라벤더, 로즈마리, 레몬밤을 이용한 생쥐의 아토피피부염모델에 대한 효과 (The Effect of Essential Oil on Atopic Dermatitis Model of NC/Nga Mice)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to evaluate the effect of blending oils on atopic dermatitis (AD) model of NC/Nga mice. Methods: Adult NC/Nga mice were assigned to 1 of 3 groups: control group (C, n=8), experimental group [AD-induced group, blending oil-treated group (E=8, 8)]. Mice in the E group were given a treatment of blending oils such as Lavender, Rosemary and Lemon Balm (LRL) for 2 sessions (every day) for 6 days. Results: The AD-induced mice with LRL blending oils treatment showed a significant decrease in epidermal thickness, number of mast cells and degranulation, expression of TNF-${\alpha}$ and scoring of sensual assessment. Conclusion: LRL blending oils may be a putative resource for the cure of or treatment of AD by the diminution of AD-pathological factors such as the epidermal thickness, the number of mast cells and degranulation as well as the expression of TNF-${\alpha}$.

근적외분광분석법과 라만분광분석법을 이용한 트리메부틴말레인산 서방정의 혼합 과정 모니터링 (Real-time monitoring for blending uniformity of trimebutine CR tablets using near-infrared and Raman spectroscopy)

  • 본 연구에서는 위장관에 작용하는 트리메부틴말레인산염을 주성분으로 하는 서방정의 제조 과정 중 혼합과정의 혼합 진행 정도의 확인에 근적외분광분석법과 라만분광분석법을 적용하였다. 서방정의 제조의 혼합 과정에서 소량의 부형제로 콜로이달실리콘디옥사이드, 탈크, 스테아르산, 스페타르산마그네슘을 넣어 혼합하는 과정에서, 각 혼합 시간 별, 혼합기 내에서 구역 별 혼합물 시료를 채취한 후 주성분(active ingredient)인 트리메부틴말레인산염의 양을 HPLC로 분석하였고, 동시에 채취한 시료의 근적외스펙트럼과 라만스펙트럼을 측정하여 PCA (Principal Component Analysis)를 수행하였다. 혼합기로는 U자형 혼합기를 사용하였고, 상, 중, 하와 좌, 우 각각 6개의 영역에서 시료를 채취하여 주성분과 부형제의 분포에 따른 혼합물의 균일도를 확인하고자 하였다. HPLC법으로는 소량의 부형제의 혼합을 주성분을 분석하는 것으로 시간에 따른 혼합도를 확인할 수 없는 반면, 근적외스펙트럼과 라만 스펙트럼에서는 주성분과 각각의 부형제의 특징적인 피크들을 확인할 수 있었고, 이러한 특징적인 흡광도를 가진 영역을 이용하여 전체 혼합물에서의 부형제 영향에 의한 변화를 PCA를 수행하여 혼합의 진행 정도를 성공적으로 확인하였다. 산란의 영향에 의한 바탕선의 변이를 제거하기 위해 전처리 방법으로는 미분을 사용하였고, 근적외스펙트럼에서는 5000-7500 $cm^{-1}$를 사용하였고, 라만스펙트럼에서는 1000-1500 $cm^{-1}$를 이용하여, PCA를 수행하였을 때 효과적으로 혼합의 진행정도를 확인할 수 있었다.

블렌딩 곡면의 GPU 기반 렌더링 (GPU-based Rendering of Blending Surfaces)

  • 곡면은 다각형 메쉬에 비해 간결한 표현을 가지고 부드러운 형상을 표현할 수 있지만, 현재 그래픽스 하드웨어는 곡면 렌더링을 지원하고 있지 않다. 최근의 GPU를 이용하여 프로그래밍 가능한 그래픽스 파이프라인은 기존의 다양한 그래픽스 알고리즘들을 가속화시키는 데 이용될 수 있기 때문에, 이 논문에서는 GPU 하드웨어를 이용하여 블렌딩을 기반으로 생성된 임의의 위상을 가진 곡면을 빠르게 렌더링 하는 방법을 제시한다. 제어 메쉬상에서 샘플링된 매개변수와 지역 곡면을 표현하는 정보들을 그래픽스 파이프라인으로 전달하여, 정점 프로세서에서 이러한 정보들을 가지고 블렌딩된 곡면상의 위치 정보와 노말 벡터를 계산한다. 이러한 방법은 CPU에서 블렌딩 곡면을 계산하는 것보다 훨씬 빠르게 수행된다.

