농업용 무한궤도형 자율주행 플랫폼의 경로 추종 및 추종 성능 향상을 위한 가변형 전방 주시거리 알고리즘 개발 (Development of Path Tracking Algorithm and Variable Look Ahead Distance Algorithm to Improve the Path-Following Performance of Autonomous Tracked Platform for Agriculture)

  • With the advent of the 4th industrial revolution, autonomous driving technology is being commercialized in various industries. However, research on autonomous driving so far has focused on platforms with wheel-type platform. Research on a tracked platform is at a relatively inadequate step. Since the tracked platform has a different driving and steering method from the wheel-type platform, the existing research cannot be applied as it is. Therefore, a path-tracking algorithm suitable for a tracked platform is required. In this paper, we studied a path-tracking algorithm for a tracked platform based on a GPS sensor. The existing Pure Pursuit algorithm was applied in consideration of the characteristics of the tracked platform. And to compensate for "Cutting Corner", which is a disadvantage of the existing Pure Pursuit algorithm, an algorithm that changes the LAD according to the curvature of the path was developed. In the existing pure pursuit algorithm that used a tracked platform to drive a path including a right-angle turn, the RMS path error in the straight section was 0.1034 m and the RMS error in the turning section was measured to be 0.2787 m. On the other hand, in the variable LAD algorithm, the RMS path error in the straight section was 0.0987 m, and the RMS path error in the turning section was measured to be 0.1396 m. In the turning section, the RMS path error was reduced by 48.8971%. The validity of the algorithm was verified by measuring the path error by tracking the path using a tracked robot platform.

  • 실시간 수요대응형 자율주행 버스는 자율주행 버스와 실시간 수요대응형 버스의 단점을 상쇄시킨 미래교통수단이다. 하지만 버스 기능의 고도화로 실시간 수요대응형 자율주행 버스 도입 시 영향에 관한 정량화된 연구는 활발하지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 강화학습 기반 실시간 수요대응형 자율주행 버스를 미시적 교통 시뮬레이션에 적용하여 실시간 수요대응형 자율주행 버스의 정량화된 효과평가를 실시하였다. 구체적으로 수요 변화에 따라 실시간 수요대응형 자율주행 버스가 도로 네트워크에 끼치는 영향과 이용자 대기시간을 미시적 시뮬레이션 안에서 구현하였다. 시뮬레이션 대상지로는 한국교통대학교 인근을 선정하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 실시간 수요대응형 자율주행 버스는 기존 노선 고정형 버스 대비 이용자 대기시간과 평균제어지체는 감소하였고, 평균통행속도는 증가하였다. 본 연구를 통해 실시간 수요대응형 버스의 도입을 정량적으로 평가하는 것이 기대된다.

  • 안전한 자율주행을 위하여 차량 센서에만 의존하는 Stand-alone 방식의 한계를 극복하기 위한 방법으로, 노변의 인프라와 자율주행차간 정보를 교환하는 '자율협력주행' 방식의 기술 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 이 과정에서 협력의 대상이 되는 동적정보는 통신 데이터 손실 측면의 평가방법이 일반적이지만, 정보로서 역할 중심의 평가방법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 자율협력주행에서 동적정보 서비스 역할의 적정성을 평가하기 위하여 역할 기반 평가방법을 제안하였다. 평가 척도로 검출률, 검출 소요시간, LDM 처리시간을 제안하였고, 평가방법론을 검증하기 위하여 실제 도로에서 보행자 정보를 대상으로 실증 실험을 시행하였다. 실험 결과로는 검출률 99%, 소요시간 200ms/건, 처리시간 19ms/건을 얻었다. 향후 제안된 동적정보 서비스 평가 방법이 관련 정보제공 서비스의 평가에 활용되기를 기대한다.

Real Time Motion Processing for Autonomous Navigation

  • An overview of our approach to autonomous navigation is presented showing how motion information can be integrated into existing navigation schemes. Particular attention is given to our short range motion estimation scheme which utilises a number of unique assumptions regarding the nature of the visual environment allowing a direct fusion of visual and range information. Graduated non-convexity is used to solve the resulting non-convex minimisation problem. Experimental results show the advantages of our fusion technique.

  • We may gaze at some peculiar scenes of flocking of birds and fishes. This paper demonstrates that multiple agent mobile robots show complex behaviors from efficient and strategic rules. The simulated flock are realized by a distributed behavioral model and each mobile robot decides its own motion as an individual which moves constantly by sensing the dynamic environment.

  • In this paper, we designed a intelligent autonomous driving robot by using Fuzzy algorithm. The object of designed robot is recognition of obstacle, avoidance of obstacle and safe arrival. We append a suspension system to auxiliary wheel for improvement in stability and movement. The designed robot can arrive at destination where is wanted to go by the old and the weak and the handicapped at indoor hospital and building.

  • An intelligent path planning algorithm for an autonomous cleaning robot is presented. This algorithm recognizes obstacle on the architectural CAD draft and generates subgoals as tracking points which executes the area filling task based on heuristic approach. A sweeping path is planned by sequentially connecting the tracking points in such a way that (1) the connected line segments should be crossed, (2) the total tracking points should be as short as possible, (3) the tracking line should not pass through the obstacle. Feasibility of the developed techniques has been demonstrated on real architectural CAD draft.

  • In this paper, Fundamental rules governing group intelligence "obstacle avoidance" behavior of multiple autonomous mobile robots are represented by a small number of fuzzy rules. Complex lifelike behavior is considered as local interactions between simple individuals under small number of fundamental rules. The fuzzy rules for obstacle avoidance are generated from clustering the input-output data obtained from the obstacle avoidance algorithm. Simulation shows the fuzzy rules successfully realizes fundamental rules of the obstacle avoidance behavior.

  • This paper presents a methodology of path planning and navigation for an autonomous mobile robot. A fast algorithm using decomposition technique, which computes the optimal paths between all pairs of nodes, is proposed for real-time calculation. The robot is controlled by fuzzy approximation reasoning. Our new methodology has been implemented on a mobile robot. The results show that the robot successfully navigates to its destination following the optimal path.
