우리나라는 1970년대 이후 시행된 도시계획사업을 통해 도시지역에 대규모 주택단지 및 주거지역이 나타나기 시작하였다. 그리고 개발된 지역에서는 공동주택의 비율이 점차 증가하는 경향이 나타나면서 도로변공동주택의 도로교통소음이 새로운 문제로 대두되었다. 그리고 1980년대 후반이후 공동주택은 15층에 머물던 공동주택은 20-30층의 초고층의 형태로 변모하였고, 최근에는 40층 이상의 공동주택이 등장하면서 도시지역의 주거밀도는 더욱 고밀화 되면서 이로 인하여 도로교통소음은 더욱 증가하게 되었다. 이에 본 연구는 도로변에 위치한 공동주택에 영향을 주는 인자 중 교통량, 통과속도를 변수로 하여 소음지도를 구축하여 저감효율에 대해 살펴보았다. 결과는 교통량과 속도제한의 증감에 따른 변화는 한정된 공간에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 버스중앙차로제는 도로변에 약간의 영향만을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
The Quantitative analysis for collapsion probability of each construcion work has not been developed, despite of that the one for safety management itself has been reported, up to now. It is concluded that showing critical check points against structure collapsion due to each work at construction site, and Quantifying those could be useful Quality-assuring tool, not to prevent Quality failure. Risk classes of each work at construction site, classified by German Builders Mutual-Aid Association (GEBMAS), and by special instruction rates of Korea Insurance Development Institute, are introduced to compare with the results of this study. As of a study method, total 2,002 sheets of questionwares are distributed directly to new city development areas, which are called, Ilsan 110 points : Pundang 79points and Chungdong 38points, including additional Changwon 125sheets and pusan 60sheets, by four(4) people, for contact with actual site engineers. Total responses of 1,056 sheets, are collected. Interrelationship diagram between experience years of Engrs., and risk rate of responses are also classified, with the criteria of four(4) years. Domestic journals with relation to construction have reported that main building Structure collapsions are mainly shown on apartment buildings and office ones. These two(2) building structures are again classified as five(5) kinds of works. This study takes use of an approach on haying the risk rates for each construction work on the above individual construction work. Additionally, site investigations have been performed to find out any possible unreasonable check items, due to construction method ; Reinforced Concret structure, Pre cast Concrete structure, and Steel structure building. Developed Quality Assurance Analysis Form with the Quantitative danger class, resulted from this study, are verified as it is able to be a good efficiency tool against collapsion of building structures.
This study aims to analyze the cases of storage space outside housing unit and propose the activation plan. The issue of storage in residential complex has continued to be reported. This is more salient due to the recent preference trend for small houses, the constant increase of living goods and the limitation of the available space inside housing unit. Although more apartment houses are trying to have individual storage in the exterior space to address these issues, there is still a paucity of the related studies and more studies are required. In this study, we conducted on-site investigation and user interview of each case to propose active usage of the storage space outside housing unit. Result of this study shows that the most crucial factor to improve is 'accessibility' in order to activate the storage space. Storage room should be located close to each household or the individual parking space. The second factor is the size and the structure of the storage room. The sufficient space for keeping and taking large objects out are required. The front of the storage room should have a clogged structure to insure privacy. The third is the provision of suitable support programs such as the system that occupants can check remotely what items are in their storage rooms, garage sale, laundry service, auto cleaning system and rental program. Those programs are required for efficient management and activation of space. Another requirement is to improve environmental factors which include maintenance of optimal temperature and humidity, automatic ventilation system, control of individual lights, and security enhancement. Based on the results of the survey, we provide basic data which can be used for practical space planning to activate exterior storage space of the housing unit. Further surveys are required to develop this study by obtaining more data for generalization.
No matter how low it might be, noise from home appliances in indoor environment cause displeasure for residents as it is produced nearby. Electronic goods including vacuum cleaner and washing machine generate high frequency noise, which interrupts TV-watching or conversations and cause noises between floors in apartment houses. In particular, refrigerators make constant noise late at night, hampering the study for exams and causing sleeplessness. Korea, despite the government's efforts to promote low-noise goods based on the noise test by corporation, there is a lack of standardization in the test method, test condition and measuring equipments. This is a major reason that lowers the reliability of low-noise products. At present, low-noise home appliances are certified with eco labeling in the nation but, only 7 brands of refrigerators, 4 brands of washing machines and 97 brands of air-conditioners obtained certification as of august, 2011. In addition, none of Kimchi-refrigerator and vacuum cleaner brands were approved as low-noise home appliances. This shows Korea's relatively underdeveloped market for low-noise products, which, in part, is because of the difficulties companies face in being certified with eco labeling as they should satisfy various requirements such as power-saving and eco-friendly design besides low-noise features. As a result, low-noise labeling for home appliances should be established for the revised noise and vibration management law and the study was carried out to establish low-noise labeling system for major noise sources including vacuum cleaner, washing machine, air-conditioner and refrigerator.
