Split-flow thin cell fractionation (SPLITT fractionation, SF) is a particle separation technique that allows continuous (and thus a preparative scale) separation into two subpopulations based on the particle size or the density. In SF, there are two basic performance parameters. One is the throughput (TP), which was defined as the amount of sample that can be processed in a unit time period. Another is the fractionation efficiency (FE), which was defined as the number % of particles that have the size predicted by theory. Full-feed depletion mode (FFD-SF) have only one inlet for the sample feed, and the channel is equipped with a flow stream splitter only at the outlet in SF mode. In conventional FFD-mode, it was difficult to extend channel due to splitter in channel. So, we use large scale splitter-less FFD-SF to increase TP from increase channel scale. In this study, a FFD-SF channel was developed for a large-scale fractionation, which has no flow stream splitters (‘splitter less’), and then was tested for optimum TP and FE by varying the sample concentration and the flow rates at the inlet and outlet of the channel. Polyurethane (PU) latex beads having two different size distribution (about 3~7 µm, and about 2~30 µm) were used for the test. The sample concentration was varied from 0.2 to 0.8% (wt/vol). The channel flow rate was varied from 70, 100, 120 and 160 mL/min. The fractionated particles were monitored by optical microscopy (OM). The sample recovery was determined by collecting the particles on a 0.1 µm membrane filter. Accumulation of relatively large micron sized particles in channel could be prevented by feeding carrier liquid. It was found that, in order to achieve effective TP, the concentration of sample should be at higher than 0.4%.

This study was conducted to assess forest biomass resource which is a carbon sink and a renewable resource in Korea. The total forest biomass resource potential was 804 million tons, and conifers, broadleaved forest and mixed forest accounted for 265 million tons, 282 million tons, and 257 million tons, respectively. Proportionately to regional forest stocks, biomass potential of Gangwon-do had most biomass potential, followed by Gyeongsangbuk-do and Gyeongsangnam-do. The woody biomass from the byproduct of sawn timber in commercial harvesting was 707 thousand ton/year, and that from the byproduct of forest tending was 592 thousand ton/year. The amount resulted in about 1,300 thousand ton/year of potential supplies from forest biomass resource into the energy market. It's tonnage of oil equivalent(toe) was 585 thousand ton/year. In this study, we developed a program (BiomassMap V2.0) for forest biomass resource mapping. Used system to develop this program was Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Office Access ArcGIS and Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. Additionally, This program made use of tool such as ESRI MapObjects2.1 in order to take advantage of spatial information. This program shows the map of total biomass stock, annual biomass growth at forest land in Korea, and biomass production from forest tending and commercial harvesting. The information can also be managed by the program. The biomass resource map can be identified by regional and forest type for the purpose of utilization. So, we expect the map and program to be very useful for forest managers in the near future.

Marketing channel is recognized as one of the society systems which have the character of functional organization. These organizations are related to each other for specialized and cooperative work. Channel members in distribution channel are striving to accomplish exchange through reciprocal action. Thus channel members exercise their power to take better position in exchange. There will be struggling between members about satisfaction and conflict during this power exercise. Now a days, buyers use more harsh power as large retail firms are increasing. This phenomenon is occurring in the distribution channel. However, there will be different phenomenon in case of agricultural products. Not like industrial product suppliers, agricultural product suppliers have various supply channels and many agricultural products are seasonal. It has also unstable amount supplies. There should be differentiated marketing in agricultural products. Relatively weaker powered suppliers have to strengthen comparative factors and also have to be technically specialized through assessed experience in order to establish strong product sales chain. Making a brand of agricultural product would be also a good idea to increase the product comparability. Channel members need to be recognized their specialized functions in order to make balanced distribution channel. There have to be conversion of concept of relation between suppliers and buyers from subordinate relationship to cooperative relationship.
Commerce enriches human life enriched and within commerce, transportation of cargo is arguably the most important in business transactions. Traditionally, marine transport has been major commercial transaction, but carriage cargo by air is on the increase. While the fare for freight in comparison with that of ocean is higher, air freight has many benefits that justify the higher shipping fee; lower insurance premium, packing charges, inventory control, cost management and especially speed. Therefore, air freight transport is accumulating gradually. An air waybill(AWB) is needed in the air transport flow. It is a nonnegotiable security, so the holder cannot transfer of a right to a third party. Some scholars suggest that a negotiable AWB is needed. However, it seems nearly impossible to do so; an e-AWB use shows a gain in numbers, even if it has not met expectations. Going forward, it would appear reasonable to conduct a follow-up study on the utility and legal problem for e-AWB. After sending goods, the consignor has the right of disposition of cargo in some cases, and more research is necessary, because it is related to change of ownership and a trade settlement. According to WATS (World Airlines Transport Statistics), the Korean Air took third place in international freight in 2014, and fifth in total, domestic and international to great acclaim. However, there is a lack of research supporting the business showing. It is hope that more studies on e-AWB, stoppage in transit, and a risk of outstanding amount, etc. connect to develop Korean air freight industry.
The purpose of this study was to examine the causes of career interruptions among dental hygienists, institutional measures required for their long service and ways of creating a stable employment culture for them in determine how to resolve labor shortage, create stable jobs, and step up the reemployment of idle manpower. In addition, the following suggestions are made for the establishment of a stable employment culture for dental hygienists by analyzing related literature, research materials, and information such as forums for establishing appropriate jobs for female dental workers. First, a system should be set up to prevent career interruption among dental hygienists. The work environment should be improved to prevent career breaks, and the wages, working hours, and working style should be efficiently structured to maintain the tenure of employees. Second, a plan should be devised to make use of idle manpower, and a variety of necessary programs should be developed. With respect to regular working hours, the time conversion system should be used, which reduces the amount of time one would want to work while receiving a national subsidy. Third, dental hygienists working in different occupations for marriage, childbirth, childcare, school and personal hygiene should make a way to return to the dental system immediately when they want. Fourth, the government should take institutional measures and offer down-to-earth support and benefits for women consideration their social characteristics to guarantee a balance between work and childcare.

