A Study on Performance Improvement of Route Optimization in Fast Mobile IPv6 (Fast Mobile IPv6에서 Route Optimization 성능 향상에 관한 연구)

  • In Mobile IPv6 handover should be followed by RO(Route Optimization) to support direct communication between a MN(Mobile Node) and CN(Correspondent Node). For this RR MIPv6 must perform RR(Return Routability) procedure before BU(Binding Update) to CN. The Fast Handover for MIPv6(FMIPv6) also performs the RR test for MN to communicate with CN directly. However, Return Routability test has long latency resulting in handover delay in MIPv6. This paper proposes the method to reduce the handover deay by reducing RO latency in FastMobile IPv6.

  • IETF has proposed Fast Handovers for Mobile IPv6 (FMIPv6) for efficient mobility management, FMIPv6 has no solutions to protect binding updates. Previous researches have mainly concentrated on using AAA, public cerificates or cryptographic algorithms to secure binding updates. However the approaches need a particular infrastructure or a heavy processing cost to setup secure associations for handovers. Proposed scheem provides authentication for FMIPv6 without infrasturcture and costly cryptographic algorithms by extending Return Routability Protocol. Also proposed scheme is oble to be used for various existing handover mechanisms in IPv6 network.

  • The BcN is applying from public networks to local networks and each terminal step by step until 2007. By IPv6 network introduction, IP address lack problem can be solved. However, the threats that network attacks of another method can be caused with new problem of network security in IPv6 networks. In this paper, we suggest the traffic analysis tool which analyze IPv6 traffic efficiently to detect/response network attack in IPv6 environment. The implemented IPv6 traffic analysis tool uses IPv6 header to analyze traffic and detect network attacks. Also, we also propose detection algorithm to detect network attacks in IPv6 networks.

  • IP 기반의 센서 네트워크인 6LoWPAN 은 IEEE 802.15.4 표준에 IPv6 를 적용하기 위해 제안되었다. 현재 IPv6 상에서 노드의 이동성을 지원하기 위한 기술로 MIPv6 와 PMIPv6 가 표준화 되었다. 6LoWPAN 에서 이동성을 지원하기 위해서 PMIPv6 를 적용하는 것이 MIPv6 를 적용하는 것보다 더 효율적이다. PMIPv6 기술의 특징은 기존의 MIPv6 에 비해 노드가 바인딩 메시지를 처리하지 않는 점이다. 따라서 노드의 부하를 줄일 수 있기 때문에 6LoWPAN 에 적합하다. 하지만 6LoWPAN 노드의 하드웨어적인 제약 사항을 고려해 볼 때, 기존의 PMIPv6 를 그대로 적용하기에는 무리가 있다. 그대로 적용한다면 PMIPv6 은 원 홉에 기반하고 있기 때문에 멀티 홉에 기반한 6LoWPAN 에는 적합하지 않다. 또한 기존에 정의되어 있는 RS 나 RA 메시지의 크기로 인해 멀티 홉 경로상의 각 단말에 많은 부하를 줄 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 위의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 6LoWPAN 에 적합한 RS 와 RA 메시지를 제안한다.

  • 무선네트워크 환경의 발전으로 인해 이동 중 대용량, 고속의 멀티미디어 서비스의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 이런 이동성 기술을 수용하기 위해 MIPv6가 현재까지 대표적인 표준 프로토콜 가능성을 가졌지만 이론과 구현의 괴리감으로 인한 한계와 핸드오버 지연시간으로 인한 서비스 품질을 저하로 표준화 기술로서 적합성은 힘들다는 전망이다. 최근 IETF NetLMM(Network-based Local Mobility Management) 워킹그룹에서 표준화 작업을 진행하고 있는 망 기반 이동성 제공 기법은 기존의 단말 기반 이동성 제공방식인 MIPv6(Mobile IPv6) 의 단점을 극복하기 위해 제안된 방식으로, 현재 PMIPv6(Proxy Mobile IPv6)를 워킹그룹 공식 프로토콜로 채택하고 표준화를 진행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이전의 표준화 기술인 KIIPv6의 단점이 무엇인지 알아보고 MIPv6의 단점을 보완한 새로운 표준 기술로 각광받고 있는 PMIPv6기술의 특징과 향후 전망에 대해 알아볼 것이다.

  • It is necessary to change internet protect from version 4 (IPv4) to version 6 (IPv6). A converter from IPv4 to IPv6 is working in a laboratory not in practice. In this paper, we review internet protocol versions (IPv6) and design IPv4 to IPv6 converter. The IPv4 to IPv6 converter also has security prediction capability so as to deal with security problem when IPv4 packet is converted to IPv6 packet.

  • Nine novel compounds, namely, 2-(p-aminobenzenesulfonamideo)-6-sulfamylbenzothiozle, 2-benzamido-6-sulfamylbenzothiazole, 2-(p-toluenesulfonamide)-6-sulfamylbenzothiazole, 2-(3,5-dinitrobenzamido)-6-sulfamylbenzothiazole, 2-benzamido-6-nitrobenzothiazole, 2-(p-toluene-sulfonamido)-6-nitrobenzothiazole, 2-(3,5-dinitrobenzamido)-6-nitrobenzothiazole, 2-(p-toluenesulfonamido)-6-chlorobenzothiazole, 2-(3,5-dinitrobenzamido)-6-chlorobenzothiazole were synthesized and evaluated for their in vitro antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus wood 46, $\betha$-Streptococcus S86, Escherichia coli and antitubercular activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H$_{37}$ /Rv. 2-(p-Toluenesulfonamido)-6-chlorobenzothiazole showed antimicrobial activity at 25 $\mu$g/ml against $\betha$-Streptococcus S/86, 2-(3,5-Dinitrobenzamido)-6-sulfamylbenzothiazole was active at 5 $\mu$g/ml and 2-(3,5-dinitrobenzamido)-6-nitrobenzothiazole was consderably active at 1$\mu$g/ml against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H$_{37}$Rv.

  • The design of router that converts IP packets from IPv4 network to IPv6 network using embedded Linux toolkit based on processor is presented. As an address transition platform, IPv6 module is transplanted to Linux using processor and the experiment was done with IPv4 and IPv6. In order to build the test network, it is constructed with Tunneling mechanism of IPv4 and IPv6 network. The packet value is obtained about 2$\mu$sec on average a 2 hops on the ICMP ping6.

  • An efficient procedure for the synthesis of 6,7-dichloro-5,8-phthalazinedione (4) was developed in 49% overall yield via chloroxidation of 5,8-diaminophthalazine (8). And a series of its derivatives, 7-pyridinium-5,8-phthalazinedione-6-oxide (9), 6-chloro-7-phenylamino-5,8-phthalazinedione (10), 6,6-dimethoxy-6H-2,3,6b,11-tetraazabenzo[a]fluoren-5-one (11a), and 6,6-diethoxy-6H-2,3,6b,11-tetraazabenzo[a]fluoren-5-one (11b) have been synthesized.

  • In this paper, we have proposed a integrated dynamic control architecture in 6WD(wheel drive)/6WS(wheel steering) vehicle for military applications. Since 6WD/6WS vehicle has inherent redundancy, the input variables to make any desired vehicle motion can not be determined uniquely. Therefore, optimal distribution method of tire forces is introduced, which is based on workload of each tire. Simulation result shows that this is effective for the energy minimization and dynamic performance enhancement. We also suggest how the integrated control with any failure mode should be reconstructed.
