  • The operation rules to remarshaling works in yard is very important in automated container terminal (ACT). However, the decision rules for conventional container terminals have some restrictions to be applied to ACT whose block layout Is vortical for berth. The objective of this study is to propose the efficient operations rules for remarshaling works of automated transfer crane (ATC) in ACTs. Then, the various operation rules are simulated to verify the proposed operation rules. The results of the simulation study on various rules are provided and discussed.

  • The anti-inflammatory mechanism of daidzein was investigated in rats and mice. Daidzein and 4'-methyldaidzein inhibited capillary permeability and lipid peroxidation. Daidzein inhibited growth of granuloma when it was administered into the carrageenin pouch at the low dose, while it acted contrarily at the high dose. Daidzein decreased the antiinflammatory effect in adrenalectomized rat, depleted ascorbic acid and cholesterol contents in adrenals, and increased corticosterone level in plasma, suggesting dadzein acts on the hypophysisadrenal system.

  • Objective quality measurement schemes that in- corporate properties of the human auditory system. The basilar membrane(BM) acts as a spectrum analyzer, spatially decomposing the signal into frequency components. Each filterbank is an implementation of the ERB, gam-machirp function. This filterbank is level-dependent asymmetric compensation filters. And for the validation of the auditory model, we calculate the CPD. Quality measurement is obtained from the result.

  • N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylethylenediamine (TMEDA) acts as a simple, mild and efficient catalyst for the acylation of alcohols, phenols and thiols at room temperature under solvent-free condition. Acylation reaction with acetic anhydride and benzoic anhydride proceeds with good to excellent yield in the presence of TMEDA as the catalyst.

  • In this paper we introduce a compensation of nonlinearity Heterodyne laser interferometer. The Laser Interferometer is used for length measurement in various industries. However, it has nonlinearity error caused by the imperfect optical equipment. This acts as an obstacle in the measurement improvement. We propose an adaptive error compensation using least mean square(LMS) to improve precision.

  • Reaction between 2-pyridinecarboxylic acid (Hpic) and $K_3[Cr(O_2)_4]$ give complex $[Cr(pic)_3].H_2O$ (1) which is characterized by elemental analysis and spectroscopic methods (FT-IR, Raman) and X-ray crystallography. In the crystal structure of 1, chromium atom with coordinated by three nitrogen and three oxygen atoms has a distorted octahedral geometry. Also a water molecule is incorporated in crystal network. Each water molecule acts as hydrogen bond bridging and connects two adjacent complexes by two $O-H{\cdots}O$ hydrogen bonds.

  • Many Policies were made to increase women's employment since the latter half of the 1980s in Korean. But work-family conflict of married women can not be solved without reducing the household work load, because all of Korean wives have the responsibilities of household work. So this study aims to establish the supporting system of household work in the women's policies. For this purpose this study examine the actual conditions for supporting the household work. And supporting system and strategies for policy making related to household work and suggested. Supporting system includes arrangement in household raise in social consciousness improvement of market circumstance establishment of relating acts and public facilities.

  • This paper proposes a new PWM cycloconverter which can step up input voltage. With input reactors ac power supply acts as current source, and with output capacitors the balanced output voltage is build-up. The converter is modeled with fourth order state equation using dq transformation and the steady state characteristics are evaluated. It is shown that the proposed converter can generate the output voltage 2-5 times greater than input voltage. The output voltage and input current have sinusoidal and smooth waveforms and the converter is capable of voltage build-up. The characteristics of the proposed converter is verified simulation and experiment.

  • Suspension effect has been studied by using superconductor of BiPbSrCaCuO ceramics containing Ag$_2$O It has been cleared that Ag$_2$O acts as pinning center which plays an important role to the suspension effect. Magnetic repulsive force which affects a superconductor located in magnetic flux from toroidal magnet has been investigated. It has been concluded that the suspension effect arises from the interaction between the pinning effect and the diamagnetic effect.

  • We show that if M is a $II_1$-factor and a countable discrete group G acts outerly on M then Jones' index $[M:M^G]$ of a pair of $II_1^-factors is equal to the order $\mid$G$\mid$ of G. It is also shown that for a subgroup H of G Jones' index $[M^H:M^G]$ is equal to the group index [G:H] under certain conditions.
