본 논문에서는 분산응용의 관점에서 네트워크 상에 응용을 구성하는 분산된 객체들을 효율적으로 관리하는 분산객체그룹 프레임워크를 기반으로 사용자 맞춤형 분산응용 서비스를 제공하는 프로액티브응용서비스엔진을 제안한다. 본 엔진은 물리계층, 미들웨어 계층, 응용 계층으로 구성되며, 사용자의 요청에 의해 하드웨어 기기로부터 수집된 데이터 및 응용을 구성하는 객체의 속성정보를 그룹으로 관리하는 그룹서비스와 수집된 데이터 및 객체에 대한 사용자의 권한별 접근을 관리하는 보안서비스, 수집된 데이터를 추출 및 가공하여 응용에 제공하는 필터링서비스, 과거의 데이터를 이용한 통계서비스, 수집된 데이터를 토대로 현재의 운영 상태를 진단하는 진단서비스, 통계서비스와 진단서비스를 통해 미래의 발생 가능한 상황을 예측하기 위한 예측서비스를 제공한다. 최종적으로 엔진이 제공하는 서비스의 수행성을 검증하기 위하여 유비쿼터스 농업 분야의 온실 자동제어 응용에 적용하여 결과를 확인했다.

There have been dramatic technology changes in telecommunication sector during last two decades. New application services like the introduction of international mobile services, fiber optical home services and satellite personal services are expected to play a major role in the whole field of telecommunication services. In the users' viewpoint, the proper selection and the efficient application of the specific telecommunication service among the various alternatives at hand are recognized as principle means for ensuring the whole business competitiveness. Despite the definite need for the telecommunication service selection strategies, very few researches have been reported in this field. In this paper, attempts are made to identify the companies' decision factors considered in selecting the telecommunication services, to draw the strategic dimensions and categorize each company with respect to the identified dimensions, and to finally find the characteristics of each strategic group in selecting the telecommunication service.

In ubiquitous computing environments, users want to receive the robot services regardless of various physical status or devices such as time, place, various sensors, and high-performance servers. Thus, the ubiquitous service robots have to provide users with automated services according to situational information that they properly recognize. Beyond these problems, robot software has to establish a foundation to support the functions with the network infrastructure that are not able to be solved by a single independent resource. On the basis of a robot middleware that is capable of minimizing dependencies among hierarchy structures, the robot software also has to provide execution environment to control the flow of robot application services. In this paper, we propose a layered architecture to provide users with automated services through ubiquitous robots. The proposed architecture is based on CAWL (Context-Aware Workflow Language) and RSEL (Robot Services Execution Language). CAWL easily represents the flow of robot services from user application service levels, and RSEL is able to support the composition and reusability of robot services through abstraction of robot device services. In our experiments, we applied the proposed architecture to an example of "booth guide robot service".

웹의 이용이 급속하게 증가함에 따라, 웹 기반의 어플리케이션 대 어플리케이션 상호작용을 체계적으로 지원하는 적절한 모형과 이러한 새로운 분산 전산 플렛폼을 기존 환경들과 효율적으로 통합할 수 있는 방안에 대한 요구가 발생했으며 이에 대한 해결책으로 웹 서비스가 등장하였다. 본 고에서는 먼저 웹 서비스의 발생 배경과 정의, 특징 등에 대해 언급한다. 그리고 웹 서비스가 작동하는 원리에 대해 상세히 설명을 한 후, 웹 서비스를 구현하는데 필요한 핵심 기술들과 실제 구현 사례들을 살펴본다. 마지막으로 웹 서비스의 향후 발전 방향에 대해 언급한다.

최근 인터넷 서비스의 활용은 다양한 정보와 동시에 개인에 적합한 서비스를 제공하기위한 노력들로 이루어지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 인터넷 멀티미디어 서브시스템을 기반으로 서비스 통합 과 개인화를 제공하는 웹서비스 활용 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 이러한 서비스 통합과 개인화를 위해 서비스 사용자 정보 분석 및 개인화 서비스 구성요소 추출과정이 요구되며 이를 위해 개인 서비스 제공 정책 수립이 필요하다. 이러한 과정을 통해 기존 서비스와 외부 서비스들 간의 효율적인 통합을 제공할 수 있으며 신규서비스 모델을 구축하여 서비스 이용자에 대한 보다 세밀한 서비스 제공이 가능할 것이다.

본 논문은 개방형 분산 Computing system에서 여러 분산 어플리케이션 프로그래머들에게 범용 암호 서비스 제공을 위한 C-API(Cryptographic-Application Program Interface) Mechanism개발에 대하여 설명한다. C-API Mechanism는 응용 프로그래머에게 공통적으로 사용 할 수 있는 암호 알고리즘 및 인터페이스를 제공함으로써 프로그래머가 암호 알고리즘을 알지 못하여도 분산 어플리케이션이 보안 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 따라서,본 논문에서는 다양한 응용 환경 또는 시스템 하부구조에 독립적으로 사용될 수 있는 공용암호 서비스 구조를 설계하여 공통적으로 이용할 수 있도록 하였다. 이러한 구조는 응용 프로그래머에게 각종 암호화 관련서비스 및 키관리 서비스를 응용 프로그램과 운영체제의 제약없이 사용할 수 있는 장점이다.

Important network application services have been rapidly increased along with the growth of the Internet. So, it is desirable for such applications to serve transparently, continuously and safely even if the network is temporally disconnected or certain hosts running those services are crashed down. To satisfy such requirementes, many group communication systems have been developed; but, those systems restrict its range within a single LAN or directly interconnected LAN environments since the communication through the Internet is too slow and too unreliable to support group communication. As of now, it is expected the Internet is going to e sufficiently fast and reliable in the near communication system, named FACE(Java Advanced Communication Environment), supporting Extended Virtual which is a basic communication layer, RPGS(Reliable Process Group Service) which manages application process groups, and JACE API for developing Java application services and clients programs. In addition, an experimental replicated object space is developed as an application of the JACE system.

Working in a hazardous environment can decrease work efficiency and cause a variety of occupational diseases. To prevent occupational accidents and build a refreshing and pleasant work environment, therefore, it is necessary to develop an application system through which a worker's safety can be monitored on a realtime basis and provide related services. Recently, smartphones have become very popular across the nation, with over 10 million users. As a result, a variety of application services have been developed and provided in diverse sectors. This study proposes a system structure to develop application services which monitor work environment using smartphones and examines its applicability through the implementation of server and client interfaces.
