Field and temperature dependence of the critical current density, Jc, were measured for both un-doped and carbon doped $MgB_2/Nb/Monel$ wires manufactured by Hyper Tech Research, Inc. In particular, carbon incorporation into the $MgB_2$ structure using malic acid additive and a chemical solution method can be advantageous because of the highly uniform mixing between the carbon and boron powders. At 4.2 K and 10 T, Jc was estimated to be $25,000-25,300Acm^{-2}$ for the wire sintered at $600^{\circ}C$ for 4 hours. The irreversibility field, $B_{irr}$, of the malic acid doped wire was approximately 21.0 - 21.8 T, as obtained from a linear extrapolation of the J-B characteristic. Interestingly enough, the Jc of the malic acid doped sample exceeds $10^5Acm^{-2}$ at 6 T and 4.2 K, which is comparable to that of commercial Nb-Ti wires.

Since NF-${\kappa}B$ has been identified as a transcription factor associated with immune cell activation, groups of researchers have dedicated to reveal detailed mechanisms of nuclear factor of ${\kappa}B$ (NF-${\kappa}B$) in inflammatory signaling for decades. The various molecular components of NF-${\kappa}B$ transcription factor pathway have been being evaluated as important therapeutic targets due to their roles in diverse human diseases including inflammation, cystic fibrosis, sepsis, rheumatoid arthritis, cancer, atherosclerosis, ischemic injury, myocardial infarction, osteoporosis, transplantation rejection, and neurodegeneration. With regards to new drugs directly or indirectly modulating the NF-${\kappa}B$ pathway, FDA recently approved a proteasome inhibitor bortezomib for the treatment of multiple myeloma. Many pharmaceutical companies have been trying to develop new drugs to inhibit various kinases in the NF-${\kappa}B$ signaling pathway for many therapeutic applications. However, a gene knock-out study for $IKK{\beta}$ in the NF-${\kappa}B$ pathway has given rise to controversies associated with efficacy as therapeutics. Mice lacking hepatocyte $IKK{\beta}$ accelerated cancer instead of preventing progress of cancer. However, it is clear that pharmacological inhibition of $IKK{\beta}$ appears to be beneficial to reduce HCC. This article will update issues of the NF-${\kappa}B$ pathway and inhibitors regulating this pathway.

In this paper, a compact triplexer has been implemented for Cellular/GPS/USPCS applications. In order to realize the proposed triplexer, we use a low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) substrate to enable a fully compact integrated module using a multi-layer high-density architecture, and conjugate-match the channels instead of the open matching technique. The three dimensional design capability of LTCC substrates can reduce the overall size of the triplexer, resulting in dimensions on the order of $3.2\;mm\;{\times}\;2.5\;mm\;{\times}\;1\;mm$. The measured result shows that the triplexer has, in Cellular/GPS/USPCS bands, the insertion loss of less than 0.5dB, less than 1.7dB, and less than 0.9dB in order. Also, the triplexer has an isolation of more than 15dB in the cellular and USPCS bands and an isolation of more than 20dB in the GPS band.

본 논문에서는 밀리미터파 모듈 응용을 위하여 광대역 마이크로스트립-대-웨이브가이드 (WR12) 천이기가 제시된다. 대역폭의 개선을 위하여 radial 마이크로 스트립 electrical-probe가 저 손실 유기 유전체 기판 위에 설계되었다. 제안된 천이기의 삽입 및 반사손실에 대한 설계 및 측정된 특성을 나타내었다. 측정을 위한 케이블 아답터와 웨이브가이드 천이기의 손실을 고려하면, 제안된 천이기의 천이 손실이 70 및 80 GHz에서 각각 -1.88 및 -2.01 dB로 분석되었다. 제안된 천이기의 -10 dB 반사 손실 대역폭은 67GHz 에서 95 GHz로 약 26 GHz이다. 최신의 연구결과와 비교해서 대역폭에서 8.3 % 개선되었다.

최근 컴퓨팅 기술과 통신 기술의 급속한 발전으로 클라이언트/서버 컴퓨팅 환경에서 네트워크 컴퓨팅 시대를 지나 인터넷 컴퓨팅 시대가 도래하고 있다. 인터넷 사용이 보편화되어 감에 따라 기업의 정보 시스템이 인터넷 기반의 인트라넷/익스트라넷 시스템으로 구축되어 가고 있으며 미래의 비즈니스 환경은 기업의 이익 및 효율성을 최대화하기 위해 기업간 전자상거래가 보편화될 것으로 예상된다. <중략> 본 논문에서는 기업간 전자상거래의 통합 데이터 환경을 위하여 각 기업에 존재하는 기존의 시스템을 유지하면서 이질적인 데이터베이스들을 투명하게 접근할 수 있는 방법으로 웹 환경에서 Java/CORBA 기술, 관계형 및 객체지향형 데이터베이스와 파일 정보를 수용하기 위한 객체 질의 언어를 사용하는 데이터 공유 지원 시스템을 설계 및 구현 한다.

