The kinematic synthesis deals with the systematic design of mechanisms for a given performance. The area of synthesis may be grouped into two categories to determine the type and to size the dimensions of a mechanism for a specified task. In this paper, using a database of mechanisms a designer can determine the type of mechanism conveniently and design equations are automatically generated for a given input performance. The solving method of design equations utilizes an optimization routine to obtain roots effectively. The linkages of 4, 6, and 8bars with revolute joints are considered in this study but may be extended to linkages of more bars.

판문점 '자유의 집' 설계경기 결과가 지난 6월 20일 공식 발표되었다. 조달청이 통일원의 '자유의 집' 개축 결정에 따라 지난 1월 설계를 공모하고 3월 29일까지 총 12개의 작품을 접수받은 결과 주.담건축(오평국)의 안이 당선작으로 선정되었으며, 주.모양건축(곽동희), 한메건축(이충기)안이 우수작으로 선정되었다. 이번 설계경기의 심사는 정명현(홍익대 심사위원장), 이선구(숭실대), 조대성(성균관대), 이호진(건국대)교수와 이준구(남북회담 사무국 실장)씨 등 5명이 맡았다. 당선된 주.담건축의 인은 자유의 집이라는 건물의 특성에 부합하도록 통일을 소망하는 의미로 두 손을 합장한 형태로 하였으며, 지붕은 강토를 수호한다는 취지로 방패연 모양을 형상화하였다. 1층에는 남측출입구와 이산가족 면회실이, 2층에는 남북통로 및 회의실, 3층에는 남북연락사무소와 다목적 예비실, 4층에는 90층 규모의 전망대가 위치할 예정이다. 오는 7월 실시설계안이 확정되면 97년쯤이면 판문점 자유의 집이 통일의 소망을 안고, 단아하고도 힘 있는 모습으로 자리잡을 것이다.

이 논문은 step기둥의 자유진동 및 좌굴하중에 관한 연구이다. 축하중을 받는 변단면 기둥의 자유진동을 지배하는 편미분방정식을 이용하여 축하중을 받는 step기둥의 자유진동을 지배하는 상미분방정식을 유도하였다. 또한 이 자유진동을 지배하는 미분방정식을 이용하여 step기둥의 좌굴하중을 지배하는 상미분방정식을 유도하였다. 유도된 미분방정식들을 Heun방법과 Regula-Falsi방법을 이용하여 고유진동수 및 좌굴하중을 산출할 수 있는 수치해석방법을 개발하였다. 실제 수치해석 예에서는 2개의 step구간을 갖는 회전-회전, 회전-고정, 고정-고정 기둥에 대한 무차원 고유진동수화 무차원변수들과의 관계 및 무차원 좌굴하중과 무차원 변수들과의 관계를 그림에 나타내었다.

Positron Annihilation Lifetime Spectroscopy is a non-destructive technique to study voids and defects in solids by the measurement of gammas from electron-positron annihilation. In this study, we measured the lifetime of CR, EPDM, NBR, all of which are widely used polymer in various fields. A conventional fast-fast coincidence system in KAERI(Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute) has been used to measure the lifetime spectra, Three lifetime components were analyzed from each lifetime spectra. According to Tao-Eldrup model equation, the size and fraction of free-volume were calculated. Mean radius and free volume fraction of CR, EPDM NBR are $0.1217nm^3$(1.9103%), $0.14780nm^3$(5.3147%), $0.1216nm^3$(2.6381%), respectively. Through these measurements, we identified the feasibility of the PAL system for polymer analysis.

A method for the free network adjustment is proposed, based on the application of generalized inverse matrix (g-inverse). If the network adjustment is executed according to the solution with parameters, especially when all coordinates are considered as parameters to keep unity strength, the matrix of normal equation will be singular. This paper discusses the problem of singular matrix and the analysis of accuracy between conventional method and the free network adjustment of trilateration. In case of the adjustment, the RMS errors of adjusted X, Y coordinates are increased to 35.6% in a polygon, central-point figure, and 50.5% in a quadrilateral. In the elements of error ellipse, the RMS errors are decreased by $\pm$24.5% (a) and $\pm$5.0 % (b) in the polygon, $\pm$42.6% (a) and $\pm$49.2% (b) in the quadrilateral. Introduction of free network adjustment, therefore, could be applied to improvement of relative accuracy in the horizontal positioning.

산란계 육성기 제한시기 및 제한강도가 육성기 발육형태 및 산란생산성 반응을 구명하고자 1일령 갈색 산란 실용계 Isa-brown 1,000수를 공시하여 70주간 사양시험을 실시하였다. 사료급여 방법은 자유채식구와 제한급이구 9처리를 두었는데, 제한시기는 4, 6 및 8주령으로 하였고 제한강도는 각 시기별 70 %, 85 % 및 12주령 기준으로 70 %에서 85 %로 하는 처리를 두었다. 육성기 사료섭취량은 제한급이시기가 빠를수록 제한강도가 강할수록 자유채식구에 비하여 유의적으로 낮게 나타났다(P<0.05). 산란생산성은 4주령, 85 %구와 6주령 70 % 및 6주령 70 $\longrightarrow$ 85 % 전환구가 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 계란 난각의 품질은 제한급이구가 산란후기에 자유채식구 대비 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과에서 육성기 제한급이는 육성기 사료섭취량을 절감할 수 있으며 생산성과 난각질 향상에 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

In this experiments of design, vibration evaluation, and test of vehicles, aircraft, and other mechanisms the development of vibration simulator that serves environment similar to real fields takes lots of advantages. Especially, in the real field test of vehicles it possesses the advantages of showing the dynamic characteristics of the vehicle. In this study, to investigate the validity and fitness of proposed 6DOF parallel link mechanism we simulated that mechanism.

In this paper, we present new methods for solving the inverse kinematics associated with 6 degree of freedoms manipulator by the numerical method. This method will be based on tracking stability of special nonlinear dynamical systems, and differs from the typical techniques based by the Newton-Gauss or Newton-Raphson method for solving nonlinear equations. This simulation results show that the new method is solving the inverse kinematics of PUMA 560 without the derivative of a given task space trajectories.

For the design of synergistic hydraulic motion simulator, the load locus method is introduced. The given mass property of load and its velocity profile is resolved into the load locus of each actuator which decides the suitable valve and cylinder. This asymmtic cylinder and 4 way valve system have the pressure oscillation on zero velocity. The variable structure position controller which based on linearized flow equation makes elimination of the unstable pressure oscillation.
