The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of career support and teacher relations of parents in order to determine the career determination of multicultural youths, and to confirm the influence of career preparation between parental career and care support and teacher relations. To this end, data from 2017 (the 7th year) was used among the data from the Multicultural Youth Panel Survey (MAPS). According to the analysis results, first, career support, teacher relations, and career preparation of multicultural youth parents have a positive impact on career determination. Second, the importance of the relative influence of career preparation, which is an internal context factor, was also confirmed in the process of determining the career path of multicultural youths. Third, it was analyzed that the higher the career and childcare support of multicultural youth parents, the more positive the teacher relationship, the higher the career determination. Career preparation was confirmed to play a role in mediating career support and teacher relations among multicultural youth parents in determining career paths. Based on the results of this analysis, practical alternatives were proposed to enhance the career determination of multicultural youths.

Purpose: This study was intended to evaluate the effect of nurse image, satisfaction with one's major and career decision-making self-efficacy on career preparation behavior of first-year nursing students. Methods: A total of 134 first-year nursing students were enrolled in this study. Data were collected from March 25 to April 5, 2024. Data collected prospectively were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. Results: Career preparation behavior showed a significantly positive correlation with nurse image (r=.28, p=.001), satisfaction with one's major (r=.41, p<.001) and career decision-making self-efficacy(r=.61, p<.001). Career decisionmaking self-efficacy showed a significantly positive correlation with nurse image (r=.59, p<.001), satisfaction with one's major (r=.70, p<.001). Satisfaction with one's major showed a significantly positive correlation with nurse image (r=.66, p<.001). Career preparation behavior was significantly affected by nurse in the family and relatives (β=-.21, p=.003) and career decision-making self-efficacy (β=.64, p<.001), which had an explanatory power of 41.0%. Conclusion: To establish career preparation behavior in first-year nursing students, it is necessary to develop a variety of systematic educational programs to enhance career decision-making self-efficacy.

This study investigates the relationship between the social supports & the transformational leadership from career mentors and high school students' GRIT & career preparation behavior. The purpose of this study was to provide baseline data for Development of Career-program so that they can provide effective career advice to students, through analyzing preceding researches that highlight the impact from career mentors on students' GRIT and career preparation behavior. For this study, the questionnaires for students' GRIT & career preparation behavior were completed by 257 sophomore high school students participating in the career mentor program. also, This data was analyzed to find student's perception of social supports and transformational leadership from career mentors. Correlation analysis was used to investigate the relationship among four variable(GRIT, career preparation behavior, career mentor's social supports, career mentor's transformational leadership) and regression analysis was used to find the influence from the career mentor's social supports and career mentor's transformational leadership on student's GRIT & career preparation behavior. The result showed the change of students' GRIT & career preparation behavior have risen on average. Also, it showed the change of students' career preparation behavior is influenced by career mentor's emotional support, informational support and individualized consideration. Lastly, the change of students' GRIT is influenced by career mentor's emotional support, appraisal support and individualized consideration. This result was able to identify the relationship and influence of career mentor who were limited to social support by their parents and teachers. And, it suggests that the appropriate social supports need to be provided to students by understanding the type of social supports that meet student's expectations.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify the social responsibility, self-leadership, and career-preparation behavior of fourth-year students graduating from the 4-year program of the department of dental technology and provide basic data for developing specific methods and related programs to help graduates adopt positive and active career preparation behavior. Methods: The final analysis was performed using 143 questionnaires from fourth-year students of the 4-year department of dental technology at Gyeonggi-do, Gangwon-do, and Busan Metropolitan City. T-tests, analysis of variance, correlation analysis, and linear regression analysis were performed in IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 21.0 (IBM). Results: A significant positive correlation was found (p<0.01) between social responsibility, self-leadership, and career preparation behavior factors, and the detailed factors of self-leadership that influence career preparation behavior, "attitude" (p<0.05), "natural reward strategies" (p<0.001), "behavior-focused strategies" (p<0.01), and "constructive thought pattern strategies" (p<0.01) demonstrated significant relationships. The explanatory power values of the models were 50.7% and 52.9%, respectively. Conclusion: This study concluded that to improve career preparation behaviour, social participation through various major volunteer activities is needed to ensure students feel professional responsibility and guide and encourage participation in various self-development programs during their time in university. In addition, universities and departments need to develop step-by-step and various career-preparation behavior programs for each year level.

