  • The development of AI technology has brought about a big change in our lives. The importance of AI and data education is also growing as AI's influence from life to society to the economy grows. In response, the OECD Education Research Report and various domestic information and curriculum studies deal with data literacy and present it as an essential competency. However, the definition of data literacy and the content and scope of the components vary among researchers. Thus, we analyze the semantic similarity of words through Word2Vec deep learning natural language processing methods along with the definitions of key data literacy studies and analysis of word frequency utilized in components, to present objective and comprehensive definition and components. It was revised and supplemented by expert review, and we defined data literacy as the 'basic ability of knowledge construction and communication to collect, analyze, and use data and process it as information for problem solving'. Furthermore we propose the components of each category of knowledge, skills, values and attitudes. We hope that the definition and components of data literacy derived from this study will serve as a good foundation for the systematization and education research of AI education related to students' future competency.

  • Risk assessment and analysis for a medium-to-small sized chemical plant that manufactures a polyester resin by the process of batch-type condensation reaction was conducted using K-PSR technique which is one of the risk assessment methods used to implement the Process Safety Management System (PSM). K-PSR is a risk assessment technique developed by KOSHA to compensate for difficulties caused by the lack of infrastructure of medium-to-small sized chemical plants in the re-evaluation. To apply the K-PSR technique, the entire process of a selected chemical palnt was classified in two review sections, i.e., the condensation reaction process and the dilution/filtration process, and the potential risks of the process about these review sections were identified and classified based on the four guide-words (release, fire.explosion, process trouble, and injury). As the results of the research, refer to recommend of risk rating has been confirmed that non-destructive testing of old facilities and the preparation of LOTO procedures for the electrical equipments are necessary as specific measures to prevent the risk of release and fire.explosion. It was also shown that pressure gauges and thermometers should be installed on the hot-oil supply piping to minimize the process trouble, and exhausting hood should be installed to prevent potential injury.

  • This study, from a critical view on knowledge-centered science education, aims to explore the wisdom that can be acquired from science. In other words, to find the categories and examples of "Wisdom of Science(WOS)" that can be shared in science classroom is the purpose of this study. For the data collection, twelve hours of physics classes of three high schools were observed, together with teacher interviews and student interviews. Collected data were analyzed qualitatively based on the operational definition of WOS. In this study, WOS was defined in a limited sense to mean 'wise action such as behaviors, attitudes, methods, and thoughts that can be found in the process of formation and application of scientific knowledge'. The results of this study, i.e. three categories and six examples of WOS, can be summarized as follows. First category of WOS is 'wisdom as a scientific attitude'. The examples of this category are 'rational suspicion and open-minded attitude', and 'effort to find the best way in given situation'. Second category of WOS is 'wisdom as a method for problem solving'. The examples of this category are 'thinking with changing the conditions', and 'communication using the language of science'. Third category of WOS is 'wisdom as a reflection about science and human'. The examples of this category are 'understanding of the relationship between science and society', and 'perceiving the relationship between science and my life'. In conclusion, "Wisdom-oriented Science Education" as an alternative goal of future science education is suggested with its meanings and implications.

  • The crops cultivated and consumed in Korea require specific climate conditions corresponding to their own growth characteristics. This study aims to analyze the relationship between climate change and agricultural productivity. According to growing concern about climate change internationally, many agricultural studies are developing technology to prevent damage from climate change. Before developing technology, we should figure out what kind of crop gets huge damage and how much caused by climate change. In the context of agricultural economics, we can define the reduction of agricultural product yield as a decline in productivity. As a result, this study analyzes the effects of climate change on agricultural productivity using Stochastic Frontier Analysis model. There are several kinds of climate change phenomena that increase the inefficiency of production. In other words, there are several kinds of crops that get negative influence by climate change. The result of this study can be used as basic guideline for producers to prepare for changing weather prior to developing disaster tolerance technology coping actively with special weather report.

  • Based on the scan conditions and algorithms that are generally applied during examinations during head CT examinations, the results of dose reduction through the application of algorithm changes were investigated through experiments. As a result, the dose reduction effect was more meaningful for the change of perfusion than for the tube voltage, and the quality evaluation using the brain phantom was relatively less reduced when the dose was reduced after the application of the Bone algorithm, especially for the application of the Bone algorithm, and the deviation of the mean CT number or Pixel value was measured relatively significantly. In other words, the conditions under which dose was reduced and quality was maintained to reduce the patient's exposure dose and obtain images of the same quality were obtained with the application of the Smooth algorithm and the resulting values of 120 kVp, 160 mA. At this point, doses were reduced by about 28%, and the mean CT number or Pixel value was also measured with relatively little error. If the results are applied to patients who visit the hospital for examination or follow-up after applying various algorithms and follow up scan conditions, the results are considered to be very useful in reducing patient exposure dose.

