For a Hilbert space H, let L(H) denote the algebra of all bounded operators on H. For an $n \in N$, it is well known that any element $T \in L(\oplus^n H)$ is expressed as an $n \times n$ matrix each of whose entries lies in L(H) so that T is written as $$ (1) T = (T_{ij}), i, j = 1, 2, ..., n, T_{ij} \in L(H), $$ where $\oplus^n H$ is the direct sum Hilbert space of n copies of H.

Composite resin have very important roles as a esthetic fillng material. Today we are confusing by a numerous number of the polymer options in the market. Are there any complications such as tooth sensitivity? Do they have stabilization in the long term aspect? These are the reasons why many dentists don't use composite resin in my country. But the problems can be overcome by choosing the best suited materials and meticulous clinical procedures. So that we are able to expand our clinical boundary. I would like to introduce the clinical techniques of Dr.Gordon Christensen in Utah, and overall clinical cases under the base of CRA newsletter.

Tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) has been widely used in environmental monitoring of gaseous species in the past decade. TDLAS is a direct measurement technique for pollutants such as NOx without any interference from other species. Because of its superior spectral purity (～0.001 ­$cm^{-1}$), absorption linewidths with resolvable rotational structure can be studied in the mid infrared region where strong fundamental vibrational transitions of molecules appear. The transient flow fields in direct injection engine was analyzed by using the STAR-CD CFD code during the intake/compression processes. The grids are generated by using the IC3M. The CFD results were compared with experimental data. The results showed that the used techniques were well suited for the flow analyses on any internal combustion engines.

Let R be a ring with identity and let $M=M_1{\bigoplus}M_2$ be an amply supplemented R-module. Then it is proved that $M_i$ has ($D_1$) and is $M_j-^*ojective$ for $i{\neq}j$, i = 1, 2, if and only if for any coclosed submodule X of M, there exist $M\acute{_1}{\leq}M_1$ and $M\acute{_2}{\leq}M_2$ such that $M=X{\bigoplus}M\acute{_1}{\bigoplus}M\acute{_2}$.

Recently, Liu (2005) proposed a special type of weighting function under a given preference index level with the minimal variability similar to the minimal variability OWA operator weights problem proposed by Fuller and Majlender (2003). He solved this problem using a result of classical optimal control theory. In this note, we give a direct elementary proof of this problem without using any known results.

In this paper, a left module over an associative ring with identity is defined to be openly semiprimitive (strongly semiprimitive, respectively) by the zero intersection of all maximal open fully invariant submodules (all maximal open submodules which are fully invariant, respectively) of it. For any projective module, the openly semiprimitivity of the projective module is an equivalent condition of the semiprimitivity of endomorphism ring of the projective module and the strongly semiprimitivity of the projective module is an equivalent condition of the endomorphism ring of the projective module being a sub direct product of a set of subdivisions of division rings.

A new concept ？？soft solution processing？？ has been introduced to fabricate advanced solid state materials in an economical, environmentally friendly, and energy and material efficient way. The prepared films show the desired and prospective properties despite of low temperature synthesis and no post-synthesis annealing. Successful examples demonstrate that soft solution processing is capable of preparing advanced materials with planned properties through the easy control of reaction conditions in a suitable aqueous solution in a single synthetic step without huge energy consumption and without any sophisticated equipment.

Direct and inverse mathematical operators of stereo transformation (stereo operators) are studied in this paper. The stereo operators install a one-to-one correspondence between three dimensional coordinates of any point in space and the stereo coordinates which can be displayed on the screen under the given conditions, i.e. stereo vision base and the position of viewer. The stereo operators can be applied to the analyses of stereoscopic image distortions when the stereo vision base and the position of viewer are changed.

Vulcanized rubber containing three kinds of oligomeric resins such as cashew resin, t-octylphenol formaldehyde resin and terpene modified wood rosin has been characterized by simultaneous pyrolysis methylation-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (SPM-GC/MS). After methylation by the SPM method using tetramethylammonium hydroxide, the methylated pyrolyzates of the corresponding resins were detected with higher sensitivity than underivatized pyrolyzates without any interferences from other ingredients of vulcanized rubber.
