Purpose - This study aims to investigate domestic wine consumption behavior and make future sales strategies and marketing plans. Research design, data, and methodology - To achieve the purpose of the study, the surveys were conducted targeting 350 wine customers in Jeju and Seoul. 331 responses were collected, and out of them, 21 responses were deleted because they lacked the proper information fill in. A descriptive statistical analysis was applied to the remaining 310 responses. The statistical techniques used for carrying out hypothesis-testing are EFA_(exploratory factor analysis), multiple-regression analysis, and moderating effect in SPSS 18.0. Results - The results indicate that fashion oriented, sociality aspiration and rationality seeking lifestyles had significant influence upon internal attributes. However, well-being oriented and having enjoyment oriented lifestyle had no significant influence upon internal attributes. Furthermore, all the types of lifestyles except social aspiration lifestyles had a positive influence upon external attributes, whereas internal or external attributes had positive influence on customer satisfaction. Conclusions - The consumers who experienced wine purchases think wine selection attributes differ before and after experiencing wine drinking, and it shows that the circumstantial variables as purchase situations prove to be important predicted variables in the behavior field of wine consumers. It implies appropriate wine education according to the consuming trend about wine for wine consumers are needed.
This research was to investigate the consumers' perception and purchase behavior of Korean rice cake as a meal. The rate of consumers who had eaten rice cake as a meal was 64.7% and that of those who had not was 35.3%.. For breakfast, 49.83% of them ate rice cake and for lunch 21.2% of them did. Reasons for eating rice cake for meal were investigated on 'easy to eat(63.21%), 'the others(13.0%)', 'good taste (12.3%)' and 'healthy food(10.8%)'. Reasons for not eating rice cake for meal were researched on 'snack(40.09%), 'difficult storage(21.9%)' and 'expensive(9.7%)'. After purchasing or making rice cake, 45.4% of consumers ate immediately and 30.9% of them ate within $1{\sim}2\;days$. In thawing methods of frozen rice cake as a meal, 51.3% of consumers used a microwave. Kinds of beverage with which rice cake was eaten were water(35.3%), coffee(14.9%), milk(13.8%) and Kimchi(dongchimi, 13.8%). The complementary points for purchase of rice cake as a meal were 'Small package(23.2%)', 'Good preference'(20.5%), 'Healthy food(15.0%)', 'Affordable price(12.7%)' and 'Low calorie(9.5%). Kinds of rice cake as a meal were Injeolmi(16.0%), Backsulgi(15.4%), Yaksik(9.3%) and Galaetteok(9.0%).

This study intends to ascertain the importance of store atmosphere when construcing store marketing strategies for store differentiation. And it is studied by classifying consumer groups according to clothing shopping motivations, comparing store atmosphere assessment and emotion response of preferred stores, and analyzing the influence store atmosphere has on store preference or impulsive purchase. The subject of this study are women in their twenties living in Seoul, 255 career women and 233 college students totaling 458, and model sampling is done by convenient sampling taking into account the type of their occupation and major. Modified survey based on references and former studies is used, and using SAS packages, methods. The results of data analysis are as follows. 1. Consumer groups are classified into the following four subdivisions: shopping involvement, leisure pursuit, financial, and shopping unconcern group. The stores women in twenties use most frequently for shopping are department stores, speciality stores, common market, discount stores, and wholesale markets, and significant difference are shown between consumer groups. 2. Consumer responses for store atmosphere preferences are shown significantly among groups when concerned with store preferences. 3. Images of store atmosphere as factor analyzed into environment factor, kindness factor, and decoration factor, Environment factor is most highly estimated in speciality stores, kindness factor in department stores, and decoration factor in common markets. 4. Leisure pursuit group is assessed to be most influenced by store atmosphere in store seleciton, impulsive purchase, and after-purchase shopping behavior, and impulsive purchase is shown highly in department stores and speciality stores.
Purpose: The purpose of this research paper is to explore what factors that affect customer purchase decisions in the online environment, particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic in the case of Vietnamese customers. Research Design, Data and Methodology: To clarify which factor has the most significant impacts on online purchasing decision-making process, this study proposed a research model including factors such as customer trust, proposensity to trust, system assurance, the quality of website design, attitude, and customer satisfaction. This study collected the data via online survey. Data analysis was conducted by AMOS 25.0 using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. Result: The results of this study shows that the purchase decisions were positively affected by customers' attitude, satisfaction, trust, and the quality of websites design. Additionally, factors such as perceived size and reputation and system assurance, have impacts on buyers' trust, while the propensity to trust has no significant impact. Conclusion: This study provides managerial implications. The results provide which factors should be improved to foster trust, attitude, customer satisfaction, and purchase decision in the online environment. The results also provide managerial implication on marketing strategies how to enhance better relationships with customers and to consider environmental issues in the era of post COVID-19.
The purpose of this study is to find out the consumer's purchasing behavior and its factors when a convenience store brand is marketing new PB products online. For this study, we surveyed 2030 millennials about the purchase behavior of convenience store PB products and the paths to encounter PB products. As a result, consumers who purchase convenience store PB products were exposed to the product through SNS or YouTube, and they tended to join the trend by posting on SNS after purchase. In this study, we want to examine the consumption trends of millennials that have this type of consumption and the concept of online marketing that affects them. It is hoped that future consumer purchases will continue to be valuable consumption rather than relying on trends.
