Line Type 디지털 항공사진측량 카메라 영상의 컴퓨터비전 해석을 통한 고품질 공간정보 생성 (Generation of High Quality Geospatial Information Using Computer Vision Analysis of Line Type Digital Aerial Photogrammetry Camera Imagery)

  • 우리나라의 국토지리정보원에서는 2년 주기로 정사영상 제작과 수치지도 수정/갱신 등을 위해 디지털 항공사진영상을 촬영하고 있다. 이러한 디지털 항공사진영상을 촬영하기 위한 항공사진측량용 카메라는 면형(Frame type) 및 선형(Line type)으로 구분된다. 항공사진영상의 컴퓨터비전 해석은 Frame type만 가능하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 Line type 항공사진영상을 컴퓨터비전 해석으로 공간정보를 생성하고자 하였으며, 항공사진영상의 활용 방안으로 산림공간정보를 생성하고자 하였다. 그 결과 Line type 항공사진영상의 컴퓨터비전 해석으로 생성된 공간정보는 수평위치 및 수직위치 오차의 RMSE가 GSD의 4배 이내로 나타났다. 컴퓨터비전 해석으로 생성된 공간정보를 이용해 산림공간정보를 생성하였으며, 이를 이용해 수관형상의 추출, 수고의 산정이 가능함을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 항공사진영상 활용성을 제고할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

산불 공중진화 방화선 구축형태 및 진화방법에 관한 연구 (Study of Aerial Fire Line Construction and Suppression Method on Forest Fire)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라의 각종 소.중형 및 대형 산불의 공중진화 경험을 바탕으로 산불행태와 헬기의 현장운영을 고려한 산불 공중진화 방화선 구축형태 및 진화방법에 대하여 제안하였다. 산불확산은 현장의 지세, 경사, 바람, 수종 등에 영향을 받으므로 공중진화 방화선을 구축할 때에는 연소방향 및 형태, 강도 등을 분석한 후 진화작업을 실시하여야 하며, 특히 연기로 인하여 시계가 방해 받으므로 안전을 고려해 진화작업을 하는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 산불현장 공중진화 경험을 바탕으로 A형에서 M형까지 13개의 산불 공중진화 방화선 구축형태 및 진화방법을 제안하였다.

수치지적도화를 위한 항공사진측량의 정확도 분석 (Accuracy Analysis of Aerial Photogrammetry for Digital Cadastral Map)

  • Recently, many studies have been conducted to utilize the digital aerial photogrammetry method in the field of cadastral surveying. The representative models of digital cameras currently used for aerial photogrammetry are classified into line-type and convex-type cameras, so the representative models were selected and analyzed. The purpose of this study was to analyze whether the accuracy suggested by the cadastral survey enforcement rules was satisfied by comparing the orthogonal and ortho image performance. As a result, there were some representative false points that exceeded the acceptable range, but the results extracted from most of the images were shown to satisfy the acceptable range. Therefore, it can be said that the application of digital aerial photogrammetry to the cadastral field in the technical aspect has sufficient potential.

세포외 Adenosine Deaminase를 생산하는 방선균의 분리 (Isolation of Actinomycetes Producing Extracellular Adenosin Deaminase)

  • 토양으로부터 세포의 adcnosinedeaminase를 생산하는 두종의 방선균 J-845S주와 J-326TK 주름 분리하여 각각 Streptomycs sp. J-845S와 Nocardioides sp. J326TK로 동정하였다. Streptomyces sp. J-845S는 그람염색 양성, 비항산성균으로 기균사의 흰색계열의 간상형의 비운동성의 포자를 형성하였으며, 포자의 표면은 평할하였고 나선상의 포자연쇄를 형성하였다. 균사체의 분자는 양호하였다. 세포벽 구성성분을 분석한 결과 LL-diaminopimelic acid를 함유하는 cell wall type I 이었으며, phospholipid type II였다. Nocardioides sp. J-326TK는 그람염색반응 양성, 항산성염색반응 음성이었으며, 균사체는 불규칙한 간상 또는 구사으이 절편으로 분절되었다. 기균사의 분자는 그다지 인정되지 않았으며, 포자형태의 긴 elements의 표면은 평할하였다. 세포벽 구성성분을 검토한 결과 cell wall type I과 phospholipid type I으로나타났다.

Novel Roaming and Stationary Tethered Aerial Robots for Continuous Mobile Missions in Nuclear Power Plants

  • In this paper, new tethered aerial robots including roaming tethered aerial robots (RTARs) for radioactive material sampling and stationary tethered aerial robots (STARs) for environment monitoring are proposed to meet extremely-long-endurance missions of nuclear power plants. The flight of the proposed tethered aerial robots may last for a few days or even a few months as long as the tethered cable provides continuous power. A high voltage AC or DC power system was newly adopted to reduce the mass of the tethered cable. The RTAR uses a tethered cable spooled from the aerial robot and an aerial tension control system. The aerial tension control system provides the appropriate tension to the tethered cable, which is accordingly laid down on the ground as the RTAR roams. The STAR includes a tethered cable spooled from the ground and a ground tension control system, which enables the STAR to reach high altitudes. Prototypes of the RTAR and STAR were designed and successfully demonstrated in outdoor environments, where the load power, power type, operating frequency, and flight attitude of the RTAR and STAR were: 180 W, AC 100 kHz, and 20 m; and 300 W, AC or DC 100 kHz, and 80 m, respectively.

