University teacher education programs have sought for ways of how to improve student teaching in order to supply mathematics teachers with practical theory to achieve the goals of the current educational reform in school mathematics. In this context, the purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of student teachers' teaching experience in the after-school mathematics programs and the ways of how to develop the after-school learning programs as an effective site for learning to teach based on the inquiry into student teachers' own teaching experience. For the purpose, data were collected through the interviews with the student teachers who had taught after-school mathematics class. In addition, data were collected through survey, class observation, and seminal meetings with the student teachers in order to supplement the findings from the interview analysis. Data analysis focused on the student teachers' experience with teaching in after-school mathematics classes, that is, what and how they had learned as teachers, what kinds of difficulties they encountered in their teaching and supports that they expect to improve their learning through teaching. The analysis shows that the teaching experience in the after-school programs had positively contributed to their development as future mathematics teachers. Specifically, the after-school programs provide the site for learning through teaching at the early stage of teacher education program. The after-school programs provided the students teachers for the opportunity to participate peripherally in educational practice of school. Through the participation, the student teachers developed positive attitudes toward teaching career and became to have more solid ideas about how to teach mathematics. Based on the analysis, this research provides following suggestions concerning how to improve student teaching. First, it is necessary to provide student teachers to participate into the practice of teaching at the early stage of teacher education programs. Second, it is important to give students teacher opportunity to participate in teaching at peripheral and legitimate positions. Finally, it is necessary to construct mentoring networks to support student teachers to move from a peripheral position toward a center of teaching practice.
The purpose of this article is to introduce the Sports, Play, and Active Recreation for Kids (SPARK) physical education curriculum. SPARK is a model for health-related, research-based and evidence-based physical education programs in the United States. The outcome of school physical education can relate to public health, but there exists few evidence-based physical education programs reporting health-related variables. School physical education can provide more opportunities for children and adolescents to be physically active and to learn more about healthy lifestyles. However, physical education programs have been cut and eliminated due to lack of funding in the U.S. as in South Korea. Although facing these problems, SPARK programs have been implemented in over 50% of schools, after school programs and coordinated school health programs in the U.S. This article reviewed: (a) background information of the SPARK program, (b) examples of effective interventions, and (c) methods of dissemination to schools nationally in the U.S. The methods showed in SPARK may use as a model for researching, developing and implementing new physical education(PE) program and after school programs in Korea.
The major purpose of this study is to investigate the actual condition of elementary school, nursery school, social welfare facilities providing after-school child care programs and to suggest new after-school program which is focused on social and emotional development for children of dual-earner couples. The cases of current after-school programs in Seoul and Gyeonggi area were analyzed. The results are as follows. First, it was showed Hat elementary school' child care programs after school were designed for speciality-aptitude education during 3-4 hours. Second, nursery school's programs were showed to instruct children in homework and make up learning and were operating until late evening. But the nursery school fee is more expensive than the other facilities. Third, social welfare facilities have a variety of program than elementary school and nursery school. But the program still consist of homework, supplementary lessons, speciality education etc. These facilities have too much students, compared to the teachers
This study reviews the current status of Korean first graders, their experience with early care and education (ECE) programs, and their participation in private and after-school education. The research also examines how school adjustment during the first grade is related to family income, types of ECE programs, and participation in private and after-school education. Using the first year data of the Korean Child and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) 2010, this study analyzes 752 first graders who attended only one of two types of ECE programs (child care centers or kindergartens), after which two 25% income extremes were examined. The analysis demonstrates that children from low-income households attended child care centers more often, while children from high-income households attended kindergartens more often. For both low-income and high-income groups, child care centers had a lower starting age and longer attendance periods than did kindergartens. High-income household children started attending ECE programs earlier, experienced more private and after-school education, and received a larger number of private and after-school educational lessons. For the second research purpose, children from low-income families showed better peer relations in school adjustment, while children attending child care centers showed better teacher relations than children attending kindergartens. Children with after-school education also exhibited better peer relations. These findings show the importance of government support for early learning, especially for low-income families and offer a foundation for developing private education polices for early childhood before and after school entry.
