Experimental Analysis of Correct Answer Characteristics in Question Answering Systems (질의응답시스템에서 정답 특징에 관한 실험적 분석)

  • One of the factors that have the greatest influence on the error of the question answering system that finds and provides answers to natural language questions is the step of searching for documents or passages that contain correct answers. In order to improve the retrieval performance, it is necessary to understand the characteristics of documents and passages containing correct answers. This paper experimentally analyzes how many question words appear in the correct answer documents, how the location of the question word is distributed, and how the topic of the question and the correct answer document are similar using the corpus composed of the question, the documents with correct answer, and the documents without correct answer. This study explains the causes of previous search research results for question answer system and discusses the necessary elements of effective search step.

  • This paper presents the need for the concept of collective intelligence based system for the timely learning and incorrect notes show the utilization and satisfaction. The old wrong answer note system is characterized by the provision of uniform right answer explanations for the questions whose answers were wrong by checking whether the evaluation items were answered right or wrong. The characteristic requires a lot of improvements in terms of wrong answer analysis and feedback since it cannot properly receive feedback on the items that a learner got right by luck in spite of poor understanding of them and on the errors in the selection process of wrong answers by individual learners. The SERO wrong answer note was designed to propose new ways to identify and capture such "score errors" and compensate for the practical weaknesses of learners. The Stability Emergency Risk Opportunity (SERO) wrong answer note is based on a method of categorizing and analyzing evaluation items answered by the examinee into four types (S, E, R and O type), and commentary correct as well as incorrect answers by presenting a variety of commentary notes using the collective intelligence of the study show that satisfaction is high.

  • The results analysis of National Assessment of Educational Achievement(NAEA) can provide various implications for teaching and learning in the school field. In this study we analyzed the deviation of NAEA achievement level-based correct-answer rate and the distribution of the responses percentages for three years from 2015 to 2017 focused on multiple-choice items. First we calculated the deviation of correct-answer rate between advanced level and proficient level and between proficient level and basic level, and then we selected the items whose deviation of correct-answer rate is more than the third quartile. We explored what the content areas, behavior areas and achievement standards of each item are and what the achievement standards and characteristics of these questions are. Based on the results of the analysis, we intended to derive implications for appropriate teaching-learning methods at each achievement-level.

  • In the process of solving a linear equation, some questions had equal sign('=') relation properly, while other questions did not have equal sign('=') relation properly. Since whether students could express equal sign('=') relation properly or not is determined by questions, the direction for teaching should be instituted, and instruction and teaching should be conducted by comparing and analyzing after conducing tests on may items. Most of students who got the answer for items without the method of solving a linear equation solved the items using binomial. For questions asking to solve using the characteristic of equality, most of students solved the questions using binomial instead of using the characteristic of equality. Therefore, instruction and learning to solve equations using both the characteristic of equality and binomial have to be achieved.

SUNSPOT MODELING AND SCALING LAWS

  • In an early paper Skumanich suggested the existence of a scaling law relating the mean sunspot magnetic field with the square-root of the photospheric pressure. This was derived from an analysis of a variety of theoretical spot models including those by Yun (1968). These were based on the Schliiter-Temesvary (S- T) similarity assumption. To answer criticisms that such modeling may have unphysical (non-axial maxima) solutions, the S-T model was revisited, Moon et al. (1998), with an improved vector potential function. We consider here the consequences of this work for the scaling relation. We show that by dimensionalizing the lateral force balance equation for the S- T model one finds that a single parameter enters as a characteristic value of the solution. This parameter yields Skumanich's scaling directly. Using an observed universal flux-radius relation for dark solar magnetic features (spots and pores) for comparison, we find good to fair agreement with Yun's characteristic value, however the Moon et al. values deviate significantly.

  • There has been no enough consistency about the question of 'Is it possible for golden section to be applied to product design\ulcorner'In addition, There has been no near answer about 'What is proportion\ulcorner and 'How can proportion be approached\ulcorner About this matter, this study identified various types of proportion through experiment design and consumer surrey. According to the results of this study, various and different types of proportion exist in product design and therefore, proportion in product design couldn't be considered by one-dimensional aesthetic element. This kind of study about the types of proportion could give an good answer abort the matter of 'Is it possible for golden section to be applied to product design\ulcorner'and it's expected practically to give a useful insight to the approach of Product design in Which proportion is considered. In addition, preferred proportion structure is different according to the consumer characteristic, successful design strategy such as niche market penetration could be performed if designers classify consumer characteristic systematically.

  • As for the characteristic of elements for a lot of communication used in light communication systems, it is affected according to structure of directional coupler. We carried out study on a characteristic of the directional coupler which had waveguide structure to have perturbation phenomenon in this paper and ran simulation on the characteristic that we changed structure of directional coupler too, and was got. Confirmation was able to do that it operated with an optical filter, and the directional coupler which added waveguide structure to produce perturbation phenomenon by the results was able to confirm what we adjusted duty ratio of waveguide structure too, and operated with a more excellent optical filter. Through simulation, the case that duty ratio changed than the case that duty ratio of waveguide structure was $50\%$ was able to get an excellent answer characteristic of a -l8dB degree.

  • In the field of deep learning, there are many algorithms mainly after GAN in research related to generation, but in terms of generation, there are similarities and differences with art. If the generation in the engineering aspect is mainly to judge the presence or absence of a quantitative indicator or the correct answer and the incorrect answer, the creation in the artistic aspect creates a creation that interprets the world and human life by cross-validating and doubting the correct answer and incorrect answer from various perspectives. In this paper, the video generation ability of deep learning was interpreted from the perspective of collage and compared with the results made by the artist. The characteristic of the experiment is to compare and analyze how much GAN reproduces the result of the creator made with the collage technique and the difference between the creative part, and investigate the satisfaction level by making performance evaluation items for the reproducibility of GAN. In order to experiment on how much the creator's statement and purpose of expression were reproduced, a deep learning algorithm corresponding to the statement keyword was found and its similarity was compared. As a result of the experiment, GAN did not meet much expectations to express the collage technique. Nevertheless, the image association showed higher satisfaction than human ability, which is a positive discovery that GAN can show comparable ability to humans in terms of abstract creation.

  • A therapeutic following confirming symptom(辨證施治) has a proper characteristic in oriental medicine, which can be grasped but by pathological body reflection not by histological or molecular level etiology. It is also able to be selected a prescription by means of clinical trials which promote human body's natural resurgent. Whereas, a therapeutic regimen prescription(定病傳方) has a merit in prescribing a disease to the point. which has been developed and established a therapy method naturally for thousands years. Then, which of the two is the better method in clinic? The answer is a co-exist of the two therapy methods in a matter of developing deciding therapeutic cooperation. To tie a knot, two methods need the opposite one.

A theoretical study on the shock-absorbing characteristic of safety helmet (안전모의 충격전달에 관한 이론적 고찰)

  • The need for the protection of workers in many industrial workstations has long been recognized, and many type of protective equipment have been devised. In many protective equipment designs, this study set limits to the safety helmet. The direct closed head impact problem was idealized as a linear-damped spring model. This study concerns what properties of helment should afford optimal protection in a direct closed head impact problem. The solution to the problem was achieved through analytic method and numerical computation. The answer was found in terms of 4 parameters : 1) rigidity of shell, 2) viscosity of shell, 3)rigidity of harness, 4) viscosity of harness. The choices are as follows 1) to reduce the rigidity value of harness as small as possible 2) to increase the viscosity value of harness as large as possible. 3) to select the rigidity value of shell sufficient for preventing a breakage.