The adsorption and persistence of pencycuron {1-(4-chlorobenzyl) cyclopentyl-3-phenylurea} in soils were investigated under laboratory and field conditions to in order to assess the safety use and environmental impact. In the adsorption rate experiments, a significant power function of relation was found between the adsorbed amount of pencycuron and the shaking time. Within one hour following the shaking, the adsorption amounts in the SCL and the SiCL were 60 and 65% of the maximum adsorption amounts, respectively. The adsorption reached a quasi-equilibrium 12 hours after shaking. The adsorption isotherms followed the Freundlich equation. The coefficient (1/n) indicating adsorption strength and degree of nonlinearity was 1.45 for SCL and 1.68 to SiCL. The adsorption coefficients ($K_d$) were 2.31 for SCL and 2.92 to SiCL, and the organic carbon partition coefficient, $K_{oc}$, was 292.9 in SCL and 200.5 inSiCL. In the laboratory study, the degradation rate of pencycuron in soils followed a first-order kinetic model. The degradation rate was greatly affected by soil temperature. As soil incubation temperature was increased from 12 to $28^{\circ}C$, the residual half life was decreased from 95 to 20 days. Arrhenius activation energy was 57.8 kJ $mol^{-1}$. Furthermore, the soil moisture content affected the degradation rate. The half life in soil with 30 to 70% of field moisture capacity was ranged from 21 to 38 days. The moisture dependence coefficient, B value in the empirical equation was 0.65. In field experiments, the half-life were 26 and 23 days, respectively. The duration for period of 90% degradation was 57 days. The difference between SCL and SiCL soils varied to pencycuron degradation rates were very limited, particularly under the field conditions, even though the characteristics of both soils are varied.

