  • We study commutants of Toeplitz operators acting on the Dirichlet space of the unit disk and prove that an operator in the Toeplitz algebra commuting with a Toeplitz operator with a nonconstant polynomial symbol must be a Toeplitz operator with an analytic symbol.

  • The $m{\times}n$ Boolean matrix A is said to be of Boolean rank r if there exist $m{\times}r$ Boolean matrix B and $r{\times}n$ Boolean matrix C such that A = BC and r is the smallest positive integer that such a factorization exists. We consider the the sets of matrix ordered pairs which satisfy extremal properties with respect to Boolean rank inequalities of matrices over nonbinary Boolean algebra. We characterize linear operators that preserve these sets of matrix ordered pairs as the form of $T(X)=PXP^T$ with some permutation matrix P.

  • In this paper, we will prove the superstability of the following generalized Pexider type exponential equation $${f(x+y)}^m=g(x)h(y)$$, where $f,g,h\;:\;G{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$ are unknown mappings and $m$ is a fixed positive integer. Here G is an Abelian group (G, +), and $\mathbb{R}$ the set of real numbers. Also we will extend the obtained results to the Banach algebra. The obtained results are generalizations of P. G$\check{a}$vruta's result in 1994 and G. H. Kim's results in 2011.

  • In this paper, we use a generalized Brownian motion process to define a generalized Feynman integral and a generalized Fourier-Feynman transform. We also define the concepts of the multiple Lp analytic generalized Fourier-Feynman transform and the generalized convolution product of functional on function space $C_{a,\;b}[0,\;T]$. We then verify the existence of the multiple $L_{p}$ analytic generalized Fourier-Feynman transform for functional on function space that belong to a Banach algebra $S({L_{a,\;b}}^{2}[0, T])$. Finally we establish some relationships between the multiple $L_{p}$ analytic generalized Fourier-Feynman transform and the generalized convolution product for functionals in $S({L_{a,\;b}}^{2}[0, T])$.

  • We study the vectors related tro states on the Cuntz algebra Ο(sub)n and prove hat, for tow states $\omega$ and $\rho$ on Ο(sub)n with $\omega$│UHF(sub)n = $\rho$│UHF(sub)n, if ($\omega$(s$_1$), …, $\omega$(s(sub)n)) and ($\rho$(s$_1$),…, $\rho$(s(sub)n)) are unit vectors, then they and linearly dependent. We also study the linear functional on Ο(sub)n associated to a sequence of unit vectors in C(sup)n which is the generalization of the Cuntz state. We show that if the linear functional associated to a sequence of unit vectors with a certain condition is a state, then it is just the Cuntz state.

  • Let V be an arbitrary system of weights on an open connected subset G of ${\mathbb{C}}^N(N{\geq}1)$ and let B (E) be the Banach algebra of all bounded linear operators on a Banach space E. Let $HV_b$ (G, E) and $HV_0$ (G, E) be the weighted locally convex spaces of vector-valued analytic functions. In this paper, we characterize self-analytic mappings ${\phi}:G{\rightarrow}G$ and operator-valued analytic mappings ${\Psi}:G{\rightarrow}B(E)$ which generate weighted composition operators and invertible weighted composition operators on the spaces $HV_b$ (G, E) and $HV_0$ (G, E) for different systems of weights V on G. Also, we obtained compact weighted composition operators on these spaces for some nice classes of weights.

  • A continuous linear operator T, on the space of entire functions in d variables, is PDE-preserving for a given set $\mathbb{P}\;\subseteq\;\mathbb{C}|\xi_{1},\ldots,\xi_{d}|$ of polynomials if it maps every kernel-set ker P(D), $P\;{\in}\;\mathbb{P}$, invariantly. It is clear that the set $\mathbb{O}({\mathbb{P}})$ of PDE-preserving operators for $\mathbb{P}$ forms an algebra under composition. We study and link properties and structures on the operator side $\mathbb{O}({\mathbb{P}})$ versus the corresponding family $\mathbb{P}$ of polynomials. For our purposes, we introduce notions such as the PDE-preserving hull and basic sets for a given set $\mathbb{P}$ which, roughly, is the largest, respectively a minimal, collection of polynomials that generate all the PDE-preserving operators for $\mathbb{P}$. We also describe PDE-preserving operators via a kernel theorem. We apply Hilbert's Nullstellensatz.

  • Let R be a 5!-torsion free semiprime ring, and let $D:R{\rightarrow}R$ be a Jordan derivation on a semiprime ring R. Then $[D(x),x]D(x)^2=0$ if and only if $D(x)^2[D(x), x]=0$ for every $x{\in}R$. In particular, let A be a Banach algebra with rad(A) and if D is a continuous linear Jordan derivation on A, then we show that $[D(x),x]D(x)2{\in}rad(A)$ if and only if $D(x)^2[D(x),x]{\in}rad(A)$ for all $x{\in}A$ where rad(A) is the Jacobson radical of A.

  • In this paper we introduce and study the concept of of (${\varphi}$, ${\psi}$)-am-enability of a locally compact group G, where ${\varphi}$ is a continuous homomorphism on G and ${\psi}:G{\rightarrow}{\mathbb{C}}$ multiplicative linear function. We prove that if the group algebra $L^1$ (G) is (${\tilde{\varphi}}$, ${\tilde{\psi}}$)-amenable then G is (${\varphi}$, ${\psi}$)-amenable, where ${\tilde{\varphi}}$ is the extension of ${\varphi}$ to M(G). In the case where ${\varphi}$ is an isomorphism on G it is shown that the converse is also valid.
