2자유도 PI 제어기를 이용한 2축 BLDC 모터 시스템의 정밀 위치동기 제어 (Precise Position Synchronous Control of Two-Axes System Using Two-Degree-of-Freedom PI Controller in BLDC Motor)

  • This paper describes a precise position synchronous control of two axes rotating system using BLDC motors and a cooperative control based on decoupling technique and PI control law. The system is required performances both good speed following and minimum position synchronous errors simultaneously. To accomplish these goals, the three kinds of controllers are designed. At first, the current and speed controller are designed very simply to compensate the influences of disturbances and to follow up speed references quickly. Especially, the two degree of freedom PI controller is used considering both good tracking for speed reference input and quick rejection of disturbances in speed controller. Finally, a position synchronous controller is designed as a simple proportional controller to minimize position synchronous errors. The validity of the proposed method is confirmed through some numerical simulations. Moreover, the results are compared to the conventional master-slave control ones to show the effectiveness of the proposed system.

  • 위성통신설비를 위한 인공위성 추적 안테나 제어 시스템은 바람에 의한 외란과 베어링 공기역학적 마찰로 인한 전달함수의 파라메타 변동이 존재하므로, 이러한 시스템의 불확실성에도 불구하고 만족스러운 명령추종성을 가지는 강인한 제어 시스템의 설계가 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 $\mu$-설계법을 사용하여 피드백 \ulcorner 포워드 제어기를 각각 독립적으로 설계할 수 있는 강인한 성능을 가지는 2자유도계의 설계법을 제시한다. 또한, 제시된 설계법을 위성추적 안테나 제어 시스템에 제어 시스템에 적용되고 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 1자유도계와 성능을 비교 고찰하여 그 유용성을 확인한다.

Dubins 곡선을 이용한 항공기 3자유도 질점 모델의 3차원 경로계획 및 유도 (3-Dimensional Path Planning and Guidance using the Dubins Curve for an 3-DOF Point-mass Aircraft Model)

  • In this paper, we integrate three degree of freedom(3DOF) point-mass model for aircraft and three-dimensional path generation algorithms using dubins curve and nonlinear path tracking law. Through this integration, we apply the path generation algorithm to the path planning, and verify tracking performance and feasibility of using the aircraft 3DOF point-mass model for air traffic management. The accuracy of modeling 6DOF aircraft is more accurate than that of 3DOF model, but the complexity of the calculation would be raised, in turn the rate of computation is more likely to be slow due to the increase of degree of freedom. These obstacles make the 6DOF model difficult to be applied to simulation requiring real-time path planning. Therefore, the 3DOF point-mass model is also sufficient for simulation, and real-time path planning is possible because complexity can be reduced, compared to those of the 6DOF. Dubins curve used for generating the optimal path has advantage of being directly available to apply path planning. However, we use the algorithm which extends 2D path to 3D path since dubins curve handles the two dimensional path problems. Control law for the path tracking uses the nonlinear path tracking laws. Then we present these concomitant simulation results.

  • In this paper, a two-stage kinematic optimal design for a 3 degree of-freedom (DOF) excavator subsystem, which consists of boom, arm and bucket, is performed. The objective of the first stage is to find the optimal parameters of the joint-actuating mechanisms which maximize the force-torque transmission ratio between the hydraulic actuator and the rotating joint. The objective of the second stage is to find the optimal link parameters which maximize the isotropic characteristic of the excavator subsystem throughout the workspace. It is illustrated that kinematic/dynamic performances of the kinematically optimized excavator subsystem have improved compared to those of original HE280 excavator, with respect to three performance indices such as maximum load handling capacity, maximum velocity capability, and acceleration capability.

Optimization of LQR method for the active control of seismically excited structures

  • This paper introduces an appropriate technique to estimate the weighting matrices used in the linear quadratic regulator (LQR) method for active structural control. For this purpose, a parameter is defined to regulate the relationship between the structural energy and control force. The optimum value of the regulating parameter, is determined for single degree of freedom (SDOF) systems under seismic excitations. In addition, the suggested technique is generalized for multiple degrees of freedom (MDOF) active control systems. Numerical examples demonstrate the robustness of the proposed method for controlled buildings under a wide range of seismic excitations.

  • In this work, we have developed a 2 degree of freedom(DOF) motion simulator that can generate the sensation of motion in a 6 DOF space. The motion base has the DOF of roll and pitch, and the purpose of the motion base is to create the sensation of riding a vehicle in a 3D space by controlling the motion base. The dynamics of the mechanism was analysed and the optimal design of the motion base mechanism has been reached. The prototype motion base mechanism was developed and tested. The multi-axis motion controller(MMC) was used to control the two ac servo motors that drive the roll and pitch motion.

  • Many articles have been published about a 2-degree of freedom model that includes the lateral and yaw motions for controller synthesis in intelligent transport system applications. In this paper, a 3-degree of freedom linear model that includes the roll motion is developed to design a robust steering controller for lane following maneuvers using ${\mu}$-synthesis. This linear perturbed system includes a set of parametric uncertainties in cornering stiffness and unmodelled dynamics in steering actuators. The state-space model with parametric uncertainties is represented in linear fractional transformation form. Design purpose can be obtained by properly choosing the frequency dependent weighting functions. The objective of this study is to keep the tracking error and steering input energy small in the presence of variations of the cornering stiffness coefficients. Furthermore, good ride quality has to be achieved against these uncertainties. Frequency-domain analyses and time-domain numerical simulations are carried out in order to evaluate these performance specifications of a given vehicle system. Finally, the simulation results indicate that the proposed robust controller achieves good performance over a wide range of uncertainty for the given maneuvers.

Numerical solving of initial-value problems by Rbf basis functions

  • This paper presents a numerical procedure for solving initial-value problems using the special functions which belong to a class of Rvachev's basis functions $R_{bf}$ based on algebraic and trigonometric polynomials. Because of infinite derivability of these functions, derivatives of all orders, required by differential equation of the problem and initial conditions, are used directly in the numerical procedure. The accuracy and stability of the proposed numerical procedure are proved on an example of a single degree of freedom system. Critical time step was also determined. An algorithm for solving multiple degree of freedom systems by the collocation method was developed. Numerical results obtained by $R_{bf}$ functions are compared with exact solutions and results obtained by the most commonly used numerical procedures for solving initial-value problems.

  • Generally, the problem of vertical vibration of structure is generated slab. Analysis of space framed structures with slab for vertical vibration requires more efficient modeling and analysis technique, because number of elements lead to more complicated model with many degree of freedom which requires large amount of computing resources for dynamic analysis. This paper propose an efficient analysis method for vertical vibration of space framed structure with slab. At first, proposed model is selected minimum joints and degree of freedom which are acquired sufficient dynamic response to the vertical vibration. Secondly, super-elements that are made a number of element are used for simple input data and fast analysis.