This paper concerns about residential environment analysis program implementation for design and analysis on public housing complexes such that view and daylight analysis processes are automated and integrated into existing design routine to achieve better design efficiency. Considering the architectural design trends this paper chooses ArchiCAD as a platform for a CAD system, which contains the concepts such as integrated object-oriented CAD, virtual building and BIM. Residential environment analysis system consists of three components. The first component is the 3D modeling part defining 3D form information for external geographic contour models, site models and interior/exterior of apartment buildings. The second is the parametric library part handling the design parameters for view and daylight analysis. The last is the user interface for the input/output and integration of data for the environment analysis. Daylight analysis shows rendered images as well as results of daylight reports and grades per time and performs the calculations for floor shadow. It separates the site-only analysis from the analysis of site and exterior environmental parameters. View analysis considers horizontal and vertical view angles to produce view image from each unit and uses the bitmap analysis method to determine opening ratio, scenery ratio and void ratio. We could expect better performance and precision from this residential environment analysis system than the existing 2D drawing based view and daylight analysis methods and overcome the existing one-way flow of design information from 3D form to analysis reports so that site design modifications are automatically reflected on analysis results. Each part is developed in a module so that further integration and extension into other related estimation and construction management systems are made possible.
The purpose of the study was to analyze the constraints that are normally experienced before moving in the context of the household characteristics of households that had recently moved to newly-built apartments. The data for the analysis was collected through a self-administered questionnaire from July 1, 2008 to August 10, 2008. The sample consisted of 251 households in Ulsan living in an apartment complex who had moved within a year. The data from the sample was analyzed by descriptive statistics, factor analysis, and analysis of variance with Duncan's multiple range tests. The results are as follows. The constraints were categorized into information gathering, attractive housing characteristics, expectations of residential mobility, housing development and policies, and resources. Overall, the constraints did not have a huge impact on the performance of the residential mobility of the sample households. Resources, however, were the most influential factors among the five constraints followed by attractive housing characteristics, information gathering, etc. The constraints varied based on the demographic characteristics, such as the household size, duration of marriage, age of the household head, and the socio-economic characteristics, such as the education level of the household head, household income, and the number of mobility. As the number of family members increased, the age of the household head went up, or the level of education went down, the constraints on information gathering were affected in terms of performing residential mobility. Households with a middle aged head with a professional occupation were more constrained by the attractive characteristics of the housing. The impact of the resources related constraints was significantly different based on the number of family members, marriage duration, and the household head's age and occupation, and the number of mobility.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of leisure behavior and preference for leisure environment of the five-day workweek company employees according to gender for developing leisure facilities in residential community planning. The questionnaire survey was used. The subjects of questionnaire survey were 338 staffs of 7 companies, who were living in apartment complex. The questionnaire consisted of way of life about leisure, leisure necessity, actual condition and need of leisure spaces, and leisure satisfaction. Frequency, percentage, and mean, ${\chi}2-test$, t-test, and factor analysis were used for data analysis. The major results were as follows. 1) In terms of leisure time in weekend, the available leisure time distribution, and leisure cost, there were not difference between men and women. 2) After five-day workweek, the men and women showed to increase their leisure activities and to engage in diverse forms of leisure. Also, they showed an increased desired ratios in participating in each leisure activities. 3) Leisure was necessary to strengthen the unity of family and cultivate the sentiment. 4) Even though current main area for leisure were in their house, men were likely to change them from in the house to around and near their house. And they needed leisure facilities which was closer to their house. 5) The degree of satisfaction of leisure facilities in residential environment was low and there were not difference between men and women. This result implicated to improve and develope leisure space and facilities near the residental environment for promoting leisure behavior of both women and men. In particular it is necessity to create the good atmosphere of leisure facilities for women.
