  • Convective heat transfer coefficient was measured around a secondary jet ejected into the supersonic flow field. Wall temperature distribution was measured on the surface, which the constant heat flux condition is applied. According to jet to freestream momentum ratio, the secondary flow was penetrated into the supersonic flow field. During the test, two dimensional thermal image of a wall temperature is taken by an infra-red camera. Experiments were performed under the testing condition of freestream Mach number of about 3, stagnation pressure of 630 kPa and Reynolds number of $3.0{\times}10^6$.

  • In this paper, heat transfer changes due to the shock/boundary layer interaction were investigated on surfaces where protruding bodies such as a cylinder and a secondary jet are mounted. With an infra-red thermography, surface temperature was measured and the measured data was used to obtain the convective heat transfer. Heat transfer phenomena around these two solid and fluid bodies were appeared to be very comparable each other. The inclination of a cylinder and the jet injection ratio were the important factors for the change of heat transfer on the effective surfaces.

  • In this paper, heat transfer changes due to the shock/boundary layer interaction were investigated on surfaces where secondary jet are injected. With an infra-red thermography, surface temperature was measured and the measured data was used to obtain the convective heat transfer. Heat transfer is enhanced with increment of momentum ratio. And normal injection case has a higher heat transfer value than that of 15 degrees inclined injection case. Secondary injection momentum ratio and injection angle affect the surface heat transfer distribution.

  • Differential cryptanalysis and linear cryptanalysis are the most powerful approaches known for attacking many block ciphers and used to evaluating the security of many block ciphers. So designers have designed secure block ciphers against these cryptanalyses. In this paper, we present new three block cipher structures. And for given r, we prove that differential(linear) probabilities for r-round blockcipher structures are upper bounded by $p^2(q^2),\;2p^2(2q^2)$ if the maximum differential(linear) probability is p(q) and the round function is a bijective function.

  • Numerical simulation of the flow of upper convected Maxwell fluid through planar 4:1 contraction has been performed using type dependent difference apprximation of vorticity equation. For creeping flow assumption, the numerical convergence has been achieved up to much higher values of elasticity parameter than those obtained by conventional finite difference method. For non-vanishing Reynolds number flow, it is shown that the corner vortices disappear, which is in good qualitative agreement with extant experimental results. In doing so, spatial distributions of stream function, vorticity and stresses are considered in relation to change of type of vorticity.

  • In this study, we investigate the accuracy of higher order derivatives in the moving least square (MLS) difference method. An interpolation function is constructed by employing a Taylor series expansion via MLS approximation. The function is then applied to the mixed variational theorem in which the displacement and stress resultants are treated as independent variables. The higher order derivatives are evaluated by solving simply supported beams and cantilevers. The results are compared with the analytical solutions in terms of the order of polynomials, support size of the weighting function, and number of nodes. The accuracy of the higher order derivatives improves with the employment of the mean value theorem, especially for very high-order derivatives (e.g., above fourth-order derivatives), which are important in a classical asymptotic analysis.
