응급구조학과 학생들의 호흡보조요법 경험, 지식이 수행자신감에 미치는 영향요인 (Factors influencing performance confidence in paramedic students by knowledge and experience of respiratory-assistant therapy)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the factors influencing performance confidence by knowledge and experience of respiratory-assistant therapy in paramedic students. Methods: A descriptive survey study used a convenience sample comprising 387 students from September 15 to October 31, 2016. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and regression analysis. Results: Knowledge was statistically significant by college(3-year), acquired certification, and observation experience in respiratory-assistant therapy. Performance confidence was statistically significant by sex, academic grade($3.0{\leq}$), acquired certification, and observation and performance experience in respiratory-assistant therapy. There was a significant correlation between knowledge and acquired certification, clinical practice, and major satisfaction. There was a significant correlation between performance confidence and acquired certification, clinical practice, major satisfaction, and knowledge. Regression analysis revealed that performance confidence accounted for 22.9% of the variance by academic grade(3.0~3.99), acquired certification, and major satisfaction. Conclusion: For paramedic students in clinical practice and in-school classes, it is important to improve performance confidence by combining training instruction with experience and education of respiratory-assistant therapy.

  • 본 연구는 지능형 개인비서 서비스의 사용 경험을 HCI의 평가 기준을 바탕으로 비교·분석하여 사용 경험의 긍정적인 요소와 개선되어야 할 요소를 탐색하고자 한다. 현 시장에서 점유율이 가장 높은 지능형 개인비서 서비스인 애플의 시리, 구글의 구글어시스턴트, 삼성의 빅스비를 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 방법은 1차로 문헌 연구를 통하여 현 서비스의 개념과 특징에 대해 비교·분석하였고 2차로 약 2주간 UI/UX 디자인 전문가 7명을 대상으로 맥락질문법을 활용하여 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 인터뷰는 피터 모빌(Peter Morville)의 사용자 경험 허니콤(user experience honeycomb) 7가지 사용성 원칙을 5가지로 재구성하여 유용성, 편의성, 시각적 매력성, 신뢰성, 만족도에 대한 질문을 진행하였다. 이후 재구성한 사용성 원칙 내용을 바탕으로 평가 rating 및 시스템 사용성 척도 (SUS) 를 바탕으로 평가를 실시하였다. 본 연구는 인공지능 개인비서 서비스의 사용경험을 정량적, 정성적으로 분석했다는데 의의가 있다.

과학체험행사 참가 팀의 활동 형태 및 도우미 학생의 역할 분석 (The Analysis of Participant Teams' Activity Types and Roles of Assistant Students in Science Festival)

  • Science festivals have occupied a very important axle in informal science education that enables students to experience the amazement of scientific experiments to think over scientific principals beyond the formal education in the classrooms. Among the concerned person, the most benefit-taken group may be the assistant who help the participants experience the activities in the festival. In order to find out the ways to make the student assistant's participation into a meaningful education experience, we analyzed the types of the activities in the science festival as well as the characteristics of the interaction between the student-assistants and the participating students are studied. The research findings are as follows: First, most activities in the science festival had related to the scientific concepts or principals; however, the understanding of the concepts and principals didn't highly affect the procedure of the activities. In many cases the students operated and made results without checking the related concepts or principals. Second, the student-assistants showed the consistency of operation in guiding their activities. They were explaining mainly the process of the experiments without giving a chance to think of related concepts or principles. We suggest that teacher should consider the student-assistants' learning in the festival as well as that of the participants.