  • The Korean Astronomical Society (KAS) Education & Public Outreach Committee has provided education services for children and school teachers in Cambodia over the past three years from 2016 to 2018. In the first year, 2016, one KAS member visited Pusat to teach astronomy to about 50 children, and in the following two years of 2017 and 2018, three and six KAS members, respectively, executed education workshops for ~ 20 (per each year) local school teachers in Sisophon. It turned out that it is desirable to include both teaching of astronomical knowledge and making experiments and observations in the education in order for the program to be more effective. Language barrier was the main obstacle in conveying concepts and knowledge, and having a good interpreter was very important. It happens that some languages, such as the Khmer of Cambodia, do not have astronomical terminologies, so that lecturers and even the education participants together are needed to communicate and create appropriate words. Handout hard-copies of the education materials (presentation files, lecture/experiment summaries, terminologies, etc.) are extremely helpful for the participants. Actual performing of assembling and using astronomical telescopes for night sky observations has been lifetime experience for some of the participants, which might promote zeal for knowledge and education. It is hoped that these education services for developing countries like Cambodia can be regularly continued in the future, and further extended to other countries such as Laos and Myanmar.

  • This study aimed to provide basic data on health promotion programs to prevent cardiocerebrovascular Disease by identifying knowledge, attitude and self-efficacy. Data were collected from 198 middle-aged adults in S-city. The data analysis was analyzed with technical statistics and t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient. There were significant differences in knowledge depending on the age, education level, monthly income and there were significant differences in attitude depending on the education level and monthly income. There were also significant differences in self-efficacy between gender. The correlation analysis also showed a significant correlation between knowledge of cardiovascular disease and attitudes toward prevention(t=.45, p<.001). In other words, the higher your knowledge of cardiovascular disease, the more positive you are about preventing it. Therefore, it is necessary to develop education and mediation programs that can form a positive attitude toward preventing cardiocerebrovascular disease and to develop programs that enhance the self-efficacy of middle-aged men.

  • This study presented the role of the counselor's transitional object through literature research, focusing on Winnicott's theory. In the process of development, infants experience anxiety when they move from absolute dependence to relative dependence with their mother. In this way, the counselor's role as an transitional object buffers separation anxiety and depressive anxiety about the loss experience, and mediates from the omnipotent fantasy to the real world. transitional objects are new objects and have a function of contributing to adaptation in reality. And it leads to the stage of separation and individualization through transitional object and transitional phenomena. It can be said that he acquires a sense of the real other that exists in order to create and destroy omnipotent, and to adapt to reality. A good enough mother makes the child's omnipotence meaningful. In this case, the true self helps the infant's weak self to grow and lead him to live his own life. When the mother fails to satisfy the infant's needs, her fantasies and spontaneous impulses are lacking. In other words, when the mother fails to reflect the infant's needs, the infant looks at her mother's mood, giving up her true self and creating a false self. The pathology of the absolute dependence phase is caused by the failure of a good enough mother's empathy and nurturing environment. At this time, the child experiences the collapse of the omnipotence illusion and experiences annihilation anxiety. Therefore, effective counseling can be carried out when providing a comfortable and stable environment by reducing separation anxiety and depressive anxiety of clients through the role of the counselor's transitional object in the counseling field.

  • The purpose of this paper is as follows: The book, , which Yi Yang-o read, is to find out what kind of series it was. Second, I will examine the way of expressing the preface that I wrote after and try to analyze the part where Lee Yang-ho took interest in . Lee Yang-o was more concerned about the soft-handedness and the eavesdropping than the person named Sasu and Kyo. It can be understood in connection with the social problems of the 18th century and the situation of Lee Yang-ho. In other words, there was a great interest in the reality, the torture of the reins of war wanted the world to live, and the was a work that reminds us of the torture of reeling. I was able to find out that Lee Yang-o was involved with the problem of reality in which he lived, criticized concrete reality contradicted reality, and struck down his intention to do so.
