  • 170kV GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear) is widely used in large industrial factory-electrical facilities of private use because has many benefits. But Other equipments's failures are occurred by GIS failures and give rise economic problems to user. Therefore we will examine the actual condition of the 170kV GIS-electrical facilities of private use and are able to confirm the distribution characteristic analysis of disconnecting switchgear. In this paper, we presents the actual condition investigation of the disconnecting switchgear of 170kV GIS-electrical facilities of private use by post - failure pattern, inspection method, test equipments and so forth.

  • In this paper, We presents the actual condition of domestic 170kv GIS(Gas Insulated Swichgear)- Electrical Facilities of Private Use be examined by post. We are able to confirm the distribution characteristic analysis of GIS failure- type of industry, occurrence frequency, part and counter plan research for failure preventing.

  • 전력설비 증가와 더불어 GIS 사용이 확대되고 있는 상황에서 GIS 내부고장 발생시 복구 지연으로 인한 사례가 지속 발생하고 있다. 이를 예방하기 위해 170kV GIS 고장구간 판정시스템용 압력센서를 개발하고 검증을 위해 실사용 GIS 2대를 이용하여 내아크 시험을 수행한 결과이다. 시험을 통해 고장시 GIS 탱크 내부의 압력, 온도, 압력파를 측정하였고 SF6 Gas 배관과 연결된 현장조작함(LCP)내 가스주입구에 설치한 압력센서의 동작유무을 검증하였다. 시험결과 유동해석(CFD) 등 시뮬레이션 예측보다 압력 및 온도 상승이 높게 측정되었고 제품에 대한 신뢰성과 확대적용 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, we changed $SF_6$ insulation gases used already in the GIB(Gas Insulated Bus, gas insulated busbar) of switching appliances of power grid 170[kV] GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear, Gas Insulated Switchgear) with green insulation dry air gases and studied dielectric breakdown voltage characteristics by the AC voltage withstand test. Withstand test AC voltage applied to the standard KEPCO's 170[kV] GIB with dry air insulation and and the equivalent of dry air and $SF_6$ gas were examined. Breakdown voltage of dry air, using an expression of the experiments were calculated and AC Withstand criterion of dry air insulation for the AC voltage test was derived. Using the criterion, dry air gases can be used instead of the $SF_6$ gas was confirmed in the factory acceptance test at 170[kV] GIB.

  • Traditionally, instrument transformer of the ferromagnetic core type have been used for measuring current in GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear). Recently, with the introduction of digital technology at the protection relay or measurement device level, the use of new current sensor can be foreseen. Current measurement by means of Rogowski coil is just one illustration of this. This paper describes the progress of development of Rogowski-coil type CT for application in 170kV GIS.

UHF 센서 위치 최적화로 부분방전 신호 검출 방법 (UHF Sensor Location Optimization for Partial Discharge Signals Detection Method)

  • GIS partial discharge that occurred in the UHF band signal is effectively detected by the method to IEC60270 5pc the apparent minimum discharge can be detected over the GIS arrangement of the sensor interior and exterior of the UHF in accordance with the optimized position signal by considering the damping ratio is selected so that the signals can be obtained to be mounted. 362kV, 800kV GIS is installed on the internal and external sensors are UHF band signal attenuation is set by measuring the reference value, but the operation, 170kV case 362kV, 800kV on the basis of the measurement data and to be installed and operated. When 170kV per 1Bay by installing the built-in sensor 1 for detecting a partial discharge signal, But, GIS signal attenuation is large in the case of an internal partial discharge signal is not detected in some cases. Where the attenuation is great UHF signal of the sensor by increasing the quantity of partial discharge signals were acquired to allow relocation. The greater the spacing between the sensor and the sensor is applied simplifies the installation and reduces the cost in terms of maintenance of appropriate optimal position is calculated to detect the partial discharge signal is needed. Thus 170kV GIS signal power attenuation of a partial discharge by measuring the UHF sensor, and by relocating the proper position is calculated in accordance with the sensor signal decay rate and minimize the error of omission in detecting a partial discharge signal was optimized.

  • Recently, the development of diagnosis technique with high confidence is important on power equipment, for this reason is use for measurement and analysis of PD with prior appearance of insulation breakdown In this paper, we presents the analysis of trouble signal to use ${\Phi}$-Q method which display 2D and 3D Equipment of simulation has made independently DS for 170kV GIS of one phase with same on field. The detected signal through the sensor of Induction and Acoustic Emission is classified to use characteristic neural network algorithm and then it is analysis.

광섬유의 선형복굴절 보상에 따른 170 kV GIS용 전류 센서의 출력 특성 (The Output Property of Optical CT for the 170 kV GIS Owing to the Compensation of Linear Birefringence at Optical Fibers)

  • The optical CT was developed to use twisted fibers for 170 kV GIS. The fiber sensor optimized on the optical CT was wound 3 turns and twisted 4 times per a turn at the pipe with a diameter of 130 mm. The measurement error for the linearity which was satisfied the criterion of 'IEC Class-1.0' was less than ± 0.44 % at the transmission type and ± 0.82 % at the reflection type to 2,000 A. At a low current to 200 A, the measurement error was ± 0.69% at the transmission type and ± 1.38 % at the reflection type.

  • 변전소내 주 전력설비에는 변압기, 170kV 및 25.8kV GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear), 보호제어장치, 집중감시제어반, SCADA(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) 등으로 구성되어 있다. 이들 기기들을 제어하고 조작하기 위한 조작회로 보조장치에는 접자접촉기인 보조계전기가 사용되어진다. 1개 배전반내에 보조계전기는 보통 20개 이상 설치되어 있고 변전소내 타 고가 전력기기에 비해 저가이고 수량이 상대적으로 매우 많다. 본 논문에서는 25.8kV GIS내에 널리 사용되는 일반 제품인 보조계전기의 특성을 고찰하므로서 변전소 운전환경에 적합한 운영방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • We developed internal and external type sensor to measure ultra-high frequency (UHF) partial discharge (PD) in 170 kV gas-insulated switchgears (GIS). We also manufactured a PD-generator to verify and measure the detection sensitivity of those sensors. We measured the output power of the UHF PD sensors induced by PDs of 5 pC using the PD-generator. We measured UHF propagation loss of an 170 kV GIS for optimal arrangement of the sensors. We used swept UHF signal from a network analyzer into the GIS to measure the loss of various components of the GIS.
