  • This study has been carried out to investigate the cause and originative mechanism of vertigo by referring to 46 literatures. The results were as follows; 1. The 1st factors causing vertigo are exuberance of fire in the Liver (肝火偏亢). and ascending of Yang of Wind (風陽升動) resulting from thought excess (思慮太過) and melancholy (憂鬱). 2. The 2nd factors causing vertigo is a malnurtrient of the brain resulting from dispersion of the Liver function (肝血虛) and failure in ascending of the Clear Yang (淸陽不升) due to hemorrhage and so on. 3. The 3rd factors causing vertigo are failure in ascending to the Brain and deficiency of blood of the Liver (肝血虛) resulting from the injury of the essence of the Kidney (肝精虧損). 4. The 4th factors causing vertigo is a ascending of exogenous pathogenic factors (外邪) to the Brain on deficiency state. 5. The 1st factors causing vertigo are Stagnatum of clear Yang (淸陽不振) and pershing of Yang (亡陽) resulting from loss of water and damage of active thin body fluid (津氣虧損). 6. The obesity is beonged to excessiveness Symptom-Complex (實證) and the thin to deficiency Symptom-complex (虛證). 7. The vertigo is connective with the Live (肝), Spleen (脾) and the Kidney (腎), but among those, most intimative viscera is the Liver (肝).

  • In this study, the structural relationship among risk factors, safety motivation, and safety behavior perceived by telecommunications workers was empirically verified. A survey was conducted on field workers at S telecommunications companies in Korea, and the following major results were obtained. First, among the risk factors perceived by telecommunications workers, personal, cultural, and institutional factors were found to have significant positive effects on workers' safety motivation. Second, workers' safety motivation had a significant positive effect on safety behavior. Third, among the risk factors of telecommunications companies, personal, cultural, and institutional factors did not significantly affect workers' safety behavior. Fourth, all risk-causing factors perceived by workers, such as personal, cultural, and institutional factors, indirectly affected safety behavior through safety motivation. This study presents the importance of perceiving risk factors in the workplace to prevent and alleviate industrial accidents by examining the effects of riskcausing factors perceived by carrier workers on safety motivation and behavior.

They need to develop a special space that entertains customers, and entices them to visit and revitalize the off-line stores. This paper aims to analyze the experimental factors of stores, and how each of the factors impact customer experience in order to find out its effect on store satisfaction and store loyalty. Data was analyzed by using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. Results of this study are as follows. First, Visual, Tactile, and Gustatory are the main senses that influence the emotional experience of the customers on a store visit. Second, three factors that influenced customer experience in experimental fashion stores are 'Causing Interest', 'Causing Concern', and 'Causing Relationship.' Third, the 'Causing Interest' factor and the 'Causing Concern' factor showed positive correlation with store satisfaction, while the 'Causing Relationship' factor did not impact store satisfaction, which affected store loyalty. Fourth, each experimental fashion stores can have different effect to consumer satisfaction and loyalty. Also, fashion store brands without an experimental store can cause various effects to consumers when a flagship store with an array of product information is formed. The conclusion drawn from this study will provide a guideline for fashion stores attract faithful customers by improving their store environment.

  • This paper qualitatively analyzes the stereo 3D content factors causing viewer's discomfort. For this, we perform a subjective test that each subject strokes a specific key whenever he or she feels discomfort during watching stereo 3D contents. Also we extract the quantitative values of the factors in the 3D contents to obtain the temporal changes of the factors. Those two sets of data are used to analyze the contents to find the content factors which cause viewer's discomfort. The factors to be considered are the amount and the frequency of the disparity change, story of the contents, situation or environments of a scene, movement and position of the image or camera, color and luminance information as well as disparities themselves. Most researches have dealt with each factor causing viewer's discomfort but this paper focuses on the composite factors rather than each of them. That is, this paper deals with the various strong and weak factors and their composites causing viewer's discomfort in addition to the big disparities which have been mostly so far.

  • Successful implementations of domestic public construction projects have been increasingly concerned with the efforts to improve the inefficient execution. However, the existing factors causing the inefficient execution have been repeatedly occurred in many projects. This is because the previous studies have been concentrated on identifying the factors without in-depth analysis and systematic prioritization. This study has clarified the characteristics of the inefficient public construction projects, identified the causes, constructed their hierarchical structure, and analyzed the impacts on them. In particular, the critical factors causing the inefficient execution are prioritized by the outcomes derived from the questionnaire surveys, which is limited to the pre-construction stage. They are utilized in prioritizing the institutional and political improvements. However, in the future, the analytic and detailed guideline for remedying the factors causing the inefficient execution of a project should be studied, and their analysis will be extended to the construction stage.

  • This study developed evaluation indicators for the comfort experience of virtual reality (VR) headsets by classifying, defining, and weighting cybersickness-causing factors using the Delphi research method and analytic hierarchical process (AHP) approach. Four surveys were conducted with 20 experts on VR motion sickness. The expert surveys involved the 1) classification and definition of cybersickness-causing dimensions, classification of sub-factors for each dimension, and selection of evaluation indicators, 2) self-reassessment of the results of each step, 3) validity revaluation, and 4) final weighting calculation. Based on the surveys, the evaluation indicators for the comfort experience of VR headsets were classified into eight sub-factors: field of view (FoV)-device FoV, latency-device latency, framerate-device framerate, V-sync-device V-sync, rig-camera angle view, rig-no-parallax point, resolution-device resolution, and resolution-pixels per inch (PPI). A total of six dimensions and eight sub-factors were identified; sub-factor-based evaluation indicators were also developed.
