  • 본 논문은 Reference generator 와 Comparator 에서 발생하는 offset 을 최소화하고 정확도를 향상시키기 위해 Auto zero 기술을 활용한 회로를 제안한다. 이에 대한 근거로 Auto zero 사용 전/후를 비교했을 때 약 90% 표준 편차가 줄어드는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 제안하는 회로는 55nm CMOS 공정을 사용하였으며, input frequency 는 781.2 Hz, Effective Number of Bits(ENOB) 8.01bit, Signal-to-Noise Distortion Ratio(SNDR)이 49.98dB 을 보여준다.

  • We had experienced the several system failures which were concerned about zero sequence voltages at the tertiary side of 345[kV] transformers. In this paper, we had considered the zero sequence voltage and its reduction methods at the 345[kV] auto-transformer tertiary. For analysis, we used EMTP(Electro-Magnetic Transients Program). The calculation results by EMTP were compared with the measured data of the field tests. From the calculation and the field tests, we had verified that it is due to pre-saturation characteristics of the potential transformer. So, we had improved its saturation characteristics and applied it at real site. After improvements, we could reduce the zero sequence voltage below the setting level of the relay.

  • An auto-tuning PID controller which is adequate for temperature control is developed based on relay-control and pole-placement Using the critical frequency which is obtained from relay-control parameters of assumed model are identified. Pole/zero-placement PID controller is designed for the identified model. The desired pole/zeros are determined so that the closed-loop has overshoot free step response. The developed auto-tuning PID controller was successfully applied to the temperature control of RTP.

사고기록장치의 기록 시점에 대한 사례연구 (Case Study on the Time Zero (T0) of Event Data Recorder)

  • On December 19, 2015, as Article 29-3 (Installation of Accident Recording Devices and Provision of Information) of Motor Vehicle Management Act came into force, In Korea, the EDR (Event Data Recorder) reports are often used for the analysis of various traffic accident cases such as multiple collisions, traffic insurance crimes, and sudden unintended acceleration (SUA), and the others. So many investigators have analyzed the driver's behavior and vehicle situation by comparing the time zero in the EDR report to the actual crash time in dash-cam (or CCTV). Time zero (T0) is defined as the reference time for the record interval or time interval when recording an accident in Article 56-2, Enforcement rule of Performance and Standard for Automobile and Automotive parts. Also in the EDR report, time zero (T0) is defined as whichever of the following occurs first; 1. "wake-up" by an air-bag control system, 2. Continuously running algorithms (by monitoring of longitudinal or lateral delta-V), 3. Deployment of a non-reversible deployment restraint. We have already proposed the "Flowchart & Checklist" to adopt the EDR report for traffic accident investigation and the necessity of specialized institutions or courses to systematically educate or analyze the EDR data. Therefore, in this paper, we report to traffic accident investigators notable points and analysis methods based on some real-world traffic accidents that can be misjudged in specifying time zero (T0).

Ziegler-Nichols 방법을 이용한 이산형 PID제어기의 자동동조 (On the Auto-Tuning of a Discrete PID Controller Based on the Ziegler and Nichols's Method)

  • This paper proposes an auto-tuning method of a discrete -PIC controllers which is based on the Ziegler and Nichols's PID Tuning Rule. This tunign rule is derived using the Pade's first order approximation and it prevents the performance degradation caused by the time-delay effect of zero order holder when the Ziegler-Nichols tuning rule is applied to a discrete PID controller. A simple and practical auto-tuning method is proposed through combining this discrete tuning rule with the relay control. The auto-tuning scheme is implemented on a microprocessor based system and is applied to a position control system to show the effectiveness of the discrete tuning rule.

D2D 통신 시스템을 위한 CAZAC 시퀀스 기반 링크 스케줄링 기법 (Link Scheduling Method Based on CAZAC Sequence for Device-to-Device Communication)

  • 대표적인 D2D (Device-to-Device) 통신 시스템 중 하나인 Qualcomm사의 FlashLinQ 시스템에서는 링크 스케줄링 과정을 낮은 복잡도로 실현할 수 있도록 하기 위해 단일-톤 (single-tone) 신호를 이용한 우선순위 및 SIR (Signal-to-Interference power Ratio) 기반의 링크 스케줄링 기법을 수행한다. 하지만 다중 경로 채널 환경에서는 주파수 선택적 페이딩의 영향으로 단일-톤 위치에서와 실제 데이터가 전송되는 전체 대역에서의 수신 전력 간 오차가 발생할 수 있으며, 이는 공평성 측면에서 문제가 될 뿐만 아니라 셀 전체 전송률 상의 손실을 일으킬 수 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 CAZAC (Constant Amplitude Zero Auto-Correlation) 시퀀스의 상관 특성을 이용해 전체 대역에 대한 SIR 에 가까운 값을 획득할 수 있는 링크 스케줄링 기법을 제안한다. 제안 기법은 전체 대역을 다수의 sub-block 으로 구분하고 각 sub-block 마다 링크의 우선순위에 해당하는 순환 오프셋 (cyclic offset) 을 적용한 CAZAC 시퀀스를 전 대역에 걸쳐 전송하여, 수신 신호와 참조 신호간의 순환 상호 상관 연산 (cyclic cross-correlation)을 통해 전체 대역에 대한 SIR 에 근접한 값을 획득할 수 있다.

