블록펄스함수 전개를 이용한 Descriptor 시스템의 대수적 관측기 설계 (Algebraic Observer Design for Descriptor Systems via Block-pulse Function Expansions)

  • In the last two decades, many researchers proposed various usages of the orthogonal functions such as Walsh, Haar and BPF to solve the system analysis, optimal control, and identification problems from and algebraic form. In this paper, a simple procedure to design and algerbraic observer for the descriptor system is presented by using block pulse function expansions. The main characteristic of this technique is that it converts differential observer equation into an algerbraic equation. And furthermore, a simple recursive algorithm is proposed to obtain BPFs coefficients of the observer equation.

  • This paper deals with an algebraic approach for unknown inputs observer by using Haar functions. In the algebraic UIO(unknown input observer) design procedure, coordinate transformation method is adopted to derive the reduced order dynamic system which is decoupled unknown inputs and Haar function and its integral operational matrix is applied to avoid additional differentiation of system outputs.

  • Unknown inputs observer(UIO) which is achieved by the coordinate transformation method has the differential of system outputs in the observer and the equation for unknown inputs estimation. Generally, the differential of system outputs in the observer can be eliminated by defining a new variable. But it brings about the partition of the observer into two subsystems and need of an additional differential of system outputs still remained to estimate the unknown inputs. Therefore, the block pulse function expansions and its differential operation which is a newly derived in this paper are presented to alleviate such problems from an algebraic form.

  • This paper deals with an algebraic approach to FDI observer design procedure. In general, FDI observer can be designed a sLuenbrger-type and equations for unknown input and actuator fault estimation include derivation of system outputs which is not available from the measurement directly. At this point, this paper presents STWS approach which can convert the derivation procedure to the recursive algebraic form by using its orthogonality and disjointess to alleviate such problems.

  • It is well known that the orthogonal function is a very useful to estimate an unknown inputs in the linear dynamic systems for its recursive algebraic algorithm. At this aspects, derivative operation(matrix) of orthogonal functions(walsh, block pulse and haar) are introduced and shown how it can useful to design an UIO(unknown inputs observer) design.

  • The design of observers for the systems with unknown and unmeasurable disturbances is treated. A generalized observer design method is proposed and existence conditions are established by combining the existing two different approaches` disturbance modelling approach by O'Reilly and algebraic approach by Kudva et. al.. The proposed approach, therefore, takes the advantages and removes the shortcomings of the existing two approaches in view points of dimensionality and existence conditions of the observer. To show the usefulness of the approach, a numerical example is given.

  • This paper presents a systematic and straightforward fault estimation approach for process fault detection. isolation and accommodation. The approach includes the design of a reduced-order observer and an algebraic-fault estimator. The observer is designed for an unknown input and fault-free system, which is obtained by coordinate transformations of original systems with unknown inputs and faults. The observer information is devoted to- the fault estimation for fault detection and isolation. The fault estimates can be used to form an additional control input to accommodate the fault. The suggested scheme is verified through simulation studies performed on the control of a vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft in the vertical plane.

  • 본 논문은 시변 시간 지연을 가지는 선형 뉴트럴 시스템에 관한 관측기 설계 및 안정도 해석에 관해서 논의한다. 시변 시간 지연을 가지는 선형 뉴트럴 시스템의 안정도를 판별하기 위하여 Lyapunov-Krasovskii의 이론을 도입한다. 오차 상태 방정식의 안정도 조건으로 시간 변동 시간 지연에 종속적인 충분조건을 제시한다. 선형 행렬 부등식의 해를 이용하여 관측기의 이득 값을 설계하며, 설계된 관측기를 이용하여 오차 상태 방정식의 안정도를 판별한다. 본 논문의 결과는 Luenberger가 제안했던 관측기의 일반적인 결과를 나타냄을 확인한다. 모의실험을 통해 제안된 이론을 입증한다.

  • This paper introduces the design of a reduced order observer with unknown inputs for the purpose of fault detection and isolation(FDI) in a class of bilinear systems. To Analyze the observer and FDI, this paper uses BPF(block-pulse functions). The operational properties of BPF are much applied to the analysis of bilinear systems. The integral operational matrix BPF converts the form of the differential equation into the algebraic problems.

  • 위성의 각속도를 추정하는 비선형 관측기의 설계방법을 제안한다. SDRE 기법을 이용하여 관측기를 설계하는데, 오차 수렴에 대한 충분조건을 제시하였다. 대수 Riccati 형태의 이 조건은, 비선형 항을 Lipschitz 형태로 변환하고 이에 대한 수렴 조건을 유도하여 구해진다. 이 조건으로부터 관측기의 게인을 구할 수 있으며, 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 제안한 방법을 검증하였다.
