A Study on the Early-Stage Financing Scale for Building Small & Medium Business (창업 중소.벤처기업의 초기자금 규모 설정에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims at examining the early-stage financing scale for entrepreneur to build small & medium business. The data was collected from the DART (Data Analysis, Retrieval and Transfer System) of Korean Financial Supervisory Service(FSS) in the main. The results of this study show that small & medium business needs equipment & operation financing for about 37 months extent to reach Break-Even Point. The limitations of this study are data collections from registered firms on Korean FSS primarily and no showing about the early stage financing scale for building small & Medium Business concretely. Small & Medium business entrepreneur have to make a early stage finance plan according to a necessary equipment and operating cost in their business field for 37 months extent.

  • In free-formed formwork, there is a problem that the productivity of the construction is deteriorated due to the expensive form, the long manufacturing period, and the high degree of construction difficulty. In order to solve these limitations, there is a need to research improvement from the phase of manufacturing free-formed form. Therefore, this study is to derive significant technical characteristics using QFD approach as a preliminary study to develop manufacturing system of the free-formed form for improving the productivity of free-formed construction formwork. This study employs the QFD to reflect users' needs into technical characteristics, and analyze correlation between users' requirements and the technical characteristics, then weights them by their importance.

A Study on a Performance evaluation for Quality Liguid Siliceous of Waterproof agent (액상형 규산질계 침투성 방수재의 성능평가에 관한 연구)

  • There are many factors that generate the early deterioration of the concrete structure. As the one of the representative factors, we can think an invasion of the water, air and so on. The water and air invade in inside void along the capillarity and they become the cause that the durability like corrosion of layer department due to freezing and thawing, inside steel frame corrosion, and so on blacks. Therefore with covering permeability covering waterproofing material of fluid condition in outer wall, intercepting the deterioration factor due to the infiltration of water from outside and for salt damage of concrete layer department, freezing damage and neutralization, it needs, to improve durability of structure. This study separately examined physical and chemical specific of quality liguid siliceous of waterproofing material. Therefore as this applys the construction site, it improves the durability of concrete structure. Further this presents the application plan from the construction market against the new material.

  • Since the diversification, complication of the construction industry, construction conflicts have been increased these days. Expansion of scale of construction has brought conflict treatment cost increase. Thus, needs of the study on construction conflict risk factors and its management is getting important. But the existing studies about construction conflicts and risk factors that need to be cared to decrease construction cost are almost focused on analysis of number of conflict proposed. It means those studies can be helpful when want to know how many conflict have been instituted, however, they do not contain a close examination between types of conflict and cost of conflict treatment. The purpose of this study, therefore, is an extraction of conflict causes based on the conflict treatment cost and the choice of significant risk factors to be managed to prevent conflict and its treatment cost, which enables reducing the conflict treatment colt on control the risk factors.

  • This study deals with characterization and the application of magnetoelasticity as a device which measures existing steel stress. Available method of measuring existing stress needs break the concrete and cut the steel bar. But Proposed method doesn't need to cut the steel bar. A successful application of magnetoelasticity depends on the linearity of the relationship between the elastic and magnetic response due to loading. To investigate the correlation between two, steel bars are loaded in tension under uniaxial loading while the magnetic reading is recorded. Results showed linearity or partial-linearity of the elastic behavior of steel bars in relation to magnetic change. In the paper, the various factors affecting the measurements are also discussed.

  • The formwork is very important in terms of time and cost of construction project. There have been ample research efforts regarding to technical issues such as types, specifications, and productivities. However, no previous research has addressed managerial requirements of the formwork. Thus, this paper investigated the present status of form work analyzing a case-study company, and derived an improvement plan for the formwork. The findings includes 1) the needs for increasing use of system forms in order to improve the quality and the safety and 2) further development of management system of formwork in order to enhance the efficiency.

  • The problem of water leakage due to damaging waterproof in concrete structure, causes the impediment in a long term and shortened the life span of durability. There are a lot of techniques for repair and reinforcement to improve using environment. However, the improper construction which is unconsidered various environmental conditions, could effect to increase the maintenance expenses. Therefore, this study will be compared and estimated the adhesion liquid and sheet integrate waterproofing material, as analyzing the existing problem. For those result, we would like to arrange the alterative plan for the long durability and user needs of concrete structure.

  • The specialty of Construction Manager's work is largely depends on the project progress stage and the type of management work. However, at present, career management system manages only the type and duration of the construction project, disregarding specialty and competence. However, in order to select a right construction manager for the client's needs or project characteristics, career management should be subdivided and managed according to the project progress stages or the types of management. In addition, this career management plan is essential for construction managers to receive appropriate wages for their careers and competences. Therefore, this study proposes a classification system for the integration of career, work, and competency to promote effective career management.