High performance delta-sigma modulator is developed for audio-codec applications(i.e.. 16-bit resolution at a 20kHz signal bandwidth). The modulator is realized with fully-differential switched capacitor integrators. All stages employ a single-stage folded-cascode amplifier. The presented delta-sigma modulator when clocked at 3.2MHz achieves 85.2dB peak-SNDR and 94.8dB SNR. This modulator is designed in a SAMSUNG $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS process. Finally, this paper shows the test setup and FFT result gained from delta-sigma modulator chip designed for audio applications.

본 논문에서는 2.4 GHz 무선랜 대역에서 사용이 가능한 CPW 소형 안테나를 제안하였다. 제안된 안테나는 스터브와 슬롯이 모두 접혀진 구조로써 모의실험을 통하여 최적화된 파라미터 수치로 비유전율이 4.2, 두께가 1.0 mm인 저렴한 FR-4 기판 상에 제작하여 측정하였다. 측정한 결과 주파수 2.4-2.484 GHz 대역에서 -10 dB 이하의 반사손실 값을 얻음으로써 2.4 GHz 무선랜에서 사용할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

본 연구에서는 만성 B형간염 환자의 자가간호 수행을 위한 스마트폰 애플리케이션 개발을 위해 374명의 만성 B형간염 환자를 대상으로 소비자 요구도를 조사하였다. 대상자들의 평균 연령은 46.2세였다. 만성 B형간염 관련 정보를 취득하는 경로는 인터넷(41.3%), 의료진(23.8%), TV(15.6%) 순이었고 스마트폰은 6.2%에 불과하였다. 스마트폰에서 정보를 취득하지 않는 이유는 '유용한 애플리케이션이 없어서'(75.9%), '정보를 믿을 수 없어서'(15.0%)로 답하였다. 애플리케이션 개발 시 사용 의도는 '활발히 사용하겠다'(59.9%), '필요시 사용하겠다'(33.2%)로 조사되었다. 애플리케이션 개발 시 요구되는 기능은 '질병 관련 지식 전달'(27.1%), '투약달력'(16.8%), '정보에 대한 참고문헌'(15.5%), '검사결과 기록'(14.6%) 등이었다. 나이 및 교육 정도에 따른 스마트폰 활용능력은 차이가 있었으나 스마트폰 개발 필요성에 대해서는 차이가 없었다. 또한, 나이 및 교육 정도에 따라 애플리케이션의 콘텐츠 요구 정도는 차이가 있었다. 이에, 나이와 교육수준을 고려한 만성 B형간염 환자의 자가간호 수행을 위한 스마트폰 애플리케이션을 개발한다면 만성 B형간염 환자의 자가간호 수행에 도움을 줄 수 있는 도구로 널리 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

In this paper, we intend to understand distinguishable SNS technology contributions for B2C commerce. In order to theorize this, we draw upon Technology-to-Performance chain (TPC) theory to develop the model that could explain how the technology value of the SNS could be realizable. For the purpose of capturing SNS technology effect to B2C channel effectiveness, on the basis of TPC theory, personal productivity is selected as a performance variable instead of satisfaction from SNS usage. Accordingly, as the antecedents of personal productivity, two variables of locatability and timeliness are extracted to reflect Task-technology-fit (TTF) dimension of performance precursors. For the utilization dimension of TPC framework, convenience and recreation tendency of the personal traits in shopping are included as the precursors of SNS utilization in the sense of reflecting utilitarian and hedonic value of SNS adoption. Empirical validation is conducted with reference to promotion and sales event on Facebook, which is chosen as the typical SNS based B2C commerce scenario. The data analysis result provide useful insights to further investigate the firm's SNS usage potentials for business applications.

본 논문에서는 LTCC 다층회로 기술을 이용하여 GSM/CDMA 대역을 분리하는 Diplexer를 설계하였다. Diplexer의 집적도를 높이기 위해 3차원 적층형 인덕터와 커패시터를 이용하여 설계되었다. Diplexer는 유전율 7.2인 총 6층의 LTCC 기판에 설계되었고, 설계 되어진 다이플렉서의 크기는 CB-CPW pad를 포함하여 $3,450{\times}4,000{\times}600{\mu}m^3$이다. GSM 대역의 통과 필터는 -0.23dB 이하의 삽입 손실과 -10dB 이하의 반사 손실, CDMA 대역의 통과 필터는 -0.53dB 이하의 삽입 손실과 -10dB 이하의 반사 손실의 특성을 보였다.