This study aimed to examine the mediating effects of career decision-making self-efficacy in the relation between participation behavior and career preparation behavior in adolescents. Using the data of 1,077 adolescents residing in J region, this study used the path analysis to see the mediating effect of career decision-making self-efficacy. According to the results, participation behavior and career decision-making self-efficacy had direct effects on career preparation behavior. And mediated by career decision-making self-efficacy, participation behavior had indirect effect on career preparation behavior. This study examined the mediating effect of career decision-making self-efficacy of adolescents, which can be the significance of this study in terms of overcoming the limit of presenting direct effects of factors on career preparation behavior. On the basis of the results, convergency suggestions to increase the participation behavior, career decision-making self-efficacy and career preparation behavior of adolescents were discussed.

This study attempted to grasp the causal relationship, focusing on the double mediating effect of career identity and career decision self-efficacy in the relationship between grit and career preparation behavior. Data were collected by a self-entry method using structured questionnaire for dental hygiene student in area B. And it was analyzed using SPSS and Process Macro. The biggest factor directly influencing career preparation behavior was career identity, followed by grit and career decision self-efficacy. Through path analysis, grit indirectly had a significant influence on career preparation behavior through the mediating sense of career identity and the sense of career identity and career decision self-efficacy. This suggests that grit and career identity should be enhanced for active career preparation behavior, so it is intended to be used as basic data for career education contents development for college students majoring in dental hygiene.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify personal, contextual, and cognitive factors influencing the career preparation behavior of Korean nursing students. In this study, an examination was done of the fitness of a path model for the relationship among these factors based on the social cognitive career theory. Methods: The participants were 413 nursing students in South Korea. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires that included self-esteem, social support, self-efficacy, outcome expectation, career decision level, and career preparation behavior. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and path analysis. Results: The factors influencing career preparation behavior were self-efficacy, career decision level, self-esteem, outcome expectation, and social support. The factors influencing career decision level were self-efficacy, outcome expectation, self-esteem, and social support. Conclusion: The findings indicate that self-efficacy is an important factor influencing the career behavior of Korean nursing students. Nurse educators should consider personal, contextual, and cognitive factors of nursing students and develop systemic career guidance programs to help nursing students' career preparation behavior.

This study aims to show what influence a career group counseling program has on the career attitude maturity in female college students and their career preparation behavior. As a result of the study, it was discovered that there was a statistically significant difference in determinacy and readiness in the sub-areas of career attitude maturity while there was no significant difference in reality. Also, there was a statistically significant difference in exploration and preparatory behavior in sub-areas of the career preparation behavior. Such results indicate that the career group counseling program had a significant influence in the career attitude maturity and their career preparation behavior. Therefore, this study suggests that to enhance the career attitude maturity in female college students and their career preparation behavior, further organized research on career group counseling programs is needed and its utilization should be increased.

This study conducted a survey of 330 students participating in the extracurricular curriculum program at K University in Chungcheongbuk-do to analyze the impact of extracurricular satisfaction and career decision self-efficacy on career preparation behavior. The main results and implications are as follows. First, the positive perception of participation in extracurricular curriculum programs had a significant impact on career preparation behavior. Second, high career decision self-efficacy was related to active career preparation behavior. It is necessary to provide continuous career program support, provide counseling tailored to the needs of each student, and establish a systematic career diagnosis system. This study is limited to extracurricular curriculum program participants and has limitations in generalization. Comparative and analytical research is needed by measuring the performance of various educational programs conducted in universities. It is necessary to support the development and operation of various extracurricular curriculum programs that reflect the needs of society and students and to prepare continuous quality management measures.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the individual variables that influence the behavior of college students who successfully set career goals, plan for achieving goals, and specifically practice them. As a result of analyzing the relationship between career stress, career decision-making self-efficacy, career motivation, and career preparation behavior through a survey of 300 four-year college students nationwide, career stress negatively affected career self-efficacy, career decision-making self-efficacy had a positive effect on career motivation, and career motivation had a positive effect on career preparation behavior. In addition, career decision-making self-efficacy and career motivation sequentially mediated between career stress and career preparation behavior. It is significant that college students found personal variables necessary to successfully prepare for career and confirmed the relationship between the variables through the results of this study.
