The purpose of this study was to develop case-based pedagogy in mathematics for elementary school teachers and to investigate how they participate in the course employing case-based pedagogy. The 13 cases were developed and employed in pre-service teacher education. As such, the cases covered all content areas across grades, and included detailed description of mathematics instruction, questions for discussion, theoretical review related to each case, focus analysis and additional analysis, etc. This paper describes in what ways the participant teachers discussed cases, how case-based pedagogy had an influence on the teachers' own instruction during the practicum period, and how they assessed case-based pedagogy. This paper provides issues and suggestions for the professional development of mathematics teachers on the basis of empirical background.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the development of a new Lesson Video-Case Lab (LVCL) program in Suzhou, China. This program involves the creation of several series of hypermedia video-cases on teaching and learning designed to facilitate mathematics teachers' professional development. Each of these video-cases consists of lesson clips, case questions, interviews with experts, comments by peers, responses by students and other related resources. The study has implications pertaining to the use of technology in teacher development, the production of hypermedia video-cases, as well as research on case-based pedagogy and pedagogy in general.

정보화의 진전에 따라 교육은 동일한 지식의 일방적 전달인 전통적인 교육에서 시 공간을 초월하여 학습자-내용간, 학습자-교수자간, 학습자-학습자간 다차원적으로 학습자 스스로가 자기 주도적으로 학습을 하는 양방향 교육 및 수요자 중심의 평생교육으로 전환되고 있다. 이러한 시대적 조류에 맞추어 학습자의 요구에 부응하는 교육방법론이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 학습자 주도의 상호 작용을 극대화할 수 있는 학습자 중심의 WBI를 활용한 실시간 원격교육 시스템을 제안한다. 학습자가 스스로 학습을 설계하고 계획하여 다양한 상호작용을 통하여 자기주도적으로 학습에 참여할 수 있는 개별학습과 학습자들의 건전한 토론과 대화의 장을 마련하여 모둠원들 간의 집단별 프로젝트 학습을 할 수 있도록 하였다.

본 연구는 진로교육 집중학년 학기제에서 진로개발역량 강화를 위한 가정교과통합 진로교육을 활성화하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 진로교육 집중학년 학기제에서 교과통합 진로교육의 동향, 고등학교 가정과 성취기준과 진로개발역량과의 관계 분석 및 가정교과통합 진로교육 방안을 탐색하고, 수업 사례를 개발하였다. 이 연구의 주요한 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로교육 집중학년 학기제에서 교과통합 진로교육의 중요성에도 불구하고 운영에 미흡한 점이 많다. 이에 2015 개정교육과정의 적용과 진로교육 집중학년 학기제의 확산을 앞두고 있는 시점에서 교과통합 진로교육을 위한 체계적인 준비가 요구된다. 둘째, 가정교과 3개 영역의 모든 성취기준은 진로개발역량과 관련성이 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 가정교과는 학교 진로교육의 목표를 달성하고, 미래 인재로서 갖추어야 할 진로개발역량을 길러주는 핵심적인 교과임을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 진로개발역량 강화를 위해 교육과정-교수 학습-평가의 연계를 중심으로 가정교과통합 진로수업 사례를 제시하였다. 본 연구의 제한점은 개발된 수업 사례를 현장에 적용하지 못해 그 효과를 확인하지 못한 것이다. 하지만 본 연구는 가정교과와 진로교육의 통합을 위한 기초 자료로서, 진로교육 집중학년 학기제에서 가정교과의 진로교육 활성화에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

