Future-oriented train design should be able to provide highly refined traffic culture and public transportation service by achieving 'higher value addition, sensitization, and humanization' and then securing safety, convenience, and amenity. Therefore, design of FRT, as a means of environment-friendly public transportation, should have new concepts achieving harmony between design and technology. Consequently, when designing interior of trains for public transportation, it should aim for user-centered strategies. This approach is essentially applied to vehicle design and inducement to new concepts by design aesthetics and their verification become requirements for train Interior design, which should be equipped with sensitivity and functional images. Accordingly, a study on the correlation between constituents in order to implement design is essential to design planning and realization of strategies.

A Laser Doppler Vibrometer (LDV) based on the heterodyne method was developed using He-Ne laser as a light source. The heterodyne method was employed to eliminate the ambiguity in the direction of the motion. The frequency shifted object beam (40 MHz) by a Bragg cell was focused on the surface of the moving target and the Doppler shifted reflected beam was combined at the fast photodetector to produce frequency modulated signal centered at 40 MHz. The signal from the detector was amplified, filtered and downconverted to intermediate frequency centered at 5 MHz. The voltage output that was proportional to the velocity of the moving surface was obtained using PLL. This LDV can be used to measure the resonant frequency of the electric equipments such as circuit breakers and bushings, of which resonant frequencies are changed when they are damaged.

면적고정형 ARF (Fixed Area ARFs)방법은 강우관측소의 지점강우를 활용하여 산정되고 있으며, 공간적 관측밀도의 제약이 정확한 ARF산정에 제약조건이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 레이더 강우관측을 활용하여 호우중심형의 ARF를 제시하고자 한다. 호우중심형 ARF (Storm-centered ARFs)산정 시 강우의 이동성, 방향성, 공간분포를 고려하기 위하여 강우사상별 강우형상에 따른 타원 장축의 방향성 결정, 강우형상에 따른 면적별 최적면적강우량을 산정하여 ARF를 제시하였다. 전선형에 비하여 태풍의 ARF값의 변동 폭이 작은 것을 알 수 있었고, 전선형은 지속시간에 따라 ARF가 증가하지만, 태풍의 경우에는 오히려 ARF가 감소하는 모습을 볼 수 있었다. 이 결과 지속시간이 비교적 짧은 1~3시간에서는 태풍 산바 사상의 ARF가 크게 산정되었으나, 지속시간이 긴 6~24시간에서는 ARF가 전선형 강우에 비해 작게 산정됨을 확인하였다.

There are many factors that affect on the system output of Photovoltaic(PV) power generation; the variation of solar radiation, temperature, energy conversion efficiency of solar cell etc. This paper suggests a methodology for calculation of PV generation output using the probability distribution function of irradiance, PV array efficiency and revision factors of solar cell conversion efficiency. Long-term irradiance data recorded every hour of the day for 11 years were used. For goodness-fit test, several distribution (unctions are tested by Kolmogorov-Smirnov(K-S) method. The calculated generation output with or without revision factors of conversion efficiency is compared with that of CMS (Centered Monitoring System), which can monitor PV generation output of each PV generation site.

Homotypic cell-in-cell (CIC) structures forming between cancer cells were proposed to promote tumor evolution via entosis, a nonapoptotic cell death process. However, the mechanisms underlying their formation remained poorly understood. We performed a microarray analysis to identify genes associated with homotypic CIC formation. Cancer cells differing in their ability to form homotypic CIC structures were selected for the study. Association analysis identified 73 probe sets for 62 candidate genes potentially involved in CIC formation. Among them, twenty-one genes were downregulated while 41 genes were upregulated. Pathway analysis identified a gene interaction network centered on IL-8, which was upregulated in high CIC cells. Remarkably, CIC formation was significantly inhibited by IL-8 knockdown and enhanced upon recombinant IL-8 treatment, which correlated with altered cell-cell adhesion and expression of adhesive molecules such as P-cadherin and ${\gamma}$-catenin. Together, our work identified IL-8 as a positive regulator of homotypic CIC formation via enhancing intercellular adhesion.

This paper presents an Interprocessor Communication Network(IPC net) in ATM switching system. In order to supply stable and independent path for processor communication, additional network i.e., Ethernet, is suggested. An Ethernet switch centered on Ethernet binds each processor into a work range. IPC net proposed in this paper assures end-to-end inter-processor connection, uniform 100Mbps Ethernet bandwidth and enhanced user cell throughput of ATM switch with minimum Ethernet supporting block integrated into ATM system

Multigrid methods finite element/finite volume methods and their convergence properties are reviewed in a general setting. Some early theoretical results in simple finite element methods in variational setting method are given and extension to nonnested-noninherited forms are presented. Finally, the parallel theory for nonconforming element[13] and for cell centered finite difference methods [15, 23] are discussed.

This paper presents the high order conservative interpolation methods. This method has been successfully implemented into a cell-centered finite volume methods code. Results using high order and maintaining conservation interpolation method are more accurate compared to bilinear interpolation.
