삼성전관의 6시그마 추진사례 (Six Sigma Campaign of Samsung Display Device)

  • 6 Sigma is defined as the state of "defect free quality" with only 3.4 defective, goods out of 1 million. Samsung Display Device(SDD) was quick to embark on a new way of quality innovation. The goals of 6 Sigma campaign are established on the foundation of customer satisfaction such as quality, cost and service. Production field of SDD has a special 6 Sigma campaign, SQM(Standard Quality Management). Quality qualification system is introduced and implemented with strong reinforcement. C-S-I(Chart-Solve-Implement) model which was made by Dr. Bajaria(1991) is adopted for the project. All the workers of company will be encouraged to participate in the drive.

  • This research evaluated the present condition of the family voluntary service group and healthy family campaign, which was being carried out as one of the healthy family culture businesses of the Healthy Family-Support Center. Furthermore, it suggests ways to improve these business activities. Research centered on the analysis of business documents created between December 2006 and November 2007. The results were as follows. First, the family voluntary service group and the healthy family campaign business in the Center must be able to have specificity or individuality. Second, the Center must manage the scale, frequency, and contents of the businesses systematically. Third, the businesses must concern themselves with family life in general, make better use of the advisory committee or steering committee, concern variety of business performing system.

  • With society becoming more advanced and complex, the required management engineering makes essential the development of human resources that can propose solutions for problems of new phenomena from a different perspective. As an example of such phenomena, we note a consumer electronics 'Eco-point' system campaign in this study. To mitigate global warming, revitalize the economy, and encourage the adoption of terrestrial digital compatible TVs, the consumer electronics Eco-point system campaign was implemented in May 2009 in Japan. In this study, we note a model which is constant term with exponential curve with notion of the growth phenomenon (Nakagiri and Kurita, Journal of the Operations Research Society of Japan, 2002). In our study, we call this model the 'differential equation model of the growth phenomenon.' This model represents a phenomenon with a hierarchical structure for capturing the properties of n species. In this study, we propose a new model which can represent not only the impact of largescale campaigns but also seasonal factors. Accordingly, we understand the phenomenon of fluctuation of sales of some products caused by large-scale campaigns and predict the fluctuation of sales. The final goal of this study is to develop human resources that can propose provision and solution for pre-consumption and reactionary decline in demand by understanding the impact of large-scale campaigns. As the first step of this goal, our objective is to propose a new regression method with different conventional perspective that can describe the fluctuation of sales caused by large-scale campaigns and show the possibility of new management engineering education.

중국의 '문건·당안 일체화' 개념 분석 (An Analysis for basic Concepts of The Integrated Management of Records and Archives in China)

  • This paper analyses the theories and practices of the integrated management of records and archives in china which means that records and archives management departments should be interrelated each other with organic association and their records and archives be managed in an integrated manner. In 1930s chinese nationalist regime had conducted a campaign for reforming documents and archives management system to increase administrative efficiency called "The Connection of Documents and Archives Management Act(文書檔案連鎖法)". Although this campaign has not been continued to the present, It has been proved to be a quite successful attempt at that time in china and also regarded as an origin of the integrated management of records and archives in china. The practical types of the integrated management of records and archives as follows: first is to establish institutional documents/archives department in charge of managing records and archives in an integrative manner; second, to reform filing system, that is, to file on a case basis or abolish filing system and arrange records on an item level instead; third, to install software application for the integrated management of records and archives in order to make arranging operations convenient by increasing data processing efficiency. The chinese case shows us that the integrated management of records and archives could not be realized until records and archives departments make united efforts to build up a new national records and archives management system based on advanced and scientific principles.

고객 스코어링 캠페인 시스템 개발에 대한 연구 (A Study on Development of Scoring Campaign System)