The purpose of this study is to find the main factor which influences the housing satisfaction of elderly who lives alone or with spouse and to make it sure that housing satisfaction is an important factor to life satisfaction of elderly. The specific purpose of this study is as follows; 1) How does the locus of control of elderly influence a housing satisfaction\ulcorner 2) How does the housing characteristics of elderly influence on the housing satisfaction and this relationship has any difference between urban and rural area. 3) Which variables influence upon the housing satisfaction and life satisfaction of elderly and how much do they influence \ulcorner The locus of control scale, housing satisfaction scale. life satisfaction scale were composed on the basis of precedent researches. For this study 202 elderly sho live in urban and rural area ere interviewed. To analyze the data, such as F-test, t-test, two-way ANOVA, Multiple regression analysis were used with SPSS program. The results are as follows; 1) The interrelation between locus of control and housing satisfaction is as follows. Namely , if he believes in his deeds and will rater than his fate, he feels more housing satisfaction. 2)the housing satisfaction of the elderly was found to be influenced by location, Namely, the elderly living in the urban area feels more housing satisfaction, especially he lives in apartment and unshared house. On the contrary, the elderly living in the rural area was not affected by housing type and the number of household who live together, The housing satisfaction of the elderly living in the rural area or the urban area equally influenced by the housing tenure, heating system, bathroom facility, flush toilet, and convenient service form the outside. 3) The main factoers which influence the housing satisfaction of the single household elderly are bathroom facility louse of control and income. When we concern about the location in urban area the housing satisfaction of the elderly were mainly influenced by income, but in the rural area, they were influenced by the service facility from the outside. As a Conclusion, the main factor which influenced life satisfaction of the elderly proved to be housing satisfaction inn both rural and urban area.
The control of nonpoint source pollution from the urban paved areas with high imperviousness in is required to improve the water quality of aquatic resources. This research investigated the characteristics of urban runoffs and evaluate the effectiveness of the continuous deflective separation systems for stormwater best management practice. The systems were installed in the vicinity of a high-level road, an apartment complex, and the Cheonggye stream. Stormwater runoff was sampled in these sites. Biochemical oxygen demand ($BOD_5$), total suspended solid (TSS), total nitrogen (T-N), and total phosphorus (T-P) were analyzed. The removal efficiency of $BOD_5$, TSS, and T-P for the road was 10.9-81.0%, 11.7-93.4%, 0-37.5%, respectively. That of $BOD_5$, TSS, T-N, and T-P for the complex was 12.5-65.8%, 26.5-77.6%, 1.8-28.7%, and 20.0-37.5%, respectively. The abatement efficiency $BOD_5$, TSS, T-N, and T-P for the stream was 7.2-85.2%, 41.7-98.2%, 11.3-65.6%, and 2.0-71.5%, respectively. This study shows that the systems can be used to remove $BOD_5$ and TSS from urban runoffs efficiently.
This study was to investigate the factors affecting drinking Korean traditional beverages and the drinking habits of college students in Seoul. The research was carried out by asking them to drink 10 kinds of traditional drinks. They were composed of 45.5% of boys and 54.5% of girls who were $18\sim21$ years old, studying food related science (63.9%), and mostly (86.6%) living in a nuclear family in collective residents (60.4%) like an apartment. The number of students whose family's monthly incomes were over 3 million won was the largest as 37.1%. Their mothers were housewives (58.4%) mostly aged $46\sim50$ as 47.0%. In the research on the preference of students for the traditional drinks, most of them, 78.7%, showed their liking for the drinks because of their good taste (61.%). The number of students who answered they got the drinks by homemaking was the largest as 39.6%. Most of them, 66.3%, preferred fruit drinks, 19.8% soda drinks, 11.4% traditional drinks and 2.5% functional drinks. 31.2% of the drinks mostly taken at home was green tea, followed by sweet rice drink, Shik-hae. Among the drinks coming into the market, sweet rice drink was preferred in general as 25.7%, and the next was green tea 16.8%, ume drink (Maesil tea) 14.9%, rice tea 13.9%, fruit punch (Sujeonggwa) 11.4%, black tea 7.9%, honey tea 4.5%, ginseng tea 2.5% and jujube tea 2.5%. In the research on 'whether the students had experience preparing the traditional drinks or not', many of them, 62.4%, answered "No". And in the questionnaire asking on 'whether they liked to receive a training on making traditional drinks or not', 87.6% of them showed their wish to get the training. In the question on the reason why the students did not like to take the training on traditional drinks, the number of students who answered that it was complicated and hard to prepare was the largest as 53.0%.