SI엔진의 메탄올 혼합 연료의 연소 및 배출 가스 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Combustion and Emission Characteristics of the Methanol Blended Fuel in SI Engine)

  • The engine performance and combustion characteristics of methanol blended fuel in a multiple-point electronic control gasoline engine were discussed on the basis of experimental investigation. The effects of methanol blending fuel on combustion in cylinder were investigated under various conditions of engine cycle and blending ratio. The results showed that the engine performance was influenced by the methanol blended ratio. The results showed that the engine performance was influenced by the methanol blending ratio and the variations of operating conditions of test engine. The increase of blended fuel brought on the improvement of emission characteristics such as THC, CO, and NOx concentration. The effect of methanol blended fuel on the fuel consumption rate and the other characteristics of performance were discussed.

  • Aligning capabilities for nematic liquid crystal (NLC) using a in-situ photodimerization method on various photo-crosslinkable polyimide (PI) based polymer and blending photopolymer surfaces were stuided. High pretilt angle of the NLC can be measured by obliquely polarized UV exposure on a photo-crosslinkable polyirnide based polymer surface containing biphenyl (BP), decyl (de), and cholesteryl (chol) group, respectively, However, the low pretilt angle of the NLC was measured by obliquely polarized UV exposure on the blending photopolymer (PI and cinnamate materials) surfaces. Consequently, the pretilt angle of the NLC generated on the photo-crosslinkable polyimide based polymer surfaces using the in-situ photodimerization method was higher than that of the blending photopolymers.

  • 1. Average moisture content of tobacco in BIB silo was about 19: 1% until 4hours conditioned time, and then moisture variation of tobacco after 2hr conditioned was very small. 2. Application of mathematical model for ordering system. 1) The constant K in the exponential equation varies inversely with both relative humidity and equilibrium moisture. 2) Time needed to order blending tobacco leaves with standard moisture from bulking and blending silo was 4 hours. 3) Reconstituted tobacco sheet had higher moisture absorption ratio than Oriental and Burley tobacco. 4) For minimize of conditioning time in BIB silo, the values of K and Mo given in this study can be used in equation(1) to calculate moisture absorption ratio and optimum conditioning time. 3. Average moisture content and water activity of conditioned tobacco for 4 hours in BIB silo was about 20% and 0.65. In this condition. microbial life will inhibite 4. Physical properties of conditioned tobacco in bulking and blending silo for 4hours was virtually no change.

곡선의 형태학적 성장과 변환의 제어 방법 (Control of Morphological Development and Transformation of Curves)

  • We present novel methods to generate a sequence of shapes that represents the pattern of morphological development or transformation of Bezier curves. The presented methods utilize the intrinsic geometric structures of a Bezier curve that are derived from rib and fan decomposition (RFD). Morphological development based on RFD shows a characteristic pattern of structural growth of a Bezier curve, which is the direct consequence of development path defined by fans. Morphological transformation based RFD utilizes development patterns of source and target curves to mimic the theory of evolutionary developmental biology: although the source and target curves are quite different in shapes, we can easily find similarities in their younger shapes, which makes it easier to set up feature correspondences for blending them. We also show that further controls on base transformation for intensity of feature blending, and extrapolation can compensate the immaturity of blended curves. We demonstrate the experimental results where transformation patterns are smoother and have unique geometric style that cannot be generated using conventional methods based on multi-linear blending.

  • In order to provide fundamental information for developing reaction model in the practical blended coal power plants, effects of particle size and blending ratio on combustion characteristics and thermal reaction in co-firing with bituminous and sub-bituminous coals were experimentally investigated using a TGA and a laboratory-scale burner. Characteristic parameters including ignition, burnout temperature and activation energy were determined from TG and DTG combustion profiles. Distributions of flame length and mean particle temperature were investigated from the visualization of flames in slit-burner system. As coal particle size decreased and volatile matter content increased, characteristic temperatures and activation energy decreased. The ignition/burnout characteristics and activation energy are linearly influenced by a variation in particle size and blending ratio. These results indicated that the control of the coal blending ratio can improve the combustion efficiency for sub-bituminous coals and the ignition characteristics for bituminous coals.