  • 최근 대부분 기업에서는 통합 데이터베이스 정보를 모델화하고 이를 전략적으로 활용하는 움직임이 가속화되고 있다. 이는 고객과의 커뮤니케이션 및 관계유지로 대변되는 CRM(Customer Relationship Management)이 기업들의 가장 중요한 이슈 중 하나로 부각되고 있기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 이런 관점에서 CRM의 핵심 요소인 데이터 마이닝 기법을 이용하여 개발한 고객 스코어링 모델을 마케팅 층(Marketing Layer)에 연결해주는 스코어링 캠페인 시스템을 개발 하고자 한다. 개발한 시스템은 고객 스코어링 결과 및 캠페인 대상자 선정 작업을 쉽게 할 수 있도록 GUI환경에서 제공해 줌으로서 일반 사용자들이 쉽게 활용할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • The increasing interest in CubeSat platforms ant their capability of enlarging the frontier of possible missions impose technology improvements. Miniaturized electrical propulsion (EP) systems enable new mission for multi-unit CubeSats (6U+). While electric propulsion systems have achieved important level of knowledge at equipment level, the investigation of the mutual impact between EP system and CubeSat technology at system level can provide a decisive improvement for both the technologies. The interaction between CubeSat and EP system should be assessed in terms of electromagnetic emissions (both radiated and conducted), thermal gradients, high electrical power management, surface chemical deposition, and quick and reliable data exchanges. This paper shows how a versatile CubeSat Test Platform (CTP), together with standardized procedures and specialized facilities enable the acquisition fundamental and unprecedented information. Measurements can be taken both by specific ground support equipment placed inside the vacuum facility and by dedicated sensors and subsystems installed on the CTP, providing a completely new set of data never obtained before. CTP is constituted of a 6U primary structure hosting the EP system, representative CubeSat avionics and batteries. For the first test campaign, CTP hosts the ambipolar plasma propulsion system, called Regulus and developed by T4I. After the integration and the functional test in laboratory environment, CTP + Regulus performed a Test campaign in relevant environment in the vacuum chamber at CISAS, University of Padua. This paper is focused on the test campaign description and the main results achieved at different power levels for different duration of the firings.

소비자보호를 위한 자동차결함제도의 개선연구 (A Study of Korean Vehicle Recall System Reforms)

  • In the United States, when NHTSA initiates the vehicle defect investigation, the most of automotive manufactures voluntary start their vehicle's recall campaign immediately. However, in the domestic market, NGOs, medias and even the National Assembly complaint the attitude of domestic and foreign makers tendencies of retardation of recall campaign. Also there were criticism for the manufacturer's concealing or downsize of their vehicle defects to the publics. In general, the manufactures may wait until MLIT's decision to recall orders. Therefore, in this study, from the survey of foreign countries legal recall systems and it is recommended reinforcement of the current vehicle management law to promote more frequent voluntary recall campaign from makers. In this study, it is also includes summarize all previous recall related research works and proposes the more stringent regulations to punish of concealing or downsize their vehicle safety defects.

  • 과학의 발전과 함께 미디어 매체 또한 발전하였고, 이를 활용한 여러 분야 중 선거를 위한 홍보 전략 역시 점차 진화하였다. 미디어가 발달함에 따라 커뮤니케이션이 더욱 부각되어가고 있는 현재, 유권자들은 스마트 디바이스 어플리케이션을 활용하여 원활한 소통을 바탕으로 유권자들에게 더욱 적극적으로 다가가려 하고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구에서는 변화하는 선거 현장에 맞추고, 체계적으로 선거 활동을 지원할 수 있는 구글의 FCM 푸시 서비스를 기반으로 정보 시스템을 개발하고 적용하여 시스템이 영향을 주는 변수가 무엇인지 실증분석을 통하여 선거 과정의 목표를 달성하는 것에 도움이 되고자 한다. 후보자 소통 유도 푸시 어플리케이션의 전체 시스템은 유권자 어플리케이션과 관리 시스템으로 구성된다. 관리 시스템은 메시지 전송 이력 열람과 메시지 관리, 어플리케이션의 직접 관리 기능을 포함한다. 이 시스템을 통해 기존의 방법들보다 더욱 진보된 기법을 활용한 푸시 시스템으로 어플리케이션을 관리할 수 있어 선거 홍보 효율성 향상에 기여 및 선거 목표달성에 도움을 줄 것으로 사료된다.

명예산업안전감독관 제도의 운영현황 및 개선방향 (The Improvement Direction of the Honorary Industrial Safety Supervisor System)

  • Though the Honorary Industrial Safety Supervisor System was activated from 1995, the system did not show the better effectiveness due to the unconcern of top management and the insufficient support of government etc. The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems of the system and to present the improvement direction of that system. The research result points out that we have to consider the following countermeasures; First, the government should make up the support system by a law dealing with proper compensation and professional education for the supervisor, and tax reduction for companies. Second, the companies should make an effort firming up the safety consciousness of top management, and strengthening the employees' concern about safety through continuous safety education and campaign by a labor union, and promoting the supervisor's pride through recognition from top management and other employees.

The threat of Monkeypox in the Philippines: another problematic preparation and management for the healthcare system?

  • The Philippines is still in a tight battle with the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic since many cases are detected daily. With the continuous spread of another disease worldwide-monkeypox, many Filipinos are alarmed if the country's healthcare system is prepared enough, especially with the detection of its first case. Learning from the unfortunate experiences of the country during the current pandemic is essential in facing another health crisis. With this, recommendations for a robust healthcare system are proposed centered on: a massive digital information campaign about the disease; training healthcare workers to raise awareness about the virus and its transmission, management, and treatment; an intensified surveillance and detection procedure to monitor cases and execute contact tracing properly; and a persistent procurement of vaccines and drugs for treatment, with a well-designed vaccination program.
