This project of total city plan is developed for the area of DONGDAEGU station in the field of new city-core which is adapted for a forefront city and rational restructuring of the city space and improving for balanced growth according to the first phase operation of Korean high speed line and its complete construction to BUSAN. Bring a new heart of this city of the area of DONGDAEGU station which is a gateway to DAEGU city so that the area contrives a new creation of the city space, balanced developing and activation of a region economy. Deliberate for plan of private capital for harmonious to develop a territory of station therefore it raises an emblem of DAEGU city and activates an economy of the city according to the new trend of the condition of transportation integrated administration of a large regionand new development of DONGDAEGU station.

The aim of this study is to propose the plausibility of Ship-repair industry brand in the global market. It has been argued that it is necessary to secure the identity of company because of the expansion of international market in the age of globalization. Authors of this paper have considered that the brand is a solution for global ship-repair industry's development in Busan region with focusing on the 5 elements (Salience, Imagery, Performance, Feeling, and Judgments) of Keller's brand equity block except Resonance. As a result, we presented the roles of company for securing the brand equity in ship-repair industry comparing with the elements of Keller's brand equity block. and implied the plausibility of global ship-repair industry's development. Especially, Securing the licences and certifications related to ship-repair industry is very important thing about the brand equity.

The aim of the present study is to research how the main factors for the export of SMEs affect SME's Export possibility in structural method. 62 SMEs in Busan Region were participated in this study. For the empirical analysis, a multiple regression analysis and a path analysis were used with Spss18 and Amos 5v to figure out the relationship between the main factors and SME's Export possibility(SEP). The main factors as variances are "Manpower Needs(MN)", "Technology Innovation Needs(TIN)", "Education Needs for Export(ENE)" and "Intention of Decision-Maker(IDM)". The result indicated that ENE and TIN with IDM could structurally affect SEP through path analysis and implies that the main factors have to be considered with the intention of decision-maker as CEO for the successful export of SMEs.

A dilatometer was used to investigate the effect of cure conditions and the presence of filler in an epoxy system. These studies showed shrinkage in the cured epoxy when heating it through the glass transition temperature region. The magnitude of the shrinkage, related to stress build up in the epoxy during curing, was influenced by the processing conditions, filler presence and the nature of the mold used to contain the resin. Cure and cyclic cure at a lower temperature, prior to a post cure, decreased the magnitude of observed shrinkage. Cure shrinkage decreased with number of cyclic cure. Post cured samples outside the mold led to less shrinkage compared with sample in the mold. And sample containing kaolin filler showed less shrinkage than unfilled sample.

We describe and illustrate five species of shrimp of the genus Solenocera, collected from the Korean exclusive economic zone (EEZ) between 2001 and 2003 and a commercial seafood market in Busan, South Korea, in 2005. Four of these species, S. alticarinata Kubo 1949, S. comata Stebbing 1915, S. koelbeli De Man 1911, and S. pectinulata Kubo 1949, are new records for the Koreas. The fifth, S. melantho De Man 1907, is a ubiquitous and commercially important species in the region. This report extends the known range of S. pectinulata to Jeju Island in the East China Sea. A key to these species is presented.

The true cuttlefishes genus Sepia (Doratosepion) Linne, 1758, characterized by shell thick, entirely calcareous, shell almost as long as mantle, was collected from the coastal of Dong-Am, Busan, Korea in April, 2004. The specimen agreed closely with description of Sepia (Doratosepion) kobiensis Hoyle, 1885 and S. tokioensis Ortmann, 1888. We herein described the species, being as the first record of S. kobiensis and tokioensis from the region. New Korean names are also provided.

The railroad noise has been considered as one of environment pollution and complaints about it have been increasing every you. Therefore, the establishment of railroad noise monitoring network is necessary. It will be designed for monitoring railroad noise, storing data of railroad noise continuously and providing the fundamental knowledge for the measures of railroad noise. For this, we investigated the actual condition of railroad noise and status of noise level by floor in apartments around the capital region, Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju, and Busan. Additionally, we present the basic data that will be used for predicting the noise level near railroad in the environmental impact assessment

In the analysis of thin elastic structures such as plate and shell-like structures, classical lower-order theories like Kirchhoff and Reissner-Mindin theories are insufficient to describe the behavior of such structures in the region where the state of stresses is complex. On the other hand, the fully three dimensional theory of linear elasticity can provide desired analysis accuracy, but requires expensive computational implementation compared to the classical theories. This paper is concerned with the development of hierarchical models for elastic structures which can be used for hierarchical modeling for the analysis of such structures. Derivation and limit model analysis (when the thickness of structures tends to zero) of hierarchical models are presented together with a introduction of modeling error estimation. Also, numerical results supporting theoretical results are given.

The paper draws the scales of supply and shortages of port logistics area's human resources based upon the future prospect of its supply and demand. Due to the problems that we face today with human resources training and inequality between the levels of demand and supply, introduction of a new training system by local universities and their overall improvement are brought up as the needs of the times. In order for these to happen, the local universities need to assure originality by specializing Port Logistics area. They need to develop demand-oriented port logistics education programs through establishment of cooperation among the universities, as well as expand qualitative and quantitative improvement their educational programs. In addition the local universities have to act as the central of nurturing local talents by developing an educational-governmental cooperation, leading port & logistics' educational policy as think-tank and producting ready-to-work talent.

After-school activities of 817 7th grade children from Kwangju, Busan, and Kumi were studied to determine relations with (a) child, family and contextual variables (b) child's academic achievement and social development. Children were more likely to engage in extracurriculum activites and TV watching than other after-school activities. After-school activities were related to child's, parent's and contextual variables. Child's characteristics related to after-school activities were sex, impulse control, mastery and self-care. family's characteristics related to after-school activities were mother's employment, emotional support, control, monitoring and SES. Region and regional sagy were related to after-school activities. Some of after-school activities were related child's academic achievement and social development. Especially academic activites have a positive and powerful effects on child's academic achievement and social development.