School activities which are opened after-school or during a vacation have been social issues as our society is nuclearized and both parents are working, so that elementary school students and middle school students are less taken care of and less concerned by their parents. It is regrettable that students are spending too much time on private academies in the situation where they cannot help but staying alone after school and where frantic fever of private education pervades their lives. For the sake of those students, the Ministry of Education announced, "Each school can open its after-school programs or vacation programs based on students and their parents' demands making it a rule of a student's voluntary participation. After school programs for elementary and middle school students are operated by local communities providing extra courses or programs in addition to regular classes. Those programs are paid by participants or supported by financial aids in order to decrease parents' burdens of costs of private education and to reduce educational gaps between rich and poor children or between the regions. After school programs are either curricular or non-curricular educational activities with students' voluntary participation, and the programs are meant to supplement and strengthen the role of public school education. Non-curricular courses that consist of various programs, in particular, are receiving good reputations by students and parents. Therefore, this study develops and operates "children's making D.I.Y. furniture" program that is one of non-curricular courses and an activity-oriented art program for children to improve their designing creativity and to help them experience their future jobs in advance. The purpose of this study is to analyze advantages and disadvantages of the program using survey and assessment methods and to find out a developmental direction focused on future-oriented and specialized educational programs for children.
Elementary school education in Korea has been constantly changing according to the requirements of social change. Contemporary primary education is oriented creative-education and institutional changes were required. As a result, it is appearing movement wants to get out of uniform curriculum of elementary school. This paper was carried out to analyze after-school programs other than the curriculum of elementary education school and to analyze the current status of the space use of school facilities. Based on this analysis, it is proposed utilization of spatial association between the elementary school and local public facilities.
Representative services of the afterschool in Korea are After-Schools of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Community Child Centers, After-school Child Care, and Youth After-school Academy of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Family. Each service is distinguished with its own founded laws, subject children, specialists, principle management agent, a number of participants, and more. Research issues of afterschool are development of new afterschool programs, evaluatjon of the effectiveness of the afterschool, establishment of policies related to cooperative efforts among the different services of the afterschool, obtainment of legal status, and enhancement of the credential of its personnels. To guarantee the quality of the Afterschool and improve personnels' working conditions, various means are to be implemented. In regard to programatic and policy issues, the afterschool is needed to establish a system for training the afterschool coordinators and of its accreditation and to develop more child-centered afterschool programs. Also, it is needed to legislate fundamental law and consolidate communication system among the services of the Afterschool in pursue of their effective utilization and actual expansion.

Purpose: During and after Covid-19 pandemic, technology has emerged as a key factor in supporting the recovery of the economy and the rise of living standards. This study examines seven factors affecting the intention of food delivery apps usage, which include Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Hedonic Motivation, Price Value, and Habit, and how much influence they have on the customers' behavioral continuance of food delivery apps after Covid-19 Pandemic. Research methodology: This research is a quantitative descriptive research with 473 qualified respondents from 550 respondents collected. Besides using the UTAUT2 model (Venkatesh et al., 2012), Information Quality was added to give a better explanation for the consumers' intention towards continuance behavior using food delivery apps. The collected data is then processed using SPSS 22.0. Results: Habit factors and Information Quality factors have significant positive effects on promoting food delivery apps usage intention, which in turn influences continuance behavior. In addition, Habit factors and Information Quality factors together have an effect of 48.57% on Behavioral Intention. Conclusion: The result proves that positive habits and food information quality can increase the usage intention towards the behavioral continuance of consumers. Higher usage frequency can be improved by increasing these two factors.
The future society, a knowledge and information society and at the same time a lifelong learning society, may be defined as the society that will embody the concept of human nature to help all the members of the society live together. The conclusions on the analysis of the types of classrooms $vis-\grave{a}-vis$ the special skills and aptitude training for students, lifelong education programs, and direction of spaces with free access after school hours are as follows : The spaces for school facilities in each domain are elaborated in Table 5. and Table 6. For spaces for special skills, aptitude programs, and lifelong education programs, there are general lecture rooms, special classrooms, and arts and physical fitness classrooms since most of the educational programs consist of culture, jobs, and hobby-related activities. Spaces are divided further into those exclusively for specific subjects and those for common use that can be utilized after school hours. They are presented in Table 8. Based on the conclusion with respect to the laying out of spaces in regular high schools, exclusive spaces for each subject and spaces for common use after school hours should be separately arranged.
The purpose of this study was intended to identify the difference of two sample groups for the student's awareness on the environment after ecological education in elementary school. For the elementary school participated in this study, we studied how the education influences the student's awareness on the environment using survey. The result showed that even though various kinds of environmental education programs were given to the participated group, there was no significance compared with the other group who did not participate. This was probably because the students not participated in the education program were frequently exposed to other similar types of environmental activities. In terms of the change of the student's awareness on the environment and their desire for continuing environmental education in future, 95.8% of students who participated in the survey showed positive answers. Considering the current environmental education that has mostly been made in class and the lack of variety of the education program, various types of environmental education programs are required, so schools, education system, and social groups should work together to compensate for the lack of the in-class education. In addition, the change of students awareness and altitude toward the environment proved the positive effect of the environmental program and showed the appropriateness increasing the opportunity for the environmental education.
