대학도서관 학술정보서비스의 미래 예측을 위한 시나리오기법의 적용 (Future Scenarios of Scholarly Information Services in Academic Libraries)

  • 정보기술 발전의 영향으로 대학도서관 정보서비스는 변화하여왔다. 본 연구는 모바일 커뮤니케이션과 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅으로 대표되는 미래 정보 환경에서의 학술정보유통과 대학도서관 학술정보서비스를 예측하여 대비하기 위한 기초를 마련하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 미래 연구 방법 가운데 하나인 시나리오 기법을 도입하여 미래 학술정보유통 환경의 변화의 주요 동인을 파악하고, 각각의 가능성과 대안적 상황들을 정리한 후, 각 환경 속에서 출판사, 대학도서관, 이용자 세 집단의 정보서비스 관련 행위들을 예측하였다.

대학도서관 서비스 품질의 측정 (Measuring Service Quality in Academic Libraries)

  • The purpose of this research is to evaluate the service quality measure and service quality level between one sample library and the other. Most typically, service quality is defined in terms of reducing the gap between customer expectations and the actual service provided. This research also focuses on gap reduction. Service quality concept was originally discussed in a commercial environment and may require some adaptation to the non-commercial environment of the academic library. A revised service quality measure that developed by P. J. Calvert and P. Hernon(1996) was used for this research. Results showed that service quality measure of this research was reliable(99 service quality items scale's Cronbach Alpha coefficient was 0.983) and was validated by correlation and factor analysis. Therefore service quality measure of this research will be applied positively for academic libraries. And this research showed that the service quality level of sample academic library was inferior to that of the others. The service quality of sample academic library should be improved to meet the customer's needs and expectations immediately.

학업성취도에 대한 대입전형 요인들의 영향력 분석 (The influence analysis of admission variables on academic achievements)

  • 본 논문에서는 부산 소재 K 대학교 신입생들의 학업성취도에 대해 신입생의 특성변수를 포함한 전형관련 변수들에 대한 영향력 분석을 연구한다. 이를 위해 모수적인 방법인 다중회귀분석과 비모수적인 방법인 의사결정나무 분석을 통하여 학업성취도에 대한 전형관련 변수들에 대한 주효과와 상호 작용효과를 각각 분석하였다.

쇼핑연구 고찰: 학술영역 이해를 통한 쇼핑이론의 기초적 접근 (Research in Shopping: Review of Academic Disciplines for a Shopping Theory)

  • As a very first step for theorizing shopping, this study attempted to diagnose the current of shopping research. Using the keyword of shopping from major academic databases in Korea, the study collected 560 research articles and analyzed patterns of: 1) research by year, journal, and academic area; 2) researchers by academic area; 3) keywords; and 4) research contents. Analyses showed that two thirds of articles in shopping were published after 2000. While the number of journals was the highest in business and engineering, the numbers of articles and researchers were the highest in business and apparel. The most frequently used included internet shopping mall, internet shopping, and shopping orientation. About 66% of shopping research was internet shopping related, and 80% was empirical study using individual consumers. Though shopping was studied as an individual consumer behavior, there were noticeable patterns in research contents by academic field. The study discussed such patterns and provided implications for multidisciplinary approaches for shopping theory and research.

  • This paper discusses the 'identity' issue of academic libraries and librarians in South Korea. With the rapid social changes, both academic libraries and librarians in South Korea are confronted with a crisis for survival. This paper criticizes the two main social ideology led to such a crisis : namely, the extreme forms of capitalism and technological determinism. To overcome the present crisis, this paper recommends the academic libraries to recover or reform their identity as a cultural, expecially, knowledge organization, not just as an information agency. Also recommended for academic librarians is to make their best effort to be a real professional with the required knowledge and experience.