대학생의 영어캠프 보조교사 경험에 관한 연구 -역량, 영어능력, 직무와의 연관성을 중심으로- (The effects of participation at English camp as a teaching assistant)

  • Many immersion programs have been established and managed throughout Korea in recent years in schools, English villages and camps. Research on the effects of various programs has been reported with focus on the program types or the benefits and learning outcomes for the participants. The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of participation at English camp as a teaching assistant by comparing some factors such as competence, English abilities, and connection to current studies/career before and after camp experience. The results show that all 17 competence rates rose with 'crisis management' showing prominent change. Also, the camp experience provides opportunity for improving English Test scores, conversational skills, teaching skills, and mostly language confidence. Lastly, the camp helped in setting career goals and was helpful in the preparation process of job seeking. Most of the subjects, the teaching assistants at camp, replied that the impact of camp experience is useful in current studies/career. In conclusion, the experience as camp teaching assistant is valuable in many aspects.

환자안전 전담인력의 업무 지원을 위한 보조인력 도입에 관한 연구 (Necessity of Introducing Assistant Staff to Support Administrative Tasks Related Patient Safety)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to, present basic data on the necessity of introducing assistant staff to support administrative tasks related to patient safety. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study. The participants (n=103) of this study were nurses, working at general and long-term care hospitals in Korea. Data were collected using structured questionnaires on August 29, 2019 and analyzed with SPSS 25.0. Specifically, data analysis was conducted using frequencies, mean and standard deviation, independent t-test, and X2-test. Results: Assistant staff was needed to support patient safety tasks, but this required nurses who could fully perform patient safety tasks by supplementing their work experience rather than employees who only support administrative tasks. This is because the hospital's patient safety management activities are difficult to distinguish between administrative tasks and patient safety tasks, and even nurses with five years of work experience, must be aware of the basic concepts and should have knowledge of patient safety and have gained experience in managing the patient safety activities. Conclusion: Hospitals are calling for an improvement in the system that increases the number of workers in charge of patient safety affairs and lowers their work experience, rather than the introduction of assistant staff who help with patient safety work.

진료협력간호사의 역할갈등에 관한 연구 (A Study on Role Conflict in Physician Assistant Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was a qualitative study done to investigate the experience of role conflict by physician assistant nurses. Methods: The basis for this study was qualitative research using the phenomenological method. Research participants were 10 physician assistant nurses. Data collection methodology was in-depth interviews. The interviews were conducted 1 to 2 times and each interview lasted within the range of 45 minutes to 2 hours. The data collection and analysis were carried out simultaneously and the Colaizzi (1978) methodology was adopted for data analysis. Results: The results showed 46 significant statements, 13 meaningful statements, 7 themes, and 3 clusters of themes. The 3 clusters of themes were: 'Identity conflict', 'Relationship role conflict' and 'Institutional role conflict'. Conclusion: The findings from this study suggest that legal status guarantees have to be prepared in order to resolve the role conflict of physician assistant nurses.

재난의료지원팀 내 1급 응급구조사의 재난대비·대응역량에 관한 연구 (Disaster preparedness and response competency of emergency medical technician-paramedics in the disaster medical assistant team)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate disaster preparedness competence and disaster response competence of paramedics working in emergency medical centers operating a disaster medical assistance teams. Methods: Data of 174 emergency medical technician(EMT)-paramedics were collected from July 15 to August 14, 2018 at regional and local emergency medical centers that operate disaster medical assistant team. Analysis of the data was carried out with IBM SPSS statistics 24.0 software (IBM, Armonk, NY, USA). Results: The mean disaster preparedness competence score was $3.57{\pm}0.63$ (out of five). Participants' disaster preparedness competence significantly differed according to type of emergency medical center (p<.000), disaster education experience (p<.000), and education frequency (p=.001). The mean disaster response competence score was $4.09{\pm}0.57$ (out of five). Participants' disaster response competence significantly differed according to disaster education experience (p<.000) and medical assistance experience (p=.045). Conclusion: Emergency medical technician-paramedics without disaster training should first be provided with this training. Further, it is important for EMT-paramedics to know their disaster preparedness and response capacities and strengthen their shortcomings. It is also important to develop education and training programs that properly equip EMT-paramedics with practical competencies.

