분산전원이 연계된 배전계통의 최적 설비투자 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimal Investment Method for Distribution Systems Interconnected with Dispersed Generations)

  • This paper deals with the optimal investment method for distribution facilities, based on the analytical approach for the reliability assessment in distribution systems interconnected with new dispersed generations. The existing approach can estimate the expected reliability performance of distribution systems by a direct assessment of the configuration of the systems using the reliability indexes such as NDP(Non-Delivery Power) and NDE(Non-Delivery Energy). The indexes can only consider the number and configuration of the load, but can not consider the characteristics of the load which is the one of the most important factor in the investment cost for the distribution systems. Therefore, this paper presents the new performance indexes for the investment of the distribution facilities considering both the expected interruption cost for the load section and the operation characteristics of dispersed generations. The results from a case study show that the proposed methods can be a practical tool for the voltage management in distribution systems including dispersed sources.

  • In the present study, a shape design optimization scheme in shell structures is implemented based on the integrated framework of geometric modeling and analysis. The common representation of B-spline surface patch is used for geometric modeling. A geometrically-exact shell finite element is implemented. Control points or the surface are employed as design variables. In the computation of shape sensitivity, semi-analytical method is employed. Sequential linear programming is applied to the shape optimization of surfaces. The developed integrated framework should serve as a powerful tool to design and analysis of surfaces.

토목공사용 파워팩의 동적 안정성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Dynamic Stability of a Power Pack for Heavy Construction Equipments)

  • Power packs can change energy to hydraulic energy generated by an engine as a tool for use with civil engineering construction equipment. This paper determines which type of power pack meets the standards of construction machinery. A power pack was formulated as a three-dimensional model by using the software CATIA. A modal analysis was conducted using ANSYS Workbench, and the resonance was checked. Next, a harmonic analysis was conducted. The analytical results show that the dynamic stability of the power pack is assured.

  • The strengthening of a metal matrix composite(MMC) by the shape memory effect(SME) of dispersed TiNi particles was theoretically studied. An analytical model was constructed for the prediction of the average residual stress(<$\sigma$>/sub/m) on the base of the Eshelby's equivalent inclusion method. The analysis was performed on the TiNi particle/Al metal matrix composites with varying volume fractions and prestrains of the particle. The residual stress caused by the shape memory of predeformed fillers has been predicted to contribute significantly to the strengthening of this composite.

구동토크의 고주파 변동 성분이 존재하는 회전원판의 횡진동 거동에 대한 실험 검증 (Experimental Verification for Transverse Vibration Behavior of a Spinning Disk with Torque Variation)

  • This paper intends to identify experimentally the relationship between transverse vibration behavior of a spinning disk and high-frequency fluctuation in the driving torque. A testrig has been developed using a CD-ROM disk, a driving motor with torque-varying capability and a power transmission belt and a laser vibrometer was employed to measure the transverse vibration displacements of the disk for a certain range of the spinning speed. The results show that the spinning speed and the magnitude and frequency of the torque fluctuation affect the stability of the disk. In other word, the torque fluctuation causes the instability of the disk at several ranges of the spinning speed below the critical speed and its effects become larger as the disk spins faster or the magnitude of torque fluctuation becomes bigger. The experimental results are found to be in good agreement with analytical estimation.

연삭기용 직각 전자척의 자력특성에 관한 연구 (Magnetic Charateristics of Square Electro-Magnetic Chuck for Grinding Machine)

  • The new square electro-magnetic chuck, which can be used for the clamping devices on a grinding machine, is developed in this study to improve the convenience of grinding works. The various kinds of structures are recommended to find the most adequate magnetic characteristics through the analytical approach using finite element methods. The analyzed results are retrofitted to solve the drawbacks of previous models step by step by considering the magnetic fields, strength and distribution of drag force, and thermal deformations of chuck such as high parallelism and flatness. Finally the best recommended models is designed to satisfy the KS specifications required fur the commercial magnetic chuck. The prototype chuck with this dimensions and structures is manufactured. For this final model, the experimental verifications are investigated whether the KS specifications are satisfied.

  • The purpose of this paper is to get a powerful tool for response analysis of a spherical dome subjected to dynamic excitation based on mathematically analytical method, i. e., the Galerkin procedure in modal analysis, with sufficient accuracy and practicality. At first, this paper provides an approximate solution of eigen modes, which has sufficient accuracy and praticallity for response analysis in symmetric and antisymmetric state. In the second stage of this paper, response analysis of a dome subjected to horizontal earthquakes is executed as the application of these approximate modes. Many important response characteristics may manifest themselves through parametric survey of material and geometric properties.

Energy-based damage index for steel structures

  • Ample research effort has been oriented into developing damage indices with the aim of estimating in a reasonable manner the consequences, in terms of structural damage and deterioration, of severe plastic cycling. Although several studies have been devoted to calibrate damage indices for steel and reinforced concrete members; currently, there is a challenge to study and calibrate the use of such indices for the practical evaluation of complex structures. The aim of this paper is to introduce an energy-based damage index for multi-degree-of-freedom steel buildings that accounts explicitly for the effects of cumulative plastic deformation demands. The model has been developed by complementing the results obtained from experimental testing of steel members with those derived from analytical studies regarding the distribution of plastic demands on several steel frames designed according to the Mexico City Building Code. It is concluded that the approach discussed herein is a promising tool for practical structural evaluation of framed structures subjected to large energy demands.

  • In this paper, the curing reaction of UF resins was investigated by a real time FT-IR method. The curing temperature range of the UF resin was $25{\sim}200^{\circ}C$. It was found that the reactions of UF resin at different temperatures resultedin resins with different cross-linked structures. A real time FT-IR spectroscopy can be considered as a good routine analytical tool for following the progress of UF resin curing.

  • Flagship store has rapidly come into being is the typical tool of brand-communication between enterprises and consumers. Flagstore comprised of a lot of tastes delivers brand-image and builds brand- identity. this research on the ground of Semiotics by Pierce, examined closely the connections between two tastes and analyzed the brand-image had prodused through tastes. The method study restricts the four analytical subjects of the fashion-brands have successfully built brand-image and identity and arranges each brand - identity and constructive strategy. After that, it analyzes the examples of Flagstore on the ground of Semiotics. The purpose of this research focuses how the tastes will have occurred on the Flagstore will express and analyze the brand -identities and presents a methodology it will be able to designe.
