A 3D scanner scans and captures the shape of a real-world object. The captured shape can be used to construct three-dimensional model for CAD/CAM applications. In this study we have tried to design a cell phone cover by using the 3D scanner and reverse engineering. A 3D scanner is used to capture the shape of a cell phone. The 3D scanner generates a point cloud as the shape information. A three-dimensional CAD model for the cell phone is constructed from the point cloud. A cell phone cover is designed based on the CAD model of the cell phone. To check the integrity of this design process a prototype of the cover is made and assembled with the cell phone.

Purpose: This study was done to develop a cell phone addiction scale for Korean adolescents. Methods: The process included construction of a conceptual framework, generation of initial items, verification of content validity, selection of secondary items, preliminary study, and extraction of final items. The participants were 577 adolescents in two middle schools and three high schools. Item analysis, factor analysis, criterion related validity, and internal consistency were used to analyze the data. Results: Twenty items were selected for the final scale, and categorized into 3 factors explaining 55.45% of total variance. The factors were labeled as withdrawal/tolerance (7 items), life dysfunction (6 items), and compulsion/persistence (7 items). The scores for the scale were significantly correlated with self-control, impulsiveness, and cell phone use. Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the 20 items was .92. Scale scores identified students as cell phone addicted, heavy users, or average users. Conclusion: The above findings indicate that the cell phone addiction scale has good validity and reliability when used with Korean adolescents.

Objectives : There has been gradually increasing concern about the adverse health effects of electromagnetic radiation originating from cell phones which are widely used in modern life. Cell phone radiation may affect human health by increasing free radicals of human blood cells. This study has been designed to identify DNA damage of blood cells by electromagnetic radiation caused by cell phone use. Methods : This study investigated the health effect of acute exposure to commercially available cell phones on certain parameters such as an indicator of DNA damage for 14 healthy adult volunteers. Each volunteer during the experiment talked over the cell phone with the keypad facing the right side of the face for 4 hours. The single cell gel electrophoresis assay (Comet assay), which is very sensitive in detecting the presence of DNA strand-breaks and alkali-labile damage in individual cells, was used to assess peripheral blood cells (T-cells, B-cells, granulocytes) from volunteers before and after exposure to cell phone radiation. The parameters of Comet assay measured were Olive Tail Moment and Tail DNA %. Results : The Olive Tail Moment of B-cells and granulocytes and Tail DNA % of B-cells and granulocytes were increased by a statistically significant extent after 4-hour use of a cell phone compared with controls. Conclusion : It is concluded that cell phone radiation caused the DNA damage during the 4 hours of experimental condition. Nonetheless, this study suggested that cell phone use may increase DNA damage by electromagnetic radiation and other contributing factors.

In cell phone, factor of external and internal are important. Many people look appearance at first time. The main aim of this study is to know users affect on weight of cell phone. For the evaluation based on weight of cell phone, 46 participants took part in this study. They carried four cell phone which different weigh. After that they made up questionnarie. The result, the people felt positive affect in a light cell phone and negative affect in weighty cell phone. They preferred a light cell phone. But there were not statistically meaning difference in affect of luxurious. It be used when the cell phone which has special target is made.

Rapid popularization of smart cell phone equipped with camera has led to a number of new legal and criminal problems related to multimedia such as digital image, which makes cell phone source identification an important branch of digital image forensics. This paper proposes a classifier combination based source identification strategy for cell phone images. To identify the outlier cell phone models of the training sets in multi-class classifier, a one-class classifier is orderly used in the framework. Feature vectors including color filter array (CFA) interpolation coefficients estimation and multi-feature fusion is employed to verify the effectiveness of the classifier combination strategy. Experimental results demonstrate that for different feature sets, our method presents high accuracy of source identification both for the cell phone in the training sets and the outliers.

Corresponding to the high consumption rate of the selfie stick for cell phone camera, the design of the product is becoming diverse. However, relatively low cost selfie stick models are not strong enough to stand the weight of the cell phone. This results into a bending of the stick or the accidental fall of the cell phone by the failure of the holding unit. As a solution to the problem, design of selfie stick that is structurally strong enough to stand the weight of the cell phone with the minimum weight for the portability is proposed in this paper.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of cell phone addiction on communication skills and the interpersonal relationship ability of adolescents. Methods: The researcher recruited 751 high school students to assess their general characteristics, communication skills, cell phone addiction and interpersonal relationship ability. Data were collected from June 30 to July 14 in 2014 using copies of a structured self report questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and linear multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 IBM program. Results: Of the students, 3.5% reported they were addicted users, and 7.6% reported they were heavy users. Results from multiple regression analysis showed that cell phone addiction did not have any influence on communication skills of the adolescents. However, cell phone addiction mostly affected the interpersonal relationship ability of the adolescents (${\beta}=.24$, p<.001). Poor school performance (${\beta}=.17$, p<.001) and low socioeconomic status (${\beta}=.12$, p<.05) were also related to the interpersonal skills of the adolescents. These variables explained 8.3% of the variance in the interpersonal skills of the adolescents. Conclusion: These results suggest that cell phone addiction has a negative influence on the development of the interpersonal relationship ability of adolescents. The findings of this study are expected to provide basic data about the influence of cell phone addiction on the interpersonal relationship ability of adolescents. Therefore, cell phone addiction treatment programs for adolescents need to include contents related to interpersonal relationship ability.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the cell phone utilization and depression among the Korean elderly living alone using '2014 Korean National Survey on Older Adults. A total of 2,493 survey data of the elders living alone 65 years or more was included in the analysis. The degree of the cell phone utilization were categorized into (1) No cell phone, (2) Only phone calls, (3) Phone calls and text messages, and (4) Searching news and information through the internet surfing. The results showed that 81.5% elderly living alone had a cell phone. The 'no cell phone' group was 19.5% while 'information search' group was 3.5% among the elderly living alone and has more probability of depression than 'information search' group (OR=0.064, 95% CI=0.018-0.227), which indicates that as elders living alone utilize their cell phone more, the probability of the depression decreased. This result implies that elders living alone who utilize their cell phone more are engaged in social interaction more and this can lead to decrease in depression.

This study explores how the main variables of youth going through a transition period (parents' nurturing behavior, the youth's self-esteem and ego resilience, the peer group relationships) affect the youth's school adjustment. It also analyzes the effects of theses variables on the youth's dependence on cell phones, which are considered a necessity in modern society. This research is verified by using a structure model verification method based on data from the Korean Children Youth Panel Study. According to the research, first, 1st-year students in middle school show better adjustment to their school life and less dependence on cell phones when they have a stronger sense of self-esteem and ego resilience; further, it is revealed that cell phone dependence has an indirect influence on the school life of these children. Second, they tend to show better adjustment to their school life and less dependence on cell phones when their parents' nurturing behaviors are more positive. Third, these children tend to depend more on cell phones when they have a positive peer group relationship, Moreover, cell phone dependence has an indirect influence on their school life. When considering the impact of cell phone to youth in modern society, need to prepare proper training program for correct uses and preventing from addiction.