전담간호사의 감성지능과 셀프리더십이 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Emotional Intelligence and Self-Leadership on Job Satisfaction among Physician Assistant Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the effects of emotional intelligence and self-leadership on job satisfaction among physician assistant nurses. Methods: The participants were 146 physician assistant nurses working at two university hospitals. Data were collected from August 1-September 31, 2020 and analyzed through t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson correlation, and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS/WIN version 26.0. Results: Factors affecting job satisfaction were self-leadership (β=.30, p=.003), "less than 1 year of experience as a physician assistant nurse" (β=.27, p=.025), and emotional intelligence (β=.25, p=.007), and the explanatory power was 34.4% (F=6.03, p<.001). Conclusion: Our study shows that self-leadership and emotional intelligence play a significant role in the job satisfaction of physician assistant nurses; thus, strengthening these two factors is crucial to improve the nurses' job satisfaction. The results of this study may serve as basic data for the development of strategies to enhance job satisfaction among physician assistant nurses.

소규모학교 과학실험 보조교사의 경험이 초등 예비교사의 과학 수업 불안 및 과학 교수 효능감에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Experience as a Science Experiment Assistant Teacher on the Science Instruction Anxiety and the Science Teaching Efficacy Beliefs of Elementary Pre-service Teachers in Small Scale School)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 소규모학교 과학실험 보조교사로 참여한 경험이 초등 예비교사의 과학 수업 불안과 과학 교수 효능감에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 초등 예비교사 21명을 선정한 후 약 10개월 동안 초등학교에서 과학실험 보조교사 업무를 수행하도록 하였다. 그리고 예비교사들에게 과학실험 보조 교사로 참여하기 전과 보조교사가 끝난 후에 과학 수업 불안과 과학 교수 효능감을 알아보는 검사를 실시하였고, 검사 결과를 분석한 후 일부 예비교사는 면담을 실시하였다. 연구 결과를 살펴보면, 소규모학교 과학실험 보조교사 경험은 초등 예비교사들의 과학 수업 불안도와 그 하위 요소인 과학 수업 상태 불안도 및 과학 수업 특성 불안도 모두를 감소시키는데 효과가 있었다. 또한 과학 교수 효능감과 그 하위 요소인 과학 교수 자기 효능감에서는 효과가 있었으나, 과학 교수 결과기대감에서는 효과가 나타나지 않았다. 과학실험 보조교사 경험은 예비교사의 개인적인 경험 및 인식에 따라 그 효과가 다르게 나타났다.

가상 비서와 스마트 스피커에 대한 인식과 기대: 의미 연결망 분석과 감성분석을 중심으로 (Perception of Virtual Assistant and Smart Speaker: Semantic Network Analysis and Sentiment Analysis)

  • 인공지능과 음성인식을 기반으로 한 스마트 디바이스의 장점이 부각되면서, 가상 비서(Virtual Assistant)가 인기를 끌고 있다. 가상 비서는 스마트 스피커를 통해 사용자 경험을 제공하며, 일반 소비자들이 가장 사용하기 쉬운 IoT 디바이스로 평가받고 있다. 본 연구는 주요 가상 비서브랜드의 음성인식 플랫폼과 디바이스에 대한 사람들의 인식에 차이가 있는지 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해, 트위터에서 가상비서 서비스를 하는 세 기업의 총 6가지 키워드를 포함한 트윗을 수집했다. 수집한 데이터는 의미 연결망 분석 기법(Semantic network analysis)을 적용해 키워드에 대한 사람들의 인식을 분석했다. 추가로 LIWC 감성분석을 통해 사람들의 긍정/부정적 반응을 분석했다. 분석 결과 사람들은 각 키워드에 대한 반응이 다른 것으로 나타났다. 주로 Virtual Assistant가 제공하는 기능과 서비스에 대한 기대와 사용성에 대한 내용이었다. 또한 대부분의 키워드에 긍정적 반응을 보였다.
