 경우에는 응력집중 때문에 개량체에 769.2kPa까지 발생하여 기준을 초과한다. C.T.C가 5m인 경우에 지반으로 응력이 전이되어 응력이 커지기 때문에 설치간격을 고려하여야 한다. 복합지반강도 정수를 산정하여 수치해석 한 결과 연직침하는 0.6~1.56cm, 각변위 1/909~1/510이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 자기치유 마이크로캡슐이 시멘트 복합재료의 품질 및 치유특성에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 마이크로캡슐의 혼합은 마이크로캡슐의 입자 특성에 의하여 시멘트 복합재료의 소성점도 및 항복응력이 감소하며, 혼합율에 비례하여 감소하였다. 테이블 플로우는 손실량에 의한 코어재료가 자극제 역할을 함에 따라 감소하는 경향이 나타났으며, 압축강도는 배합수 보정을 통하여 강도보완이 가능하였다. 마이크로캡슐 혼합이 시멘트 복합재료의 치유 특성에 미치는 영향을 평가한 결과, 균열개시 이후 즉시 치유반응에 의하여 단위투수량이 감소되는 결과가 나타났으며, 마이크로캡슐 3% 이상 혼합할 경우 치유재령 7일에 95% 이상의 치유율이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

The effects of polymers and fly ash on unconfined compressive strength and freeze-thaw behavior of loose saturated sand

  • Constructions over soft and loose soils are one of the most frequent problems in many parts of the world. Cement and cement-lime mixture have been widely used for decades to improve the strength of these soils with the deep soil mixing method. In this study, to investigate the freeze-thaw effect of sand improved by polymers (i.e., styrene-acrylic-copolymer-SACP, polyvinyl acetate-PVAc and xanthan gum) and fly ash, unconfined compression tests were performed on specimens which were exposed to freeze-thaw cycles and on specimens which were not exposed to freeze-thaw cycles. The laboratory test results concluded that the unconfined compressive strength increased with the increase of polymer ratio and curing time, whereas, the changes on unconfined compressive strength with increase of freeze-thaw cycles were insignificant. The overall evaluation of results has revealed that polymers containing fly ash is a good promise and potential as a candidate for deep soil mixing application.

  • HPFRCCs(High performance fiber reinforced cementitious composites) is a class of FRCCs(Fiber reinforced cementitious composites) exhibit multiple crack. Multiple crack lead to improvement in ductility, toughness, and deformation capacity under compressive and tensile stress. These properties of HPFRCCs are affected by type of fiber, water cement ratio, type of admixture and rate of substitution. Furthermore these influence dispersion of fiber, mixing performance and fluidity of mixture. In this paper, HPFRCCs made of steel cord and carbon fiber were tested with water cement ratio, type of admixture and rate of substitution to evaluate characteristics of mixing and flexural strength.

  • Recently in the construction site is required various performance of mortar to deal with reliability, economy. Especially of environment-friendly, saving resources and high performance of mortar it began to require improvement of performance. Therefore, in this study, a series of tests was designed to develop a using mud flat mortar in view of the high absorption rate of tidal flats, to fix the water cement ratio to 70%. The mixing ratio were 10:0, 9:1, 8:2, 7:3, 6:4, 5:5, 4:6 of fine aggregate and mud flats. Compared the flow value, chloride content, compressive strength, tensile strength, and workability of fine aggregate the substituted mud flat mortar and basic cement mortar, present the basic data on the characteristics and effects of mud flat mortar.

  • The Purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of frozen slab mixing technique on physical property of zinc phosphate cement used in Korea. Standard consistency, setting time, film thickness, solubility of cement prepared in frozen slab and room temperature slab were tested. The obtained results were as follows. 1. Amount of powder required for standard-consistency for all cements tested could be increased. 2. Setting time for all cements tested could be decreased. 3. No significant difference in film thickness. 4. Solubility for all cements tested could be decreased.

  • Recently, concrete structures have become larger and higher and are demanding high performance concrete with lower heat to prevent thermal cracking, far greater workability, high strength and durability, Application of low heat portland(Type IV) cement for the high performance concrete is the best solution to satisfied those requirements. Here are explained the effect on the properties of high flowing concrete using low heat portland cement by material and mixing variations. Variables for sensitivity test were selected items like finess modulus of aggregates, particle size of limestone powder, unit water, superplasticizer, viscosity agent and concrete temperature. The results of this study were be applied to slurry wall of #215 and #216 of underground LNG tank in Inchon.

  • This paper presents procedure and prediction method of internal and external stabilities when designing D.C.M, with main factors to be considered, such as chemical reaction of additive, physical properties of stabilized body and mixing strength. Results show that through case studies, a design unconfined compressive strength of stabilized body (hereafter referred to as 'compressive strength') directly depends on the quantity of cement, which is decided by laboratory test, and the compressive strength enormously affects internal and external stabilities. So laboratory mixing test to obtain the compressive strength for design allowable stress should be given careful considerations.

  • As the Deep Cement Mixing Method is composed of drilled natural soft soil structure and injected cement slurry to be mix together in it, the nature of excavated ground is influenced directly to the application of constructability. Also the nature of in situ soil is the main material, the mix design and construction work plan should be established before the investigation of soil which is performed through the whole site confirm the soil parameter before construction. The nature of investigated soil and water level as should be performed accurately.