이 연구는 전쟁사 과목에 대하여 2012년 2학기 15주 중 중간고사와 기말고사 주를 제외한 13주간 이루어졌으며 자료의 수집과 동시에 자료의 분석이 이루어졌다. 1개 학기 동안 경험적 연구를 통하여 전쟁사 강좌 문제중심학습법이 효율적이었는지에 대하여는 좀더 연구가 필요하다. 한 학기 동안의 분석해서 나온 개념에 대해서는 강의 시간을 이용하여 학생들과 대화를 가지는 시간을 통해 확인 및 타당화하는 과정을 가졌다. 학생은 1학년 1개반 45명을 대상으로 5명씩 조를 편성하여 9개조로 운영하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면, 초기 교육진행시에는 조별로 진행되는 집단학습의 적응과 학습과정의 불확실성, 제시된 상황에 대한 상황조치 방법 구체화 어려움, 군인이 되고자 하는 의지와 실제 지식의 부족에서 오는 자신감 결여, 조별 토의에서 자신의 역할 미흡에 대한 반성, 자가학습의 중요성과 필요성 인식, 실제 이론과 상황조치간의 괴리 등을 경험하였다. 수업의 중간에는 수업준비의 부담감, 지금 공부하는 것이 과연 임관 후 활용할 수 있을 것인가에 대한 회의감과 갈등, 그러면서도 교수의 지도에 따라 상황조치 완료후 만족감, 학습에 대한 확신감 등을 체험하였다. 수업의 말기에는 자긍심과 자신감 회복, 문제해결의 잠재력 향상, 임관 후 병사들 지도에 대한 자신감 등을 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 최근 교수법에 대하여 많은 대학에서 관심을 가지고 있다. 교수는 어떻게 학생들의 능력을 이끌어내고 향상시키는 것인가에 초점을 둔 교육을 지향해야 한다. 사회에서 요구하는 인재 양성을 위해 현 상황에서 적용할 수 있는 가장 이상적인 교수법이 무엇인가에 대한 과제는 계속 연구해야한다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a guidebook for teachers about coping behavior education in emergency situations for elementary school students. Method: Dick and Carey's teaching model (1996) and Keller's ARCS theory (1985) was applied to develop this guidebook. Results: The contents consist of subjects, reference materials for teachers, a case study, and worksheets for students. The contents of the 5 units are as follows: 1)Identifying a dangerous situation around the school area and in school, 2)Coping tips in dangerous situations that can occur at school, 3)Prevention and coping method of sexual violence, 4)Coping method for natural disasters, and 5)First aid in emergency situations. The presented case study was a real case scenario and the worksheets contained various activities initiated by students. Conclusions: This guidebook can be an effective tool in coping education classes for emergency situations at elementary schools. The goal of the guideline book is reach as many elementary schools as possible.

This research is as a case study of innovative engineering education system through idea factory of korea maritime and ocean university and deals with development of temperature-humidity control device (THCD) for fiber storage on composites in viewpoint of problem solving method. Fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) includes many variables on the composite manufacturing process. Above all, the interfacial adhesion between the fiber and the matrix acts as an important thing that decided mechanical property of the FRP, and also it is profoundly linked to external temperature and relative humidity. High void fraction leads to a result in interlaminar fracture. Therefore, in this research, to establish correlation between fiber reinforcement and fiber storage conditions of temperature and relative humidity we developed a THCD for fiber reinforcement. To evaluate performance of the THCD, glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) is made under the extreme conditions each temperature $34^{\circ}C$, relative humidity 98 % and it can be said that there are the change of mechanical properties according to fiber storage conditions. As a result, the THCD showed sufficient possible application for understanding and applied research of composites field in material engineering. Also, we could check that the necessity of introduction of innovative system such as idea factory existed.

In this work, we present a case study of using the assessments for the enhancement of students' learning motivation in engineering education. The assessments, given in between summative assessments such as midterms and finals, may have a component of formative evaluation, which are reported as very effective tools as the sources of feedback to improve teaching and learning. We studied how the students' performance is improved by additional tests in engineering education. Also, we examined the factors of successful results of the cooperative learning model, Student Teams-Achievement Division, which is based on imposing a number of tests, achieved in our previous work.

현재 교육에서 다양한 멀티미디어를 사용하는 것이 일반화되어 가고 있다. 그러나 ICT 환경에서 새롭게 등장하는 스마트한 멀티미디어로 인하여 교육현장이 더욱 스마트한 환경으로의 변화를 요구 받고 있다. 이러한 점에서 현재의 교육현장에서의 멀티미디어 환경에 대한 개선점을 알아보고, 새로운 형태의 스마트 멀티미디어를 활용한 교육의 사례를 살펴보고자 한다.

It is true that the social welfare center influences on the community service. The recent change of social environment has influence on the configuration of space for the community social welfare center. The social welfare center fills the role of family welfare, domiciliary care, community welfare, education culture etc. Education culture magnified, and it is acting role as the community education culture center by various program including cultural desire according to the modern request to the whole local resident. In such sense, this study explore the conditions of spatial configuration for the education culture unit of social welfare center in small city. For this study, it was investigated the space role and service funtion, the service program, the usage characteristics, the service importance. In sum, the useful data were collected, analyzed, and colligated by case study. Case study and analysis contents about education culture unit of social welfare center present the basic design data for the space plan of suitable social welfare center in small city.
