  • The main result of this article is to factorize the first (σ, τ)-cohomology group of triangular Banach algebra 𝓣 of order three with coefficients in 𝓣 -bimodule 𝓧 to the first (σ, τ)-cohomology groups of Banach algbras 𝓐, 𝓑 and 𝓒, where σ, τ are continuous homomorphisms on 𝓣. As a direct consequence, we find necessary and sufficient conditions for 𝓣 to be (σ, τ)-weakly amenable.

  • Let A, B, 𝔘 be Banach algebras and B be a Banach 𝔘-bimodule also A be a Banach B-𝔘-module. In this paper we study the relation between module amenability, weak module amenability and module approximate amenability of module Lau product A × α B and that of Banach algebras A, B.

  • In this paper, the notions of strong Connes amenability for certain products of Banach algebras and module extension of dual Banach algebras is investigated. We characterize χ ⊗ η-strong Connes amenability of projective tensor product ${\mathbb{K}}{\hat{\bigotimes}}{\mathbb{H}}$ via χ ⊗ η-σwc virtual diagonals, where χ ∈ 𝕂* and η ∈ ℍ* are linear functionals on dual Banach algebras 𝕂 and ℍ, respectively. Also, we present some conditions for the existence of (χ, θ)-σwc virtual diagonals in the θ-Lau product of 𝕂 ×θ ℍ. Finally, we characterize the notion of (χ, 0)-strong Connes amenability for module extension of dual Banach algebras 𝕂 ⊕ 𝕏, where 𝕏 is a normal Banach 𝕂-bimodule.

  • Let 𝓐 be a unital Banach *-algebra and 𝓜 be a unital *-𝓐-bimodule. If W is a left separating point of 𝓜, we show that every *-derivable mapping at W is a Jordan derivation, and every *-left derivable mapping at W is a Jordan left derivation under the condition W𝓐 = 𝓐W. Moreover we give a complete description of linear mappings 𝛿 and 𝜏 from 𝓐 into 𝓜 satisfying 𝛿(A)B* + A𝜏(B)* = 0 for any A, B ∈ 𝓐 with AB* = 0 or 𝛿(A)◦B* + A◦𝜏(B)* = 0 for any A, B ∈ 𝓐 with A◦B* = 0, where A◦B = AB + BA is the Jordan product.

  • At the present paper, we investigate bounded approximately local derivations of ℓ1-Munn algebra 𝕄I(𝒜), where I is an arbitrary non-empty set and 𝒜 is an approximately locally unital Banach algebra. Indeed, we show that if 𝒜B(𝒜, 𝒜*) and B𝒜(𝒜, 𝒜*) are reflexive, then every bounded approximately local derivation from 𝕄I(𝒜) into any Banach 𝕄I(𝒜)-bimodule X is a derivation. Finally, we apply this result to study bounded approximately local derivations of the semigroup algebra ℓ1(S), where S is a uniformly locally finite inverse semigroup.

  • In this paper, we show that Jordan $\tau$-centralizers and local $\tau$-centralizers are $\tau$-centralizers under certain conditions. We also discuss a new type of generalized derivations associated with Hochschild 2-cocycles and introduce a special local generalized derivation associated with Hochschild 2-cocycles. We prove that if $\cal{L}$ is a CDCSL and $\cal{M}$ is a dual normal unital Banach $alg\cal{L}$-bimodule, then every local generalized derivation of above type from $alg\cal{L}$ into $\cal{M}$ is a generalized derivation.

  • We deal with the Hyers-Ulam stability problem of linear mappings from a vector space into a Banach one with respect to the following functional equation: $$f\(\frac{-x+y}{3}\)+f\(\frac{x-3z}{3}\)+f\(\frac{3x-y+3z}{3}\)=f(x)$$. We then combine this equation with other ones and establish the Hyers-Ulam stability of several kinds of linear mappings, among which the algebra (*-) homomorphisms, the derivations, the multipliers and others. We thus repair and improve some previous assertions in the literature.

  • Let 𝒜 be a unital Banach algebra, 𝓜 a unital 𝒜-bimodule, and 𝛿 a linear mapping from 𝒜 into 𝓜. We prove that if 𝛿 satisfies 𝛿(A)A-1+A-1𝛿(A)+A𝛿(A-1)+𝛿(A-1)A = 0 for every invertible element A in 𝒜, then 𝛿 is a Jordan derivation. Moreover, we show that 𝛿 is a Jordan derivable mapping at the unit element if and only if 𝛿 is a Jordan derivation. As an application, we answer the question posed in [4, Problem 2.6].