한국의 대학도서관 조직개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Organizational Development of the Academic libraries in Korea)

  • 이 연구는 한국 대학도서관의 서비스를 향상하고 조직문화의 활성화를 도모하기 위하여 대학도서관 조직개발 전략을 모색하였다. 이를 위해 문헌적 연구를 통하여 조직개발 이론과 대학도서관 조직 관련 연구들을 간략히 살펴보고, 대학도서관에서의 조직개발에 대하여 고찰하였다. 이 연구는 국내 대학도서관의 조직개발 전략으로 팀제의 안착, 지식경영과 학습조직문화의 개발, 전략적 계획의 수립을 제시하였다.

치위생과 학생의 자아존중감과 학습동기의 관계에 대한 우울의 매개효과 (The mediation effect of depression between self-esteem and academic motivation in dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of self-esteem on academic motivation, and the mediating effect of depression in dental hygiene students. Methods : A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 401 dental hygiene students for 2 weeks in June, 2014 in Ulsan and Daegu. The data were analyzed by a descriptive analyses, Pearson correlation, multiple regression analysis and Sobel test. Results : Self-esteem had a significant influence on academic motivation and self-esteem had a significant influence on depression in the dental hygiene students. Conclusions : Depression had a partial mediation effect on the self-esteem and academic motivation.

대학도서관 사서직의 직무만족에 관한 연구 -전북지역 4년제 대학도서관을 중심으로 - (A Study on Job Satisfaction for Academic Librarians)

  • 직무만족은 개인생활에서는 신체적인 건강은 물론 정신적인 건강에도 좋은 영향을 끼치며 조직에서는 생산성 향상과 직무성과에도 많은 영향을 끼친다. 따라서 이 연구는 우리나라 대학도서관에 근무하고 있는 사서의 직무만족 수준을 조사하여 도서관장이나 대학당국 더 나아가서는 정부당국이 대학도서관 사서에 대한 욕구를 이해하도록 하고, 직무만족 향상에 노력함으로써 그 성과로서 대학도서관 인사정책 수립과 대학도서관 발전에 도움이 되고자 함이다.

A Study of Academic Achievement and Core Competence according to University Admission Types in Nursing Students

  • In this paper, we propose to investigate the differences of academic achievement and core competence according to university admission types. Research subjects were 159 nursing students in G city. The tool used in this study was Collegiate Students Essential Skills Assessment developed by the KW University. The 6 areas measured with the tool are: humanities, Humanism, self-directedness, creative competence, practice competence and global competence. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, ANOVA, Scheffe' test and pearson's correlation coefficient using SPSS WIN 18.0 Program. There were significant differences in core competence according to university admission types. But There were significant differences in academic achievement according to university admission types. And significant positive correlation between academic achievement and core competece was not founded. But significant positive correlation of 6 core competencies were founded. Based on the result of this study, it is possible to serve basic data for establishing better university admission type.

전문대학 공학계열 학생의 기초학습능력 수준에 따른 학업성취도 결과 사례연구: I 전문대학 사례를 중심으로 (A Case Study of the Scholastic Achievement Grades Results for Junior College Students of Engineering Department according to the Basic Academic Skills: Based on the Case Study of I Junior College)

  • The influences of the basic academic skills to the scholastic achievement grades has been researched and we made a test of the basic academic skills(Korean language, mathematic, foreign language) to the students of engineering department in I college in Seoul and analyzed the correlation between the basic academic skills and the scholastic achievement grades. Results show that the scholastic achievement grades has a correlation(r=.456, p<0.01) to the average grade of the basic academic skill test. High level students of the scholastic achievement grades have a correlation(r=.292, p<0.01) to the mathematical department and the others have a correlation(r=.232, p<0.05 and r=.279, p<0.01) to the Korean linguistic department. The results of this study through multiple regression analysis indicate that the scholastic achievement has a relation on Korean language skill. As a result, It is recommendable that the mathematical basic academic skill programs are suggested to the high-level students of the scholastic achievement grades and the linguistic basic academic skill programs to the others. Also, the required basic linguistic subject is needed to the low-level students of the basic academic skills and in this paper, we propose the test and management system for the basic campus-life skills including the basic academic skills and the basic major skills.