In combustion facilities, the nitrogen and sulfur in fossil fuels react with oxygen to generate air pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NOX) and sulfur oxides (SOX), which are harmful to the human body and cause environmental pollution. There are regulations worldwide to reduce NOX and SOX, and various technologies are being applied to meet these regulations. There are commercialized methods to reduce NOX and SOX emissions such as selective catalytic reduction (SCR), selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) and wet flue gas desulfurization (WFGD), but due to the disadvantages of these methods, many studies have been conducted to simultaneously remove NOX and SOX. However, even in the NOX and SOX simultaneous removal methods, there are problems with wastewater generation due to oxidants and absorbents, costs incurred due to the use of catalysts and electrolysis to activate specific oxidants, and the harmfulness of gas oxidants themselves. Therefore, in this research, microbubbles generated in a high-pressure disperser and reducing agents were used to reduce costs and facilitate wastewater treatment in order to compensate for the shortcomings of the NOX, SOX simultaneous treatment method. It was confirmed through image processing and ESR (electron spin resonance) analysis that the disperser generates real microbubbles. NOX and SOX removal tests according to temperature were also conducted using only microbubbles. In addition, the removal efficiencies of NOX and SOX are about 75% and 99% using a reducing agent and microbubbles to reduce wastewater. When a small amount of oxidizing agent was added to this microbubble system, both NOX and SOX removal rates achieved 99% or more. Based on these findings, it is expected that this suggested method will contribute to solving the cost and environmental problems associated with the wet oxidation removal method.
The current situation of ports and related industries is transitioning from quantitative growth in increased cargo volume and expansion of port facilities to qualitative growth in the role of ports through the creation of high value-added. Ports are now recognized as playing an important role in economic growth and development by generating high value-added, not just by increasing the amount of cargo and expanding port facilities. This study evaluated the importance of factors affecting the improvement of the Busan Port's marine equipment industry by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) to derive the priority of improvement measures by factor and evaluate the importance of factors affecting the marine equipment industry. The factors that should be considered when selecting improvement measures for the marine equipment industry were selected as four factors: strengthening price competitiveness, increasing government and local government interest, strengthening promotion, and establishing a global network. The main sub-factors were composed of eight detailed evaluation factors by selecting two factors for each layer. The analysis was designed by dividing the factor hierarchy for selecting improvement measures for the marine equipment industry into three levels and creating survey questions for pairwise comparison. The priority of the analysis results using AHP showed that the factor with the highest priority was strengthening price competitiveness, followed by increasing government and local government interest, establishing a global network, and strengthening promotion. According to the analysis results for the second-level sub-factors, among the factors for strengthening price competitiveness, low distribution costs and storage costs were considered most important, followed by avoiding excessive competition among marine equipment companies. Among the factors for increasing government and local government interest, improving customs procedures and tariff refund procedures were considered most important, followed by strengthening incentives from the government and Busan City. Among the factors for establishing a global network, promoting large-scale marine equipment companies was considered most important, followed by actively participating in international marine equipment-related associations. Among the factors for strengthening promotion, active use of the Internet was considered most important, followed by holding domestic and international exhibitions. Based on this study, we hope to help activate Busan Port's market by enhancing its competitiveness through revitalizing its marine equipment industry, generating water traffic, and creating new value-added.

The investigations were conducted to improve the fertilizer use in upland soil on the different topographies, and crops at 163 upland fields located in the parts of Gyengsangbuk-do area. The soil distribution was based on crops, and topographiese. Soils from these fields were analyzed for pH, organic mater, available phosphorus ($P_2O_5$), exchangeable potassium, calcium and magnesium, and found to have pH5.9, organic mater 23.2 g $kg^{-1}$, $P_2O_5$ 549 mg $kg^{-1}$, exchangeable potassium, calcium and magnesium were 0.9, 5.6, and 2.3 $cmol^+\;kg^{-1}$, respectively. The excessive distribution percent of soil samples for crops were higher than the optimum range in $P_2O_5$, and exchangeable potassium. The content of organic matter, $P_2O_5$, exchangeable potassium, calcium, and magnesium were increased with the decreasing slope. The major chemical components in fans topographies were 28.4 g $kg^{-1}$ for organic matter, 700 mg $kg^{-1}$ for $P_2O_5$, and 1.0 $cmol_c\;kg^{-1}$ for exchangeable potassium relatively higher in comparison with other topographies. The content of $P_2O_5$ were lower in diluvium, and hilly areas than other topographies. The soil of red pepper was more influenced by the amount of applied fertility than the slope, and topographies, On the other hand the crops like soybean and sesame, were more affected by the slope, and topographies.

Purpose: Measure the ozone level in the treatment room while treating a patient so want to know the degree of contamination caused by ozone occurrence. Materials and Methods: Use the linear accelerator (Clinac 21EX, Varian, USA) with the ozone meter (series-200, aeroQual, New Zealand) and water phantom (Wellhofer, IBA, Germany) is irradiated the radiation so that measured the ozone generation level according to MU, dose-rate, SSD, field size, energy, delay time and put the ozone meter in the treatment room actually while treating a patient so measured the daily ozone level variation. Results: While irradiating the radiation, degree of ozone contamination wasn't affected by the energy but mostly in case of electron beam, ozone level was higher than photon beam. The higher dose-rate (0.016~0.025 ppm/hr), the farther SSD (0.018~0.030 ppm/hr), the wider field sizes (0.016~0.025 ppm/hr), the more MU (0.018~0.046 ppm/hr), it occurred high ozone level. Ozone decrement according to delay time changed the background level (0.016 ppm/hr) after elapsed time of 10 minutes from irradiating radiation. And daily ozone occurrence level in the treatment room was below ozone standard level 0.1 ppm/hr (average:0.06 ppm/8 hr) but it could confirm that ozone generation level was included the level (max:0.038 ppm/hr) above 0.02 ppm/hr which patient could perceive. Conclusion: Through ozone level according to variation of certain conditions, actually in the treatment room ozone generation level didn't damaged to patients or workers. Commonly peoples think that ozone was harmful gas but it thought that small amount of ozone generation level while treating a patient was beneficial in the treatment room through air purge action of pathogenic germ or virus sterilization.