While online shopping has been increased expeditiously, a significant portion of purchasing intention has not been converted into actual purchasing behavior without delay in online space. This study investigates the factors causing a delay in online purchasing decision even after purchasing intention has been formed. It identifies the uncertainty variables (information, psychological, and preference uncertainties) related to consumer needs and the situational variables (time pressure and past purchase experience) surrounding the purchasing transaction. Furthermore, the need for cognitive closure is proposed to moderate the relationships between uncertainty/situational variables and the purchasing behavior. The results show that the uncertainties and situational factors significantly influence purchasing delay. Also, the need for cognitive closure indeed works as a moderator between the uncertainty variables and the purchasing behavior. Practical and academic implications of these findings are also discussed.
Purpose - This paper is aimed to analyze the effects of the mandatory closing regulation targeting large retailers, which has been implemented since 2012 to protect small retailers. We examine the changes in consumers' choice of retailers and their purchasing patterns of agri-food following the implementation of such regulation. Research design, data, and methodology - Household spending patterns were identified through the historical data of household food purchase, consumer panel provided by the Rural Development Administration. Clustering was employed to determine the household spending patterns. Moreover, the different household spending patterns before and after the regulation were comparatively studied. The patterns of consumers' choice of retail stores and shopping baskets by the type of retailers, derived from the respective datasets before and after the regulation, were compared to analyze the effects of the regulation. Results -After the regulation, some consumers who used to shop at large retailers before the regulation changed their shopping places to small retailers. However, the product categories that consumers had mainly purchased before the regulation were rarely changed even after the regulation. Conclusions - Although the regulation helped migrate some of the consumers to small retailers, the regulation seemed to have failed to stimulate consumers to purchase the goods, normally bought at large retailers, from traditional markets. In other words, traditional markets are not effective substitutes for regulation-affected retailers.

As electronic word of mouth plays an important role in purchase behavior among consumers, the number of studies on the impact of electronic word of mouth is rapidly increasing. Nevertheless, it is difficult to discover comparative studies on the mass media which had a great impact on consumer's purchase behavior before the impact of electronic word of mouth becomes greater versus the social media where electronic words of mouth are created and distributed. It is considered that it seems to be necessary to find an appropriate mutual supplement point between the media designed for a successful marketing by comparing and analyzing the existing mass media versus the social media, major media for electronic word of mouth. Therefore, this study aims to compare and analyze the impact of comments on movie revenue in the representative forms of mass media such as online news and social media blogs. In particular, this study also considers an appropriate media for promoting movies by period by comparing and analyzing the two media before and after film release. For analysis, this study collects the information on the number of comments on online news and blogs in 70 Korean movies released in 2011 and 2012 from five weeks before film release to eight weeks after film release on a daily basis via Naver. This study also collects the information on the movie revenue using the statistical data of movie industry from Korean Film Commission. As a result of empirical data analysis, it is found that the two media showed no difference in movie revenue before film release, but after film release, the impact of blogs was more significant than that of online news.
Purpose Product characteristics and price value in website have strongly effects on customer satisfaction. Especially, in the online shopping site, the scarcity limits the customer's opportunity to purchase the product. Thus scarcity has been proposed as a important factor that makes the customer highly aware of the merchantability of the product. The scarcity in the web store is used as an important variable to make purchasing decisions of users easier by psychological pressure. In the case of scarce products with price discounts in online commerce, advertising formats that highlight scarcity value in the web commerce market are very effective in enhancing purchase intentions of consumers. Unlike offline stores, the importance of scarcity becomes more important when reflecting the characteristics of online commerce. Therefore, this study intends to confirm the influence of the degree of price discounts and scarcity information presented by Web sites on consumer purchase behavior in Web purchase behavior. Design/methodology/approach This study conducted a web-based experimental study on price sensitivity and price discount. Therefore, we created experimental web-sites that offer two stimuli according to the discount rate. The 200 respondents were randomly assigned. The stimuli were fictitious based on tourism products. The first stimulus presented the price discount(15% discount) with basic explanation about the package of the tourist package. The stimuli assigned to the second group were used for groups with high price discount intensity(65% discount). In this way, the two stimuli clearly distinguished the level of price discount intensity. This paper conducted t-test analysis and structural equation to analyze the experiemental results after confirming the reliability and validity. Findings The results of this study are as follows. The difference in price discount intensity (15% vs 65%) with scarcity showed the mean difference among all the variables. Therefore, this study concluded that there is a significant difference between the price discount of 15% and 65% for the acquisition value and transaction value of users. In particular, consumers' purchase intention is greater and product recommendation intensity is stronger when the price discount is 65%. As a result, the high degree of the price discount intensity with scarcity exerts a greater influence on consumers' purchase intentions. Product scarcity also have a significant impact on perceived value of users. Therefore, purchase intention of customers increases when perceived value increases their profit and pleasure feeling.
To pursue youth and agelessness can be regarded as a global trend today. The younger a woman recognizes herself to be, the more sensation seeking tendency and the more active fashion exploratory behavior of younger generation she would show. This study attempted to empirically examine the relationship between sensation seeking behavior and fashion exploratory behavior according to the difference age in women in their 30's to 50s'. After the survey, a total of 480 questionnaires was used for data analysis. The results of this study are as follows, 1. It was found that there was a very high correlation among cognitive ages, and the lower cognitive age a woman had, the higher difference age she showed. 2. Sensation seeking tendency of adult women was shown in two factors of change seeking and artistic sensation seeking, and these factors accounted for 73.99% of the total variances. Fashion exploratory behavior had 4 factors such as fashion leadership, behavior of hedonic shopping, behavior of clothing communication and behavior of clothing purchase with taking a risk, and these four factors accounted for 75.87% of the total variances. 3. The higher difference age and the higher tendency of sensation seeking an adult woman had, the higher fashion exploratory behavior was shown, and the higher the difference age, the higher tendency of change seeking and artistic sensation seeking.
