In this paper, the swept source-optical coherence tomography system using frequency domain mode locked(FDML) laser has realized. The FDML swept source laser showed 55.03 kHz sweeping speed, 125 nm sweeping range, and 9 mW output optical power, which are the superiority of FDML laser compared to previous swept source lasers. Also, through the cross-sectional image captured at 5 frames per second for a mirror, a 1 mm-thickness glass plate, and a thumb bottom, the performance of the system has demonstrated.

혈액 검사를 통해 어떤 질병의 감염 여부를 확인하려 한다. g명의 혈액을 검사한다고 하자. g명을 개별적으로 검사하면 g번의 검사가 필요하다. 그러나 g명의 혈액을 섞어서 검사하는 방법도 가능하다. 이처럼 여러 개를 한꺼번에 검사하는 방법을 그룹 검사라고 한다. 본 논문에서는, 질병률이 알려진 경우에 대한 그룹 검사 방법 중에서 계층적 도프만 절차를 이용한다. 그리고 검사의 종속성 때문에 발생하는 단축효고를 고려한다. 이를 통해 개별 검사보다 매우 효율적인 혈액 검사 절차를 제안하겠다. 아울러 실제 상황에 쉽고 간단하게 적용할 수 있는 실용적인 방법을 제안한다.

In relation to a certification system recently, it is coming out complains about make a rule of thumb certification, problems of after-service and duplication with government certifications. Also there is confusion in operating certification system to lack of properly rule to international standard. These impose a heavy burden on company in terms of times and costs and enhance competitiveness. Nevertheless, the survey was not built yet for the status and problems of the cooperation group standards certification System. So, this study purposes that research on the actual condition and development of operational guide for cooperation group standards certification system. In addition it ultimately improve the certification system for reliability and international competitive power. For more detail on this study, it would be considered conformity assessment, domestic/international conformity assessment and certification criteria. Also comparing survey result on the actual condition with international standards, develop operational guidelines to meet international standards.

The acrofacial dysostosis(AFD) is a rare heterogenous disorders combining varying severities of mandibulofacial dysostosis(MFD) with pre and/or post axial limb abnormalities. The Nager syndrome is characterized by preaxial limb defects whereas Miller syndrome is characterized by post axial limb defects. Our AFD case is a 14-year old female. She showed malar hypoplasia, cleft lip & palate(Rt, Lt side), wide nasal bridge, telecanthus. Her right thumb was abscent and middle phalanx, radius, carpal bones of right hand were hypoplastic, and metatarsus varus was present. She showed normal stature and intelligence.

Pulmonary arteriovenous fistula is a congenital vascular malformation originated from abnormalities of capillary development. Fistulas may develop only in the lung or may be associated with similar abnormalities of the skin, mucous membrane, and the other organs. It may occur with hereditary hemorrhagic telangietasia[Rendu-Osier-Weber syndrome]. Recently we have experienced a case of the pulmonary arteriovenous fistula associated with Schwannoma in 20 year old male man. Tennis ball sized bright reddish mass which was composed of variable sized vascular channels filled with blood clots was located in the just subpleural portion of left lower lobe. Left lower lobectomy was done. Microscopic findings showed variable sized numerous blood vessels embedding in the parenchyma. There was a thumb-tip sized brown nodular mass which was turned out to be Schwannoma at the left 7th thoracic paravertebral area.

Three new species of Kelleria are described based on the females from the invertebrate burrows in the Port Seogwipo, Jeju Island, Korea. These species possess in common no process on the inner margin of the free segment of leg 5. Kelleria grandisetiger n. sp. possesses a large seta on lateral sides of the genital double-somite and a small thumb-like process near base of the free segment of leg 5. Kelleria undecidentata n. sp. possesses the elongated free segment of leg 5 which is more than four times as long as wide and 11 teeth on the distal margin of the second maxillary segment. Kelleria portiviva n. sp. possesses one seta and one distinct spine on the distal margin of the free segment of leg 5, ten or 11 teeth on the distal margin of the second maxillary segment, and a tuft of spinules on the convex outer comer of mandible.

A method of estimating mechanical parameters of the intact human muscle is proposed; force responses to ramp length perturbation of the muscle both at the resting and constant contracting states are compared with those of the model. The response during the short period (50ms) after the onset of the perturbation is used for the estimation. Time course of the length perturbation which could lead to the accurate estimation is determined by model analysis. Availability of this method is showed by applying it to the human thumb flexor muscle.

Congenital coronary arteriovenous fistula is uncommon disease, and was first described by Krause in 1865. About 20% of the cases, it associates additional congenital heart diseases. A 5-year-old female patient was diagnosed as coronary AV fistula with VSD, and was taken surgical correction under cardiopulmonary bypass. VSD was small and subarterial in type, and the fistula was dilated as adult thumb tip size at its distal portion. VSD was closed directly through the pulmonary arteriotomy and the aneurysmal dilation was opened vertically, then it was obliterated using 5-0, 6-0 prolene continuous suture fashioning into a long slender tube. Postoperative course was uneventful.

본 연구는 70톤 급 초대형 중장비에 사용되는 머플러를 실험과 경험 법칙을 통하여 개발하였다. 머플러 내부의 파티션 플레이트, 천공관 그리고 파이프 구조를 변경하며 투과손실 성능을 비교하고, 실험 결과를 통하여 머플러의 성능에 영향을 미치는 내부 음향 요소의 최적 조합과 배치를 결정하였다.