OFDM 시스템에서 Decision Feedback 신호의 상관 관계를 이용하는 SNR 추정 (SNR Estimation Based on Correlation of Decision Feedback Signal in OFDM System)

  • 채널의 상태가 변하는 전송 환경에서 수신된 신호에 대한 잡음비를 추정하여, 보다 효율적으로 신호를 전송하는 것은 현대 통신 시스템에서 중요한 기술이다. 기존 NDA(Non-Data-Aided) SNR 추정 방법은 M진 APSK 또는 같은 고차원 신호의 SNR 추정 성능이 떨어진다. 본 논문에서는 OFDM 시스템에서 블록 단위 수신 신호의 영점 자기 상관과 decision feedback 신호의 자기 상관 및 상호 상관을 이용하는 SNR 추정 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법은 decision feedback 신호의 2차 모멘트인 영점 자기 상관을 이용하여 SNR을 추정하는 Type 1 방식과 4차 모멘트 성질을 갖고 있는 영점 자기 상관과 상호 상관을 이용한 Type 2 방식이다. 이 두가지 SNR 추정 방식은 OFDM 시스템에서 블록 단위 수신을 할 때, 신호의 상관 관계에 기반을 두고 있어 SNR 추정 방법의 실용적인 구현이 가능하게 하고, decision feedback 신호를 사용함으로써 QAM 신호에서도 종전의 SNR 추정 방식들보다 비교적 안정적인 추정 성능을 보인다. 또한, decision feedback 신호를 사용할 때 자기 상관과 상호 상관의 오차에 따른 SNR 추정 식을 수식적으로 유도한다. 그리고 Monte Carlo 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안한 SNR 추정 방법의 성능을 확인한다.

  • In the present work a rigid-plastic finite element formulation using dynamic explicit time integration scheme is proposed for numerical analysis of auto-body panel stamping processes. The rigid-plastic finite element method based on membrane elements has long been employed as a useful numerical technique for the analysis of sheet metal forming because of its time effectiveness. A damping scheme is proposed in order to achieve a stable solution procedure in dynamic sheet forming problems. In order to improve the drawbacks of the conventional membrane elements, BEAM(abbreviated from Bending Energy Augmented Membrane) elements are employed. Rotational damping and spring about the drilling direction are introduced to prevent a zero energy mode. The lumping scheme is employed for the diagonal mass matrix and linearizing dynamic formulation. A contact scheme is developed by combining the skew boundary condition and the direct trial-and-error method. Computations are carried out for analysis of complicated auto-body panel stamping processes such as forming of an oilpan, a fuel tank and a front fender. The numerical results of explicit analysis are compared with the implicit results with good agreements and it is shown that the explicit scheme requires much shorter computational time, especially when the problem becomes more complicated. It is thus shown that the proposed dynamic explicit rigid-plastic finite element method enables an effective computation for complicated autobody panel stamping processes.

  • This paper deals with a problem of automatic landing guidance and control system design. The auto-landing control system for the longitudinal motion is designed in the classical PID controller. The controller gains are properly adapted to variation of the performance using fuzzy logic as a gain scheduler for the PID gains. This control logic is applied to the problem of the automatic landing control system design. From the numerical simulation using the 6DOF nonlinear model of the associated airplane, it is shown that the auto-landing maneuver is successfully achieved from the start of the flight conditions: 1500 ft altitude, 250 ft/sec airspeed and zero flight path angle.

  • This paper presents a new identification method which utilizes fuzzy inference in parameter identification. The proposed system has an additional control loop where a real plant is replaced by a plant model. The control system to be designed is to satisfy the following specifications: 1) It has zero steady-state error. 2) It has adequate damping characteristics. 3) 1),2) satisfied, it has a shortest rise-time. Fuzzy rules describe the relationship between comparison results of the features and magnitude of modification in the model parameter values. This method is effective in auto-tuning because the response of the closed loop is verified. The proposed method is tested in simulation for several plants with high-order lags and dead-times.
