There are many problems which takes long time and lots of work to monitor land subsidence by traditional method. These problems can be solved by GPS. Combining with the field example, this paper studies the application of GPS to monitoring land subsidence, analyses the advantages and errors of GPS survey method, and puts forth the suitable conditions of monitoring land subsidence by GPS.

This paper presents a design and characteristics analysis of an SRM drive for EPS application. A rack mounted EPS system is considered in this paper. In the unrestricted design conditions, motor parameters are determined for sufficient torque and speed with some restrictions. For the smooth torque generation and simple circuit of power system, 12/8 motor drive is considered. With FEM and magnetic circuit analysis, redesigned motor is simulated to meet the requirement of specifications. Effectiveness of the suggested SRM drive for EPS application is verified by redesigned motor drive tests.

Objective: Case study on the improvement of acne through application of Ortho-Cellular Nutrition Therapy (OCNT) Method: Implementation of OCNT on a 25-year old Korean male due to severe acne symptoms Results: Symptoms such as skin rash and wounds as well as the overall skin conditions improved following the implementation of OCNT. Conclusion: Application of OCNT can be helpful in alleviation of symptoms in patients suffering from acne.

We provide a semilocal convergence analysis for a Newtonlike method under weak conditions in a Banach space setting. In particular, we only assume that the Gateaux derivative of the operator involved is hemicontinuous. An application is also provided.

A successful store separation analysis tool, MSAP(Multi-body Separation Analysis Program) has been applied to F/A-18C/JDAM CFD Challenge Ⅱ. The challenge was devised to challenge CFD community to use CFD methodologies to predict and match the trajectory of a JDAM MK-84 separating from F/A-l8C. Trajectory simulations for two flight conditions were performed. Comparison between computed and measured flight trajectories for both conditions shows a good agreement.

A conventional environment adaptation for robust speech recognition is usually conducted using transform-based techniques. Here, we present a discriminative adaptation strategy based on a multi-condition-trained model, and propose a new method to provide universal application to a new environment using the environment's specific conditions. Experimental results show that a speech recognition system adapted using the proposed method works successfully for other conditions as well as for those of the new environment.

For the purpose of monitoring by ultrasonic test of the ball bearing conditions in rotating machinery, a system for their diagnosis was developed. ultrasonic technique is used to detect abnormal conditions in the bearing system. And various data such as frequency spectrum, energy and amplitude of ultrasonic signals, and ultrasonic parameters were acquired during experiments with the simulated ball bearing system. Based on the above results and practical application for power plant, algorithms and judgement criteria for diagnosis system was established.

An eigenvalue analysis of the circular Mindlin plates with free boundary conditions is presented. The analysis is based on the Chebyshev-Fourier pseudospectral method. Even though the eigenvalues of lower vibration modes tend to convergence more slowly than those of higher vibration modes, the eigenvalues converge for sufficiently fine pseudospectral grid resolutions. The eigenvalues of the axisymmetric modes are computed separately. Numerical results are provided for different grid resolutions and for different thickness-to-radius ratios.

The application of artificial neural network forcondition monitoring and diagnosis of milling tools was introduced. To detect the conditions of milling tools, the monitoring wywtem consists of three phases: "preparation phase", "learning phase", "production phase". The conditions of milling tools were categorized into the three states. "normal", "warning", "abnormal". The dectection of tool condition, in this paper, could be successfully performed by monitoring the variation of power spectrum on Y dirctional cutting force.

Necessary conditions for the existence of common fixed points for noncommuting mappings satisfying generalized contractive conditions in a Menger convex metric space are obtained. As an application, related results on best approximation are derived. Our results generalize various well known results.