Building Extraction from Lidar Data and Aerial Imagery using Domain Knowledge about Building Structures

  • Traditionally, aerial images have been used as main sources for compiling topographic maps. In recent years, lidar data has been exploited as another type of mapping data. Regarding their performances, aerial imagery has the ability to delineate object boundaries but omits much of these boundaries during feature extraction. Lidar provides direct information about heights of object surfaces but have limitations with respect to boundary localization. Considering the characteristics of the sensors, this paper proposes an approach to extracting buildings from lidar and aerial imagery, which is based on the complementary characteristics of optical and range sensors. For detecting building regions, relationships among elevation contours are represented into directional graphs and searched for the contours corresponding to external boundaries of buildings. For generating building models, a wing model is proposed to assemble roof surface patches into a complete building model. Then, building models are projected and checked with features in aerial images. Experimental results show that the proposed approach provides an efficient and accurate way to extract building models.

Adaptation of the parameters of the physical layer of data transmission in self-organizing networks based on unmanned aerial vehicles

  • The article discusses the features of adaptation of the parameters of the physical layer of data transmission in self-organizing networks based on unmanned aerial vehicles operating in the conditions of "smart cities". The concept of cities of this type is defined, the historical path of formation, the current state and prospects for further development in the aspect of transition to "smart cities" of the third generation are shown. Cities of this type are aimed at providing more comfortable and safe living conditions for citizens and autonomous automated work of all components of the urban economy. The perspective of the development of urban mobile automated technical means of infocommunications is shown, one of the leading directions of which is the creation and active use of wireless self-organizing networks based on unmanned aerial vehicles. The advantages of using small-sized unmanned aerial vehicles for organizing networks of this type are considered, as well as the range of tasks to be solved in the conditions of modern "smart cities". It is shown that for the transition to self-organizing networks in the conditions of "smart cities" of the third generation, it is necessary to ensure the adaptation of various levels of OSI network models to dynamically changing operating conditions, which is especially important for the physical layer. To maintain an acceptable level of the value of the bit error probability when transmitting command and telemetry data, it is proposed to adaptively change the coding rate depending on the signal-to-noise ratio at the receiver input (or on the number of channel decoder errors), and when transmitting payload data, it is also proposed to adaptively change the coding rate together with the choice of modulation methods that differ in energy and spectral efficiency. As options for the practical implementation of these solutions, it is proposed to use an approach based on the principles of neuro-fuzzy control, for which examples of determining the boundaries of theoretically achievable efficiency are given.

  • As the use of unmanned aerial vehicles increases, in order to expand the operability of the unmanned aerial vehicle, it is essential to develop an unmanned aerial vehicle traffic management system, and to establish the system, it is necessary to analyze the integrated navigation performance of the unmanned aerial vehicle to be operated. Integrated navigation performance is affected by various factors such as the type of unmanned aerial vehicle, flight environment, and guidance law algorithm. In addition, since a large amount of flight data is required to obtain high-reliability analysis results, efficient and consistent flight scenarios are required. In this paper, a flight scenario that satisfies the requirements for integrated navigation performance analysis of rotary and fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles was designed and verified through flight experiments.

고정익 항공기 공중급유 유형 및 Boom-Receptacle 시스템 비행시험 평가 방안 연구 (A Research on Aerial Refueling Type and Flight Testing of Boom-Receptacle Systems for a Fixed-wing Aircraft)

  • 공중급유 능력은 항공기의 임무시간 증대와 운용영역 확장을 제공함에 따라 많은 군용기에 적용 및 운영되어왔다. 피급유기가 지정된 급유기로부터 공중급유를 받기 위해서는 기술 및 운용호환성평가를 통해 공중급유허용을 확보해야 한다. 적합성 평가에는 공중급유 조종성, 기능성, 연료, 조명시스템 평가를 포함하고 있으며 비행시험을 통해 최종 검증된다. 그러나 한국에서는 신규개발항공기에 대한 공중급유 적합성 평가를 수행한 사례가 없기 때문에 시험 요구도, 범위 및 프로그램 규모를 결정하기 위한 경험이 없는 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 공중급유 유형 소개와 한국 공군에 도입된 Boom & Receptacle 시스템에 대한 고정익 항공기 공중급유 FCS (Flight Control System) OFP (operational flight program) 검증, 시스템 검증 및 영역 허용 관련 공중급유 비행시험 방법을 연구하였다.
